The beginning of what is sure to be an action-packed sci-fi series. Truthfully, I am newer to the sci-fi genre so I'm still getting used to this concept of world-building at the beginning of novels and series. I liked the concept of this novel and I think it started off very promising, but I found that about halfway through the novel things got a bit complicated and chaotic with new characters, organizations, and events. Overall, the characters were interesting and unique, and I loved the queer romance blooming towards the end but, I may need to re-read this novel if I decide to continue with the series.

I requested this one because it might be an upcoming title I would like to review on my Youtube Channel. However, after reading the first several chapters I have determined that this book does not suit my tastes. So I decided to DNF this one.
