Adorable, these are the cutest cookie designs I've ever seen. Great to flip through for inspiration as you're looking to impress friends, family, and colleagues at the next party! I'm only a beginner dessert decorator but these look like they would be doable and motivates me to practice! So cute.

Sweet Talk Cookies opens with the basics - types of icing, equipment needed, airbrushing techniques and even how to mix the colours you use for best effect. After these, the cookie decorating instructions are set out by theme - animal, food and occasion. There's even resources at the back which you can use as templates for you decorating. In short. this book has everything you need to take your cookies to the next level wow factor. Perfect for any kitchen and anyone with sweet tooth.

The book has beautiful images and ideas for sugar cookies. I loved the idea of the pop method, had never seen it before and I'm excited to try it. Also appreciated the instructions on how to mix colors to get unicorn poop. Thank you!

This is such a fun book! As a cookie myself I really enjoyed this one, and think it could be a great tool for anyone looking to up their cookie game. Great recipes and easy tutorials.

I don’t know if I’ve ever been more excited for a cookbook. We love making cookies but they are a little ehh looking if I’m being honest. This book has all sorts of designs and recipes for designing the cutest cookies. The author includes templates if your handwriting isn’t up for cookie decorating (raises hand). The pictures in this book are so beautiful and colorful!

This is a great book for people who are familiar with royal icing decorating of sugar cookies and want to develop new skills. There are some sugar cookie recipes in here, including some.fun flavors, and a recipe for royal icing. The majority of the book is step by step color photos of decorated cookies. Some are specialty shapes (sources are included for cutters), but techniques taught could be applied to other shapes. The book talks briefly about stenciling and airbrushing, which are included on some of the cookies. It also covers lettering, with templates in the back of the book.
Cookie designs are separated by animals, food, Christmas, other holidays, summer fun, and cool cookies. I liked how the designs were all colorful, and the book covered watercolor, rosettes, ombre, layered designs, and tie dye.
This is not a beginner book but has tons of great ideas broken down into manageable steps.

This is a master class in cookie decorating! There is great technical information for decorating techniques as well as basic cookie and icing recipes. A very useful guide to tools and supplies is also included, as is a lettering template.

The foundational information is great, but the real treat is all of the gorgeous design ideas! Grouped by holiday or occasion, there are tons of absolutely stunning designs with useful step-by-step directions and supply guides. Anyone would be thrilled and awed to receive such pretty cookies! Each cookie has a beautiful full-page photograph as well as smaller pictures of intermediate steps or techniques, so this book is incredibly helpful to have on hand. Things are explained so well that it actually seems possible to recreate these amazing works of art!

This is a cute and helpful book!

Callaway shares a sugar cookie recipe and decorating tips. There's a bit of helpful information at the front about different kinds of icing, shapes, and how long to wait to apply decorations.

The majority of the book is a guide to making cute cookies. The instructions are around decorating using royal icing to make various animals and other fun shapes for cookies. There's templates in the back for making different lettering which is helpful too.

Overall it requires some existing skill, but is a helpful guide for making beautiful cookies!
