This book has so many feelings. I so wanted to kick Silas for Maggie. I understand her more then I should admit. Silas is so good for her. I need a Silas. For him to show me it's ok to open up. And the family. I'd love to have his family.

This is a wonderful book about interpersonal relationships, family and personal growth. It was refreshing to have a hero like Silas who truly fell in love at first sight and worked to make an emotionally stunted heroine, Maggie, see that they belong together. The characters, and there are many, are interconnected and well developed, and very believable. Plus add in an ongoing mystery beyond what Maggie personally had going on, it was truly an interesting and unexpected storyline. A special thank you to Lucy Score for including the last 4 pages of the book!

Maggie Moves On is another wonderful story by Lucy Score. She encompasses small town life with rich, entertaining characters. I love that Maggie was the pragmatic character while Sy was the romantic. The dynamic between Maggie and Dean was funny and sweet, but also pulled on the heartstrings. I think a lot of people can relate to Maggie, as we often are searching for something without knowing it. Hopefully, we are all as lucky as Maggie, to be surrounded by a strong support system. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good laugh, a good romance, and a bit of mystery.

Another win for Lucy!
This book has a little of every emotion possible. A dose of humor, a pinch of mystery, and another lovable cast of characters filled the pages and i couldn’t put it down.

I was easily lost in Kinship, and now I want to go visit.
And hug Kevin ;)

As a fan of home makeover shows, this book grabbed me from the start. Maggie is a YouTube star for her pattern of doing renovations and moving on to the next challenge. Meeting Silas and the development of their relationship creates the conflict- can she really move on at the end of this project? The characters are so well rounded out that I felt like I knew them and was rooting for each one of them. I loved the snappy dialogue and cast of characters included in the story. I enjoyed all of the twists in the story as we learned more about Maggie and the house (and the original owners). The book is well written and edited, and I really recommend it!

Lucy Score does it again. In all honesty, one of my favorite things about Lucy Score books is how FUN they are, and “Maggie Moves On” doesn’t disappoint! Following Maggie and Sy from Meet Cute to conclusion is a delightful ride filled with sweetness, humor, delicious flirting, toe-curling heat, and Kevin the bulldog. This will go on my “Reread when I’ve had a rough day and need a soft spot to land” shelf. Absolutely delightful!

Another enjoyable read from Lucy Score!

A competent, capable heroine; a smart, sexy, head-over-heels hero; good families; found families; family drama; a mystery; sexy times; and people figuring things out after life throws them for a loop.

It's a girthy read - but worth it.

Maggie flips houses for her popular YouTube channel show. Silas is a miracle-working landscaper who digs the challenge of Maggie AND the Old Campbell Place.

Loved the callbacks to previous books (Vicky from Rock Bottom Girl!!)

Kinship sounds like a really great place.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing the ARC for this review, which is entirely my own opinion.

I had so much fun reading this story. I’ve read several books by this author and enjoyed them all, so I had no problems going into this one blind.Maggie and Silas are so endearing like their romance. If you’re in the mood for a low angst, high humor, quirky kind of romance, then look no further.

ARC kindly provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Let me begin by saying I received an ARC copy through NetGalley (thank you!) I fell in love with the Silas, the hot landscaper and Maggie the self sufficient rehabber. Lucy Score is one of my favorite authors and she succeeded in writing another FANTASIC book. I loved it and see the potential for a whole series. We need another series like Blue Moon. Love ya Lucy.

Maggie Moves On was such a great book. I really enjoyed it!

The main characters Silas and Maggie were easy to fall in love with. As much as I liked their romance I really enjoyed the side characters story’s as well and I mean Kevin was definitely one of my favorite characters. I loved the small town and could really imagine living there.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book.

Lovely read. This is less angst-y than some of her other novels but that's actually one of the things I enjoyed most about it.

The setting in a small town in Idaho was very refreshing. Not only did I fall in love with the couple, but I fell for the whole town.

Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score is a great contemporary romance that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I loved everything about this book. The location of Kinship, Idaho is cute, unique, and Idaho is a totally underused gem of a backdrop for this adorable romance.

Maggie, with her commitment issues, fear of rejection, a past, and DIY- renovation talents shows up for her next project. Her plan to renovate, record, succeed, and move on is thwarted by the extremely handsome, sassy, lovable, and at times halfway dressed landscaper Silas. Pair that with his adorable canine, and his uncanny ability to disarm and frustratingly charm Maggie…and you have got yourself a great book.

I loved the character cast, the location, the plot and pacing, the chemistry, the dialogue and banter, the humor, the romance, the progression of the characters, and the wonderful ending. Just perfect.

5/5 stars

Maggie Moves On was such a sweet (sometimes steamy) book. I really enjoyed it! I was immediately drawn in by the premise of an HGTVesque romance and thought it was done really well! I loved seeing all the behind the scenes moments behind the renovations.

The main characters Silas and Maggie were charming and easy to care about. As much as I liked their romance I think I may have loved the found family element of the story even more. As someone who has struggled with her own family her whole life, it was really lovely to see Maggie fall in love with Silas, Kinship and the whole town. Their warm acceptance of her was wonderful and I’m glad she finally let herself tear down those walls. All of the supporting characters contributed to the story nicely and didn’t just exist to move the plot along. I loved the setting and could really imagine life in the small town. I loved Kevin and the kittens, too!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Forever for an advanced copy of this book. I can’t wait to check out more by this author.

I really liked this book-- thank you to NetGalley and Grand Central Publishing for allowing me an ARC to provide this review! The plot wasn't predictable, and Maggie was a complex character with a past that clung to her like armor. It took Silas, our determined hero, to help her move on from being a self-proclaimed "tumbleweed", running from a settled life. The setting of Kinship, Idaho, was so sweet, with townspeople I would love to read about again, and a reality TV plotline that will make any HGTV fan happy. All of the details, including sweet little animals like a doggo named Kevin, were simply the perfect backdrop for a heart-seizing romance that had me truly rooting for these characters to have their HEA. I also loved that this wasn't necessarily a slow-burn and that I got to see a lot of the main couple together before the novel's very satisfying ending. The only reason this isn't five stars is because I did not love the epistolary bits at the ends of chapters, which is just my taste. Highly recommend checking this one out!

It was cute.

Here’s the thing about dual pov romances: they bore me! I hate knowing what the guy thinks. I want it to be full of yearning and suspense from the heroine’s side.

But anyway, this was still cute and fun
