Stanley Hastings attempts to make his living as a P.I. But the fates seem to be against him. Everytime he gets a job, he somehow messes it up. He's staking out a house to get the dirt on a cheating husband. But the husband isn't cheating--he's dead.
Stanley is accused of the crime and he breaks out of jail to find who did the deed for real.
