I was, unfortunately, unable to open the book in the format provided. Ugh! I reviewed the first book in this series and I really liked it, so I'll probably have to get my hands on this another way. Thank you so much for the opportunity!
I was a tiny bit less convinced by this volume. The first two chapters really confused me. I didn’t quite get what was happening. I enjoyed the other chapters. There are still many mysteries but it’s good. I really want to learn more about it. Some characters seem suspicious, I will keep my guard up.
🌱THE EXCELLENT
~ Blood magic
~ Damsel in a lot of distress (if you like that)
~ Fighting females in seggsy outfits (if you like that)
~ Kingdoms, Kings, Princes and Princesses
~ A curse with serious consequences
Ok, so, basically - there is this female that everyone seems to want, she has a sister (or two) and currently lives/studies at an academy. She is a princess who has been engaged to the prince of the Lumia Kingdom? - 🙈 For a number of years; HOWEVER, the ‘curse magic using’ Lapis Kingdom has been threatening the peace of Lumia, because a little boy with a mask said he would teach them about curse magic. TURNS OUT - This thousand plus year-old boy has wanted the main girl (Leticia? (Leticiel) / Dolores? 🤣 (Drossell) - and THIS L/D female has actually somewhat possessed the body of the OG Dolores. 🙈 L/D has powers to fight the miasma created by the cursed bodies and creatures roaming the land, and in this volume, she decides she will grow her power to help stop the suffering… good for her👏☺️ but she needs to find an Elemental - fairy like being - to help her.
No idea what the hell is happening - BUT I’ll check out the other volumes because I am curious 🤣✨Give it a read.
🌱THE MEH
~ Strange dialogues? (This female just seems confused 🤣)
~ Wearing high heels to a fight 😬
~ Switching between characters/locations is a bit odd
~ At this point many motivations appear to be unclear
♡🌱 But that’s just me ;)
Thank you for the opportunity to read volume 3, however when I downloaded it the pages did not load correctly and made it difficult to read.
From what I could figure out it seemed like it would be one I would really enjoy if I could though. Hopefully, later on I can give a better review and rating.
Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this.
In the Kindle version, which I read, unfortunately, the pages were jumbled and jumped from one scene to another, which didn't make sense, which made it really hard to follow and understand what was going on (e.g. jumping from a fight scene to a school like scene)
To give a more honest and proper review, I will purchase the manga and will leave a proper review on my Goodreads.
