This book was sent to me electronically for review by Netgalley. Grab a warm, cuddly afghan, a cup of steaming tea, and a delicious scone...settle into a comfortable chair for an enjoyable read. I like this author. I like this book. Usually, the different time periods annoy me...not in this instance...going back in time was my favorite part of this book. This author has woven the two time periods in a fantastic way. I could NOT put this book down. One of the best I have read lately...family...sisters...romance...mystery...pain...suffering...happiness...sadness...forgiving...all of these themes run throughout this story...one that is difficult to put down. Give yourself plenty of time to read...you won't want to stop.

Daisy is Lillian's little sister and has a crush on her sister's boyfriend Brendan. Brendan is ready to ship out for war and Lillian is begging him to wed her, but he decides waiting until he gets home is better. Lillian is livid (a bit spoiled and bratty if you ask me) gives him the cold shoulder. Brendan goes out with friends to the Starlight to dance and ends up drinking (something he doesn't do), but he is upset with Lillian. Daisy sees his condition as she is also there and gets his keys and they drive to a spot and before they know it he has taken advantage of her. He is speaking Lillian's name and Daisy is so ashamed. But of course your sin will find you out and Daisy ends up pregnant. How can she deal with this and not tell her sister. Daisy confides in Troy their friend and next door neighbor and he recommends that they wed and he can help raise her son. Brendan is off and war and ends up missing in action. Daisy finally agrees to marry Troy (they are just friends). can love ensue between them.

This is a really good book and I enjoyed reading it. Love, forgiveness, unforgiveness, betrayal, sin, and so much more in this great read. Thank you publishers for allowing me to review this for my honest opinion.

I’ll Be Seeing You by Robin Lee Hatcher is a time-slip novel between World War II and the present day, which is why I was interested in reading this story. I love World War II novels. While the writing was fabulous, I had a little bit of issue with the plot. This story was 100% predictable. 100% been done before. Nothing original. I have read a number of stories where the same incident that happened to Daisy, the heroine from the past timeline, have occurred to a number of different people. Nothing new there. Whereas, the present-day story is a tale of protecting your heart just a mirror image of the World War II story. Also, a repetitive storyline that has been written a number of times. While these glaring issues stood out to me, I enjoyed Hatcher’s ability to write a captivity story that did keep my attention as I sped through the story. Overall, I’ll Be Seeing You by Robin Lee Hatcher is a feel-good story about protecting your heart and being careful with it, but the plot was not original and has been written a number of times over.

I received a complimentary copy of I’ll Be Seeing You by Robin Lee Hatcher from Thomas Nelson Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

This is an excellent story about God's forgiveness.
I will admit I almost didn't finish this book, more than once. But I always finish a book I start,. I am so glad I did. I felt like there was a lot of deception going on within the story and it made me uncomfortable. I could not see how all this lieing could possibly have a happy ending.

This boOk is a teaching book and everyone male or female will enjoy it .

Thank you Thomas Nelson--FICTION, and Netgalley for allowing me to read this book for an honest review.

A well written dual time line novel. Ms. Hatcher weaves the WWII and present day plots seamlessly. I throughly enjoyed this book. My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my advance ebook. This is my unbiased review.

I'll Be Seeing You is a great clean romance to read. I loved reading Brianna's story. I am giving it five plus stars.

I've started this review several times and certainly don't want to give the story away before you have a chance to read it! The characters are warm and loving, there is definitely a lesson or two learned, and I hated having the book end.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This book was not only very interesting and held my attention until the very end. It was simply amazing.
The content was the past about 80 years ago entwined with the present - mix of memories of a great-grandmother as well as the actual life of her and her great-granddaughter Brianna.

For her school project Brianna has to interview the oldest member of her family and make a presentation about that time when the member was as old as the student self.
As the oldest member, Daisy- Brianna´s great-grandmother, was about Brianna´s age right when WWII had started. They talk about Daisy´s troubles, about the troubles of citizens then, about shortages and rates, but also about Daisy's life.
Daisy has had a nice and fulfilled life accompanied by religious faith, yet as a young woman she made a mistake that she wanted Brianna to avoid. Will Daisy be able to save Brianna from making the same mistakes?
This book was an amazing journey through Daisy´s deep thoughts and also a final understanding of some verses from the Holy Bible, which wasn´t understood until her old age.
The whole book was written with passion and was easy to read.

I’ll be seeing you by Robin Lee Hatcher is a fantastic read. This is a must!!! Daisy and her sister Lillian live in Idaho just as WWII starts. Daisy also shows up in present day as 98 years old along with her great granddaughter Brianna.

A wonderful Christian romance! Brianna is working on a history assignment that involves interviewing her grandma. The interviews reveal much about her family history and God's mercies. The storyline also deals with Brianna's own romantic relationships., I always enjoy reading Robin Lee Hatcher's books.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Robin Lee Hatcher books have been hit or miss for me, and lately they had been a miss. But not this one. And I think it was due in part to the dual time stories and the WWII aspect. I finsihed it one day. Because I had to know what happened for both heroines.

This is an amazing story of love, loss and growth. I loved how the story would showcase two storylines and then meet up at the end. It was a story that I won't soon forget.

Christian romance is my favorite genre of book to read. Robin Lee Hatcher is a very talented writer and I so enjoy her novels. I'll Be Seeing You has a duel time-line of WWII and present day. Brianna Hastings is a college student who is given an assignment in her history class of interviewing her oldest relative. It will count for 50% of her grade. Her Great-grandmother Daisy or “GeeGee” is 98 years young and she is who Brianna will interview. GeeGee is my favorite character in this story. She was loving, intelligent and a very wise Christian lady. Not everyone in the story is as nice or wise as Great-grandma. There were a few of the characters you will dislike and find hard to tolerate, but that is part of what makes the story exciting. There is family, grief, growth, romance and true love in this story.
I want to thank Thomas Nelson through NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this book. The opinions in the review are my own

Great book! Highly recommend!
This is the kind of book that I don't want to end. I cared about the characters, past and present. I wondered what would happen next when I wasn't able to read.
Daisy, of course, was my favorite person in the book. She went through so much, lots of it brought on herself. I just wanted her to be happy.
This book will be highly recommended to the patrons at my library.
Thank you NetGalley for the arc.

Brianna Hastings is given a History assignment to interview the oldest member of her family. Daisy is her great grandmother and shares about her life and all that she went through. The good and bad. There are family secrets, long since buried that come to light.

I have not enjoyed some of the split time novels of late. But Robin Hatcher's writing is seamless and intriguing. I was drawn in to the story from the start. Robin makes it interesting and you just keep reading. This is a Christian fiction, but there were scenes where a young impressionable girl is caught up in a bad situation. These mistakes, made in youth with long lasting consequences, brings warnings from Daisy to Brianna.

There is some romance, heart breaking situations, grief, and reconciliations. All in all it is a good story written with care and an element of faith that brings forgiveness to self and others.

I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I wanted to start 2022 with a good read, and this is it! Robin Lee Hatcher is an excellent Christian author, and she has written another good book! In "I'll Be Seeing You", college aged student Brianna has an assignment from her History professor: interview an older person and listen to their life story. Brianna chooses to interview her great-grandmother, and is quickly swept away by her stories of World War 2 and the man she had her eye on. Daisy (her great-grandmother) shares about some poor choices she made which led to heartbreaking consequences but also a surer view of the unconditional love of God. Brianna starts to see that she is following down the same unwise path, and learns that she needs to make changes to her beliefs and behaviors.

I enjoyed how the author seamlessly blended present day themes with Daisy's memories, and appreciated the way Biblical lessons were weaved throughout the story. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

I’ll Be Seeing You is much more than a romance novel. Robin Lee Hatcher beautifully laced in stories about mercy, grace and forgiveness as she told Daisy’s story.
When Daisy was a young adult, she made a mistake that she had to live with. Her neighbor, Todd, proposes marriage and shows her what it means to love. Daisy had to learn lessons the hard way, but she was able to use her life experiences to guide her great granddaughter, Brianna, and learn what true love looks like. She also discovered God’s unconditional love that she was able to share with others.
A well written novel that alternated between the 1940s/World War II and present day. The storylines weave together to tell a beautiful story of so many lives.

Robin Lee Hatcher books are comfortable to me. She has a fantastic style, you kind of know what to expect, not much of a big surprise - it's comforting. It's a bit religious, but not off putting - I don't feel preached at, just nudged.

This is a two part story - Brianna in the current day and Daisy in the past. Daisy is Brianna's great-grandmother. A history project has Brianna interviewing Daisy and learning all kinds of family secrets, as well as questioning her own decisions and beliefs.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.
