On A Quiet Street was so good. It was pretty much everything I love in a mystery/thriller. It was hard to put down and I read about 70% in one sitting. I only put it down the first time because I needed to go to bed.
This community in Oregon seemed perfect. The street is quiet and full of couples with children. But things are not always what they seem. There are lots of secrets in those perfect houses. Cora lives with her husband and teenage daughter. She thinks her husband is cheating and has for years, but he always makes her feel like she's crazy. Every time she confronts him, he has another excuse. Her daughter pulled away a year ago and she feels like they're no longer close. She busies herself doing things for everyone, including hosting a ton of charity events. Paige and her husband are separated. They couldn't be together after their 22 year old son died. Paige believes it was murder, but the police just said a hit and run. But there was a gun there that nobody could explain. Paige spends her days spying on all her neighbors. She's obsessed with finding out what really happened and she even breaks into houses. Her husband wants to be with her, but he just checks in on her when he can. Georgia is a young mom, much younger than the other women and also her own husband. She's married to a judge that she met when he was traveling to England. She came back to the US with him. Her house has more secrets than anyone though. She cannot get away from them. She finally confides in Cora and they work on a way to save her. But Georgia also has a secret herself that she's kept from Cora. Paige also decides to help Cora catch her husband cheating. She goes further than she expected to, but she has an ulterior motive. Everyone has secrets that finally come out by the end of the book.
I gave this book 5 stars. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for my earc.
On a Quiet Street is a page-turning domestic suspense novel that reminds me a bit of Big Little Lies. I recommend it to fans of family-based mysteries and dramas.
I am a library associate and received an advance copy from #NetGalley. Opinions are my own.
All aboard for destination Crazy Street! The train is about to leave and Seraphina Nova Glass is our conductor for the journey.
Everyone has secrets, everyone lies and nothing is as it seems on this fascinating street. The characters, particularly Paige, were so well developed.
Another hit from one of my fave authors.
Thank you to the publisher for gifting me a copy. It's my pleasure to write an honest review.
Domestic thrillers are my favorite! One a Quiet Street was everything I was looking for within this genre and I devoured this one in nearly one sitting!
My first book to read by this author but definitely not my last! Such a gripping novel that made it hard for me to put his book down once I started it. Highly recommend!!
Quiet street-Not! Every neighbor has a secret! Lots of characters and plots! A little too much going on for me. This novel will make readers appreciate their own neighborhood.

I loved this book and I loved these characters! I connected with them and felt the emotions that they felt! (I will say Paige could have refrained from her indiscretion.) And I was so shocked to read the situation with Georgia and Lucas. And the ending….bam! Loved every second of this book!

Ssssnnnnaakkkeess In A Bag! 😳😯
⊰ On A Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass ⊱
Fluffy Cuddy Bunnies say what?! I mean... mother of pearl & holy high heavens! I cannot believe that ending! 😳 While perhaps a bit of a slower burn, I still enjoyed the plot and how everything slowly unravelled and ultimately led to one helluva ending. This novel definitely delivered not only a satisfying ending, but mind bombs you can't imagine!
In Oregon, there is a lovely, wealthy & luxurious gated community - Brighton Hills. Neighbours look out for each other here, especially the women. Cora, she believes her husband is definitely having an affair. Paige just lost her teenager a year ago from a hit and run with no suspects still. & the new neighbour's wife, Georgia, has a new baby girl, but is very hermit like and doesn't interact with anyone or leave the house. Cora and Paige team up to finally reveal Cora's husbands infidelity but how far will a grief-stricken mother & obsessed wife go? And what exactly is Georgia hiding becoming more erratic? Brighton Hills keeps the neighbours safe, including their secrets. Until now.
I will admit, as the story unraveled it felt slow moving at times and I was thinking of a lower rating, but when Nova Glass delivers the shockers of the ending, I was quickly persuaded to amp it up! I definitely had a few major gasps at the end, & some fast paced heart moments even leading up to it. The stories, lies, deceit, darkness and revelations will leave you so satisfied in this suspenseful thriller, like the last piece of your favourite cake left just for you. Twisted connections - Nova Glass is brilliant!
Thank you to NetGalley & Harlequin Trade Publishing for this DARC.

I give this a strong 4 / 5 Bouquets! 💐
Good neighborhood suspense and it will definitely go over well with our library patrons. I stopped at 13%, but definitely an easy 4 stars if it continues as it has.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the ARC.
I’m going to preface this review by saying that I didn’t finish this book.
I got a quarter of the way through and just didn’t want to keep reading.
I didn’t feel like the characters were very believable and the story seemed all over the place. I’m sure it gets better and things get tied up in the end but I wasn’t invested enough to get there.
Lately I’ve been loving domestic thrillers but, sadly, this one was a miss for me.
Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.
This book is anything BUT about a quiet street! Lots of secrets, lies, deceit…every single neighbor seemed to have something secretive going on!! I did find myself getting confused in the middle of the story with so many characters and plots to keep track of. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this early release in exchange for my honest review.
I liked this book, though I didn’t love it. It centers on 3 main characters: Cora, Paige, and Georgia. They are all neighbors in an exclusive neighborhood who are harboring secrets, some bigger than others.
Each character had likable qualities even when they made mistakes. The mystery of what happened to Paige’s son hovered over the whole story and provided some good twists. I did sometimes feel that I didn’t understand the motivations for some of the decisions they made, though. The book veered off in a bit of a different direction than I expected at one point, but still solved the initial mysteries that had been laid out.
All in all, interesting read, though I’m not sure it stands out all that much in a crowded genre of “seemingly perfect neighborhoods hiding big secrets”. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
A domestic thriller/drama with some humor woven in. Great settings and three likable main characters. The book is well written and the story flows along. My first read by this author and I will definitely check out her other books. On a Quiet Street is an easy, enjoyable read.
Note: I received an advanced copy of this book from Harlequin Trade Publishing via NetGalley.
Who wouldn’t want to live in Brighton Hills? This exclusive community on the Oregon coast is the perfect mix of luxury and natural beauty. Stunning houses nestle beneath mighty Douglas firs, and lush backyards roll down to the lakefront. It’s the kind of place where neighbors look out for one another. Sometimes a little too closely…
Cora thinks her husband, Finn, is cheating—she just needs to catch him in the act. That’s where Paige comes in. Paige lost her son to a hit-and-run last year, and she’s drowning in the kind of grief that makes people do reckless things. Like spying on the locals, searching for proof that her son’s death was no accident. And agreeing to Cora’s plan to reveal what kind of man Finn really is. All the while, their reclusive new neighbor, Georgia, is acting more strangely every day. But what could such a lovely young mother possibly be hiding?
When you really start to look beyond the airy open floor plans and marble counters, Brighton Hills is filled with secrets. Some big, some little, some deadly. And one by one, they’re about to be revealed…
Halfway through this book, it was really not what I expected. I did like generally the direction of how the book went. The most striking story for me was Georgia's, I liked her as a character. Paige was a hit and miss for me, there were a lot of things about her that I did not like. Cora, I could relate to.
All the suburban spooky vibes!!! This one kept me GUESSING. Highly recommend for a book club. Loved it.
Great domestic suspense book filled with twists and turns! Point of views alternate between three very different women who have one thing in common: bad marriages! There are familiar tropes involved but the friendship of the women and their antics are very appealing. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!
This book was probably very good but just wasn’t for me. I don’t like books about neighborhoods and communities. Wish I stuck with it but it’s one that I’ll come back to another time.
It was really difficult to discern between what character was who and so on. The storyline was good but there were almost too many storylines and I lost track. The characters needed to be a bit better defined and maybe focussed on one or two perspectives as it’s started getting frustrating.
I am really sick of the whole "in a perfect neighborhood with perfect lawns live perfect families with perfect children and perfect marriages....or are things really not so perfect?" plot. This was an enjoyable read, but nothing we haven't seen before (and then again, and again, and again).
This book did not catch or keep my attention. I can’t blame the book itself entirely because the format felt odd digitally. It might be better in paperback or audio. It skips around very quickly although the author does a good job of differentiating character/narrator voice.
