A good story about two people from the past finding each other. Serena is starting over with her two boys leaving her cheating husband behind. Will Harvey comes back into town wanting to take over for a vet who is retiring? now years ago they have pulled apart so maybe this is a sign of them being put back together. A very good story with goo characters.

I like Leslie North’s books. The two main characters are Serena and Will. They have known each other all their lives. Serena is in the process of divorce, she has twins a boy and a girl. Will is taking over a veterinarian practice and it is in bad shape. Serena needs a job and Will needs a receptionist. They have an attraction and go slow with it. Serena helps Will with his practice and he helps her dream to own a bakery. They fall in live.

Cowboy’s Christmas Homecoming is the third book in the Harvey Ranch series, and this book focuses on the youngest Harvey brother, Will. He’s returned to their hometown after completing his time in veterinary school, taking over one of the local practices from one of his retiring mentors. He’s got an uphill battle with the business, as the prior owner had less than satisfied customers and a building that needs repairs and upgrades. Serena, our main female lead, has just lost her job (again), and she’s struggling to find her footing taking care of her two children while managing the divorce that’s looming from her husband’s affair. Will offers her the job managing the front desk of the practice, despite the reminder of the crush he harbored for her when they were younger.

This was my favorite of the three Harvey Ranch books, as I really enjoyed Will and Serena as the main characters and their relationship development over the course of the book. The two characters balance each other out well, and the book remained light-hearted despite the serious tone of some of the subplots. Another highlight was seeing the children from the three books interact with each other, as the families come together on the Harvey Ranch.

The writing style is much the same as the other books, and there were parts of dialogue and the text that didn’t work well for me. That opinion traveled through the series, but I was able to eventually get back into the book and keep reading for the plot and characters, more than the writing itself.

Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the digital copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I loved this. Will and Serena’s story is a sweet one. Both stressed by what’s happening in their lives, they realize they can help each other through those tough times. 5 stars!!

This is the third book in the Harvey Ranch Series. I really enjoyed this book by Leslie North as I do most that she has written. Will is the youngest son/brother of the Harvey's. He has been at vet school, recently graduate and returned home to run the local vet clinic. Serena is a mom of twins whose husband cheated and left to be with his girlfriend. She struggles with working jobs and is on her third as she has never worked before except as a stay at home Mom. Will has always had a crush on her and needs help at his clinic. The clinic is falling a part and the previous owner did not leave the best impression on his patients. I loved reading their story. Serena who has never had anyone believe in her and struggles with accepting Will faith in her. Will who struggles when the ex returns and not wanting to get in the way of a family. Another great book by Leslie North. Highly recommend.

Received this book from Netgalley for my honest review.

Let's be honest, Will is pretty much of a dream guy. He's smart, driven, caring, and has unlimited patience. The way he encourages Serena to both give her own dreams some real thought and to not be discouraged when she's struggling at work at the beginning made him my favorite of the three brothers. I liked Serena a lot for not allowing people to just walk all over her, but got a little frustrated in how she treated Will when things started to get complicated. He was ambushed by her ex and her mother and she didn't even apologize for the position that put him in. Also, how awful were Serena's ex and parents? They all treat her horribly and as though she is worth nothing except as a mother and wife. I kind of wish she had had it out with her mother at some point, but that wasn't really the focus of the story. And of course, the always present reminder that when characters just talk with one another they could avoid a lot of their problems - the big talk between these two was sweet and showed just how much Will really did believe in her.

Another festive romance by Leslie North. I enjoyed the first two in this series and this was no exception, a fast paced loved story bundled into a short and sweet Christmas read

A complimentary copy of this book was received in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
A single mom of twins finds herself unemployed and the butt of her family's inadequacies. She should be home with her kids and not try to make a way for herself and her kids. Her ex-husband is a cheating manipulator and she finally is able to breathe when she meets the handsome vet from her past.
This book takes you on her journey of self-assessment and discovery that concludes in a happy ending.

The third book in this series is a nice touch to complete the happiness of the Harvey family. It brings the good feelings of the Christmas festivities.

Will has a stroke of luck when he literally bumps into Serena. She is his school crush, now divorced and striving to keep her home and give her twins a decent life. She hasn't been lucky in holding a job, and it just so happens that Will is looking for a receptionist. Is she the ideal candidate?

I like the interactions between the brothers. Will and Serena complement each other very well. Luna adds that extra joy to the story. It's a pleasing end to this trilogy. Love the family vibes.

I received an eARC from Netgalley and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the third in a series, but reads well as a stand alone. This is Will and Serena's story. I liked them both. Will is amazingly supportive of Serena-who by the way is a super klutz. Likeable though. Will should communicate better with his family. He didn't want to bother them. For me, family is for those times. The story is sweet. I enjoyed it. 3 stars

For a minute there I did not like Serena. The way she acted and treated Will when things got confusing was something that a guy would usually do. She redeemed herself so all is good. Will is wonderful, I love vet stories and books about animals.
