This was a very good book. I could not put it down and read it in one sitting! I had to know what would happen. I would definitely recommend this book.

In times of adversity, the weight of powerlessness can be incredibly distressing, as Lily Carson knows all too well. Seeking control amidst the chaos, Lily guards a monumental secret—a secret that serves as a shield not just for herself but also for her child and their future. The second installment of the Carson siblings' trilogy unfolds a compelling narrative, revealing the aftermath of a harrowing incident on their property one foggy night. The three siblings, Olivia, Lily, and Lucas, each carry distinct perspectives on the traumatic event, shaping their paths into adulthood. Lonsdale skillfully employs this trilogy format, offering readers diverse viewpoints, progressively broadening the lens through which the family tragedy is examined.

Book two captivates with its multifaceted exploration of family dysfunction, suspense, tension, drama, romance, and unforeseen twists. Its brisk pace makes it challenging to set aside, pulling readers into the tumultuous world of this fractured family. As the narrative unfolds, I found myself entrapped in the perpetual nightmare, captivated and astonished. Lonsdale's well-rounded characters provide insight into the diverse impact of events, creating an immersive experience. Despite possessing fragments of the story from Olivia's perspective in the first book, I remained invested in Lily's journey and eagerly anticipate discovering Lucas Carson's contribution in the upcoming conclusion, "No More Secrets," slated for publication in March 2023.

“They looked like Seaside Cove royalty, exactly the image Charlotte strove to portray. If people only knew…” 😯

You guys I’ve taken this book with me on vacation TWICE! TWICE! It’s that good! ! No More Lies is book 2 in the No More Series and it picks up exactly where Book 1, No More Words left off, continuing the story of the Carson Family. A seemingly perfect family except for the murders and mysterious disappearance of the youngest daughter Lilly. On the run for years with her son Josh, Lilly, now Jenna, has carefully created a life for the two of them, even staying long enough in one place to begin to build a future but all it takes is a nosey reporter and a few questions for her past to come knocking on her door. When Josh disappears, Jenna’s world turns upside down and she will do everything to find him and keep her past from hurting him even if the truth comes out.
This is such a great series and out just in time to toss in your beach bag and get lost between the pages this summer!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review.

Unfortunately this is another DNF read for me. I was a big fan of Lonsdale books before the No More series. I had dnf the first of this series as well. I just can not connect with the characters or handle the events of the story.

So sorry but thanks for giving me the opportunity to try.

Multiple perspectives and timelines, second book in a series. Lily was a sympathetic character, especially as a mother myself. I can't imagine the despair and fear of having a missing child. There are secrets exposed, all the usual ingredients of a mystery story, but it's the emotional aspect that drew me in.

Thank you to my partners, NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing, and the author, Kerry Lonsdale. I appreciate the gifted ecopy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily!

Kerry Lonsdale quickly became a favorite of mine after reading Side Trip. The No More series has only proven that she should be!

1. Growing Up - Jenna’s life growing up was incredibly sad. We see inside her childhood and feel the intense sadness that Dwight and Caroline forced upon her. For her son, Josh, she has tried her utmost to make his better.

2. A Mother’s Anguish - I could literally feel the pain and uncertainty with Jenna and her love for Josh. I know the feeling that a mother will do anything they can to protect their children 💕

3. Found Family - Man, do I love a story with an amazing group of people who have become the family that a character has always deserved. From the first people Lily comes in contact with when her life takes its turn to the people she has now as Jenna, she couldn’t deserve them anymore!

4. Grief - It is such a tricky thing, grief. For some, it is simply a deep sadness. For others, it drives them to insanity.

5. A Lifetime Of A Misunderstanding - Did she or didn’t she? Never once did I believe that Lily did comment the crime that she thinks she did. It was a horrible accident and it all stemmed directly from her father, Dwight, and his continued manipulation. You will have to see if you few the same way I did!

Olivia, the oldest of three children, lives a life where she trusts no one. Suddenly, her nephew Josh, who she has never met, shows up on her doorstep and her estranged sister Lily is missing.

I’m happy to see this is the fist in a trilogy since there were some items left open ended. It looks like more of Lily’s story will be revealed in the next book.

A somewhat quick read - Olivia was a bit immature and there were some moments / phrasing that wasn’t necessary and could easily be removed.

Lily/Jenna has had such a difficult life on the run separated from her siblings. Her bright spot is her son Josh. I can't imagine my child going missing so this book is especially emotional from a mother's point of view. I love Lily's tenacity in searching for Josh and how that brings about a touching reunion. The secrets and lies are piling up and once again the twists are breathtakingly fast and shocking. I'm loving this series and the differing perspectives between the siblings.

This second book in a series of three can definitely be read as a stand alone. Great psychological mystery. Told from multiple POV.,, past and present. The main character has been in hiding for many years, even changed her name. It all ties together in the ending chapters of the book. Many twists. Can't wait for the third book in the trilogy.

An amazing read, and a fantastic continuation of the No More series. This time we get Jenna's story and it just broke my heart. She tries so hard to be a good mom for her son Josh, and tries to do all the right things. Then she lets her guard down, trouble arises, and Josh vanishes. What follows is classic Lonsdale, gripping our hearts with suspense and care for the characters we have come to love so well.

I received an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Aaaah, tantas coisas.

Espero que leiam!

No More Lies is Book 2 of 3, which starts with No More Words. Lies can be read as a standalone but I am glad I started with the first. Lonsdale is a good author and I love reading her books. Make time to read this in one sitting as it will be hard to put down! I truly enjoyed finding out more about Jenna and her son with all of their love, panics and resolutions.
Thanks to #NetGalley and#Lake Union Publishing for this book. On to book 3!

The second installment of Lonsdale’s latest series was another suspenseful thrill-ride that proved nearly impossible to put down.

She has such a knack for writing complex and layered characters who keep you guessing as to their true motives all the way through to the last page. Lonsdale has long been an auto-read author for me and she further cemented her position with this book. I will be anxiously awaiting the conclusion to the saga of the Carson siblings.

Thank you to Lake Union Publishing for the advance reading copy.

I've enjoyed several of this author's books. This is the second in a series and quite good.

This book picks up where NO MORE WORDS left off. It's a very well written book and keeps you turning the pages. It will have you holding your breath throughout. Lots of great twists and turns. Kerry Lonsdale writes book that make you want more. Leave you guessing in places and wanting to scream in other places.

This book has plenty of ups and downs. Plenty of oh no moments and lots of family moments also. If you enjoyed her first book this one is a must. I recommend you read No More Words first so you know what is actually going on and maybe why. You will love this author's work.

Thank you #NetGalley for this ARC. This is my own true thoughts.

5 stars and a very high recommendation.

Lonsdale's writing continues to improve with each book she writes. I came to this book amid a fiction reading slump and within pages, I was engaged with both character and plot. While readers a little bit know some of this book, it reads as something more layered and developed than one might expect. I cannot wait to read the last of this series.

I loved the first in this series, but I didn't connect to the second one as much. I will still keep reading Kerry's books, though, as I normally love her books!

I loved this and couldn't put it down. This needs to be read in one sitting - so you need to make sure you can. Can't wait to read more of Kerry Lonsdale - I am now going through the archive as this was my first time reading and I now love this author.

Book 2 in the NO More series by Kerry Lonsdale one of my favorite authors. If you have favorite authors like I do, you might relate. I was skeptical book two could be better than book one but I think it is. This is the story of a life created out of a teenage love affair and the spiral of lies and decisions made. Jenna Mason needs to keep her son, Josh, safe. At 16 she runs away and starts a new life. Although you could read this as a stand-alone I would recommend reading NO MORE WORDS first.

I received an eARC from NetGalley and the publisher for a review of this book.

This was book 2 of a series but can be read as as standalone. I had not read the prior book. Overall it was an OK book but not great. The storyline and situations seemed quite farfetched and I really didn't like the main character so wasn't invested in her situation. I found her rather whiny. So, it was just ok.
