Love the variety of recipes in the book, and how indulgent they all are (well, of course, Nutella is so indulgent). Can't wait to try them out!

Thank you NetGalley, the publisher, and the author, for the opportunity to read and give an honest review of this book.

I am always interested in cookbooks, specially baking ones. The other thing involving baking, that interests me, is baking shows. This can be Holiday Baking Shows or the Great British Baking Shows.

Many of the recipes in this book involve European baking styles and techniques, many of which I have only seen in baking shows or competitions. All involve Nutella as an ingredient. If you aren’t familiar with Nutella, it is a deliciously, popular, chocolate/hazelnut spread.

There are a nice variety of tasty recipes from the simple to the more complex. There is something to suit every baker, novice to expert. The photos are helpful and appetizing. The instructions are adequate enough to bring you baking success.

Every home baker could benefit from having this cookbook in their library.

Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth or anyone who wants to discover more ways to enjoy the indulgent goodness that is Nutella besides on toast! The recipes are all organized into different sections, so whatever you’re looking to create with Nutella is relatively easy to find in the cook book. I think it’s fun that it’s a branded book, and look forward to trying some of the recipes myself!

Nutella has always been a firm favourite in our house, but I didn’t realise how versatile it is. This is a great book including a short history of Nutella and sixty recipes. The recipes are divided into five sections: basic cake and pastry; classic recipes e.g. Nutella banoffee pie; cookies and small cakes; choux pastry, and desserts. There is a tempting photo of each recipe and clear instructions. I think this will make a very useful addition to a cook book shelf! Thank you to Gregory Cohen, NetGalley and White Lion Publishing for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

What a fun cookbook! Some simple recipes, and some super complex ones in here, but all well written, beautifully styled and photographed. Since my kids are obsessed with Nutella, and my oldest is also obsessed with Great British Baking Show, this is going to be a last minute holiday gift for her. Can't wait to give some of these a go.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC, in exchange for my honest review.

This is a cookbook with great production values - but it is weirdly "elitist" in its choice of recipes.

As a friend pointed out to me, Nutella fans probably aren't very sophisticated foodies in general (which is not meant to be an insult - I count myself in that group). And yet, the vast majority of recipes in this book are very technical and require various bits of specialist kit like madeleine trays and financier moulds. And frankly, I think it's a crime that there isn't a single cookie or cheesecake recipe.

I have made and enjoyed the Nutella apple crumble recipe, and I plan to do one or two others from the book, but I'm not even going to attempt the rest.

This is a great cook book featuring Nutella as the star of 60 recipes. It begins with a brief history, it was almost called Nusscrem. The recipes are broken into sections; Basics, Classics, Cookies & Small Cakes, Choux Pastry and Desserts for Guests. The photos are pretty and very help to see how the finished product should look. The publisher is from England so it isn't surprising to find the measurements are given in grams but have conversions so you don't have to make your own calculations. I feel I could do justice to some of the simpler sponge cakes and puff pastry. Other recipes get a little fancier but I still might give them a try. This is a fun cookbook using a product that has a lot of versatility. Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - White Lion for a temporary eARC in exchange for an honest review.

When I was a college junior, I spent a semester in England. While there, I was introduced to both Marmite and Nutella. Nutella won hands down. I still have a nostalgic love for this spread.

So, I was happy to have a chance to look at a cookbook featuring this delicious ingredient. It was a delightful experience. I am sure that Nutella lovers and others will want to give some of these recipes a try. Just a few of those included are Nutella tiramisu, Nutella tarte tatin, Nutella truffles, Nutella profiteroles and Nutella opera cake. By now, you should know if this book is for you. It is for me.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. It is well illustrated and clear in its directions. The photos of the completed recipes made my mouth water.

All opinions above are my own.

Absolutely loved it - and not because it's Nutella.
I don't need Nutella in my life - branded or no-name, but the book in itself is brilliant for a few reasons:
1. It has pictures for every single recipe and they make you want to try to make it all. They also allow you to see how something should look when it is finished, which helps inexperienced bakers like me know what to aim for (and check the consistency and colour).
2. The book starts with simple recipes for basic doughs which aren't dumbed down but easy to understand step by step recipes without any add-ons (yet).
3. So many recipes seem easily achievable and others I could work my way up to.

In the end, it doesn't matter if it's Nutella, a no-name, a nut-free version of a spread, I made some with peanut butter - as long as the consistency is more or less the same you can give it a try.

Nutella: 60 Classic Recipes by Gregory Cohen has a massive selection of all things Nutella. Old school recipes are given an added kick with help of the chocolate spread and the results are incredible. Featuring some mouthwatering photos this has all you would need for a cookbook.

Not a cookbook for beginners....one might assume a nutella cookbook is one for beginners - add a jar of nutella to this recipe, make rice krispie treats with some nutella - easy, kid friendly, bake sale favourites. This cookbook threw all my expectations out of the water with some amazing looking recipes on the higher end of the difficulty scale, that just happen to make nutella the star of the show. I love that the cookbook starts with an introduction to all the basic recipes we'll use in the cookbook - from a basic sponge cake to macaron shells and pastries. Then the book continues to build on these. I can't wait to make more from this little cookbook!

Wow! A great dessert cookbook with beautiful images! This would be a great gift for the chocolate lover in your life. A lot of the recipes remind me of technical challenges from The Great British Bakeoff! The best part of the cookbook was the mouthwatering depictions of the Nutella desserts you can make. A great addition was the instructions for basic techniques. Normally most cookbooks contain this, but this one contained detailed steps as well as images. The instructions in the cookbook are clear, though the recipes are probably too sophisticated for a novice baker. I also liked the clear sections of classics, cookies and cakes, choux, and desserts. I will definitely try to makes one of the macaron recipes and the souffle!

My daughter is a certified Nutella addict, so I jumped at the check this book out. The recipes are clearly written and easy to follow. I was hoping to find more recipes that incorporated Nutella rather than just slather it on on the top or in the middle of something.. This is good book if you don;t know what to do with Nutella and need a place to start. My thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This cookbook blew me away! I read it because we love Nutella and I thought it would be some cute recipes adding Nutella. I was so wrong. The recipes are complex flavors and technically challenging (in a great way. I mean it’s not a kitschy Nutella cookbook). I’ve always struggled with Shortcrust pastry and Choux and the author broke it down so wonderfully (and with pictures) I can’t wait to try. He also shows how to make your own puff pastry! I didn’t even know you could! All that’s just in the basics. The rest of the book is just as amazing. I mean Nutella Tiramisu! Wow!

🍫 Arc Review 🍫

I received an ARC from Quarto Publishing Group – White Lion and NetGalley in exchange for a review.

Title: Nutella: 60 Classic Recipes: From simple, family treats to delicious cakes & desserts: Official Cookbook
Author: Grégory Cohen
Rating: 4/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐
Release Date: 30 Nov 2021

Ok, this was seriously the most fun I have had looking through a cookbook in a long time. Everything in here, to die for from looks and ingredients alone. My whole family absolutely loves Nutella so when I saw this cookbook I knew I had to check it out, it looks amazing.

I was recently looking through some old cookbooks that were sponsored by brands which this book reminded me of so I went into it with very positive feelings. I love how it opens with a brief history of Nutella. I never knew this stuff and I thought it was really cool to learn. I also love the arrangement of this book. It is arranged in ascending difficulty of recipes so the simple stuff is at the begging and the complex French pastries are at the end. I love this because you can gauge how far you’ve grown as a baker by how far into the book you can bake.

Some of my favorite recipes from the books would have to be the poached pears with Nutella centers and the apple Nutella crumble. I feel like I could definitely try and makes these and they would be delicious.

This was overall a really fun cookbook that I am sure all Nutella lovers would be stoked to see. I highly recommend it to those hazelnut-loving people in your life.

This was a fun filled interesting book! I have many family members who are Nutella fans. I can not wait to make some of the recipes in this book to show them all the things Nutella can do.
Reading about how Nutella became Nutella was something I did not know. I was so impressed with the photos in this book. They were fantastic and added so much for me to the book. They made me want to get in the kitchen and bake.
The recipes are a mix of easy to a bit harder to make but a Nutella fan is going to want to try them all.
This is a book for anyone who loves Nutella to add to their collection. It will make a fantastic gift for the holidays.
Thank you NetGalley, Gregory Cohen and Quarto Publishing Group for this copy. This is my personal review.
