I must say, I’m really loving this series so far! It’s still got the awesomeness that makes me love this author, but she’s proven yet again that she has so much to offer in the way of slower burns, the pains that can come with life, and just how much family matters at the end of the day.
Everly needs a new start for her and her son, so she ends up at Blake’s business for a job. And imagine his surprise when she’s hired by his best friends and partners without his knowledge. Sure, he’s a bit of a jerk at first, but his reasons for that come out soon enough. And amazingly, he opens up to Everly before expecting her to do the same in return. And when he realizes just how much he wants her in his life, Blake makes sure Everly knows exactly what she and her son mean to him. Even with some worries on their minds, these two manage to communicate and find their way through it all to their forever together.
I adored the very real-feeling issues that Blake and Everly faced, as well as the peek of what may be in store for Maverick. And Margret. And Mason. I can’t wait for more of this series because I’m more than ready to spend some more time with this group!
Oh. Oh my, Aurora. Risky was... incredible and absolute perfection. It was sweet and romantic and FAMILY. Empowering and just inspiring. I fell so far into this story and when I finally came up for air, I was mad as hell my time in Montana was ending...again. I cannot wait for Maverick's story.
So so good- this is a heartwarming story of a single mother, Everly and her taciturn boss, Blake. I loved Everly, who was sweet and kind. But Blake really just stole my heart. He's a slightly grumpy hero who is so protective, loyal, and sweet and I adored how he came out of his shell. There was no unbelievable couple's conflict in this book, which I loved- just sweet communication and working as a team. This was a story that just made me feel good and a welcome escape from reality. I can't wait to go back to find more Adventures in Love!
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for an early copy. I cannot wait to relive this story in audiobook form!
Absolutely amazing read, I loved this book, everything about Blake and Everly was everything and more, the love and the chemistry, the storyline. It was just fantastic
This book is one of the reasons Aurora Rose Reynolds is an auto buy author for me.
Blake was the perfect grump and Everly was a light he didn't expect. We all know a grumpy hero has is reasons but Blake's were truly heartbreaking and I truly felt he deserved better than the situation he was forced into.
Everly in my opinion was her own hero, she shows her unconditional love for her son Sampson and the willingness to anything to show him that.
Aurora Rose Reynolds has a way of writing characters that you fall in love with and this books was no different. I can't wait to see what else the Live Life Adventure works shows us!
I 100% fell in love with Everly, Sampson and Blake! Amazingly well written characters who captured my attention and wouldn’t let go!
First of all, I love a good single mama story and this one did not disappoint. We meet Everly when she’s moved back home after leaving her baby daddy who wanted nothing to do with his son. What a you know what! She finds a job as an office manager and guess who’s her new boss? The hot man she met a few days ago! Heck ya!
While I loved this one, the only thing that bothered me was how would Sampson know to call Blake ‘da da da’? He had to of heard it somewhere… minor issue, it just bothered me throughout the story.
Overall, this story fully deserves 5 stars for being well written, enjoyable and relatable.
As soon as I saw this cover I added it to my tbr! Yes, this author is known for being extra insta-lovey, but that’s part of her charm. This was a sweet and sexy story and I am looking forward to more in this series!
I’m really enjoying this series. I liked this one even more than Rushed, Tanner and Cybil’s book. And who’d have thought I’d be won over by Mr Grumpy.
Everly is a great female character. She’s strong, compassionate and absolutely perfect for Blake.
Everly and her adorable son Sampson have moved back in with her parents. Sam’s dad wants nothing to do with either of them. So Everly packs up and starts her life afresh. She finds a job at Live Life Adventures and the rest as they say is history.
Blake is carrying a huge burden. He’s keeping a secret from his mum and sister and it’s eating away at him. But his life brightens when he meets Everly.
I’m really enjoying this series and I can’t wait for the next book which I’m assuming will belong to Maverick. Although I’m hoping Margret gets her own book because there’s an interesting story there.
I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the publisher and NetGalley.
Aurora Rose Reynolds is a go to Author for me, her book get me out of a reading or i can pick up one of her books when i need a nice little pick me up. Are her books insta lovey yes but it doesn't take away from the story or just sort of makes since that that's how it should be.
I will be picking up this book whenever I need a good laugh (Sampson is probably the most cutest baby i have ever read in story and he certainly played "cupid" for his mama with Blake.
I liked how Everly took charge and to be a voice for her son who at the moment can't defend himself.
I like Alpha Male Syndrome in my books i mean there over protective bossy and arrogant but i will say Blake is probably my second favorite character,. (my favorite character goes to Sampson).
If you love a strong female MC and you love the single parent trope please go read this the moment it comes out .
Omg another great book! This is one of my favorite authors! I've had the pleasure of meeting her and her lovely family at a few book signings and she is just a sweet as can be! Of course it was hot hot hot!! I highly recommend reading this book and series! Its well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
