Audiobook.
The quokkas Christmas quest by J. MaCpherson.
Rotto!, Book 4.
Narrated by Aimee Horne.
When Santa crashes his sleigh on Christmas Eve, some of his presents are scattered along a beach. It's up to Clancy and Cobba, a couple of local quokkas, to find the owners of the presents and deliver them before Christmas morning. A challenging task is made even more difficult when other inhabitants of Rottnest Island find out about the quest, and are keen to get their hands on the gifts.
I loved listening to this audiobook. I loved the narrators voice. 5*.

When Santa and his reindeer crash his sleigh into a whale and scatter presents on Rottnest Island Beach, our adorable Quokkas help him gather the gifts so that he can be on his way. However, after Santa is gone they discover there are some Christmas presents left on the beach. Clancy and Cobba set out to deliver the gifts.
Truly an adorable Christmas story and narrator Aimee Horne does a delightful job in performing the characters.

Clancy and Cobba's adventures while delivering stray Christmas presents are full of Christmas magic!
I loved this adorable story, and I'm far from the target age group for it. Aimee Horne did a great job as the narrator and I couldn't help but picture the scenes as she read them aloud. I would love to see this story turned into an animated short!
The story did occasionally feel like a travel advertisement but I didn't even mind. Clearly J. Macpherson has a lot of love for Rottnest Island that comes through in the story, and I would love to see the island in person someday. Who can help but fall in love with quokkas?

Format: audiobook
Author: Jonathan Macpherson ~ Title: The Quokkas' Christmas Quest ~ Narrator: Aimee Horne
Content: 4.5 stars ~ Narration: 5 stars

Christmas adventure from Australia. So no snow here, but we have two little quokkas that go for a swim on Christmas eve. Something different for this year’s Christmas story.

Two quokkas, Clancy and Cobba, see Santa ride his sleigh on Christmas eve. But he has a minor accident, and the presents are scattered all over. Santa collects most of them, but a few are left behind. Clancy and Cobba make a quest to deliver the presents themselves.

This is a cute fable for children, perfect for this part of the year when Christmas is near. The story holds an important message: you can do it if you believe in yourself. Narration by Aimee Horne is excellent. Children will love it!

Thanks to JFM Books for the ARC and the opportunity to listen to this! All opinions are my own.

Well we will definitely be buying this from audible because my 5 year old and two year old have not stopped listening to it. In the car, in the playroom, at bed time and quite frankly I'd really like my phone back!

The Quokkas Christmas Quest was an adorable Christmas adventure of two Quokka friends who happen across Santa and his sleigh on Christmas Eve. The audio version was opened to me on NetGalley for review and I have to say that I loved this story. The friendship between the two main characters is adorable.

I had never heard of a Quokka before. After listening to this story I looked up some information about them and the children's novel is filled with fact as well as fiction. There is much to learn about Quokkas, Rottnest Island and Australia in this Christmas adventure.

The narrator was fantastic. I listened to the audiobook twice and got more from the story the second time. The narrator is clear, fun and enthusiastic. A good narrator can make an audiobook so enjoyable and the narrator for The Quokkas' Christmas Quest is outstanding.

I would definitely recommend this audiobook. The story is magical. I can see it as a fun, educational and entertaining adventure for a family to listen to together this Christmas!

The audiobook edition was not yet available as an edition choice on Goodreads.

Happy Holidays.

***AUDIO BOOK VERSION***
The Quokkas Christmas Quest is a hilarious children's book that I absolutely loved.
This enjoyable story is about Clancy and Cobba - two best friends, who have an exciting Christmas eve.
Clancy and Cobba meet Santa but as Santa leaves, presents fall off his sleigh. The two friends end up with a challenge to get the presents to the correct recipients before they wake up in the morning.
Throw in some danger, risk taking, bravery and laughs and this tale embeds itself into your heart.
I loved every second of this audio book and can't wait to share it with my child very soon.

The Quokkas Christmas Quest is a tale about two quokkas, Clancy and Cobba, who encounter Santa on Christmas Eve and then endeavor to help him deliver Christmas presents. The narration is very animated with humorous little kid voices for the quokkas, a wallaby breed, which will keep very young children engaged. The audiobook clocks in at about an hour and a half, which seems a little long for the intended audience, but it is divided into chapters so would be easy to listen to in smaller increments if needed. It would also be a wonderful option to play for antsy children during holiday travels.
