There was so much thrown at me and I was often confused and pulled out of the story. I think this needs some serious condensing. The writing style was grating as were the characters.

I wasn't a fan of the writing style and the plot was over convoluted. I think most of the blame is editing and paring down the story. I found the main characters annoying and therefore had no empathy for them.
