I love true crime and especially when it reads like a fiction thriller. I had never even heard of this event. It made me wonder about other so-called crimes.

A good true crime book that covers the systemic roots of piracy and the maritime trade underpinning our global economy. Would recommend for true crime fans with an interest in something beyond the usual, or fans of Red Card by Ken Bensinger.

Fascinating story of skulduggery on the high seas. Nail biting tension at certain points, makes for a very interesting read. True courage on the part of some of the participants and tenacity from the detectives, uncovers the fraud at the heart of the story.
Highly recommended.

Not at all what I expected. I do feel there is a audience for this book. It is not for me. Thanks for the ARC of this book.

The cover and description of this book looked fantastic but I could not read this e-book as it was formatted so horribly.
