I love Jenny Colgan and I'm excited to read and review the first book in this new series, At the Cupcake Cafe. Issy learned to bake as a little girl living with her Grandfather and working in his bakeries. When she's fired from the real estate office where her "boyfriend" is manager she decides to use her payout and open a bakery. With her ailing grandfather writing his recipes from the nursing home, she finds a building and starts to make a successful entry into the business world. Of course things don't go completely smooth and as with all Jenny Colgan books, love will prevail. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
