While I had high hopes for Is This For Real, somehow I just couldn't get into this.

The characters felt flat and the narrative seemed disjointed, coupled with a cliché storyline riddled with tropes. I'll forgive the cliché part in a rom com if I like the characters, but somehow this didn't make me fall in love with them.

Also, Rory having to ‘fake date’ to avoid his boss’s wife’s sexual advances was just awkward and made me supremely uncomfortable.
