This was a beautiful reading of the classic book by A. A. Milne. Thoroughly loved it and will share it with my younger students.

Winnie the Pooh is my favorite. Not only cute, but wonderful stories to boot. This book is perfect for any fan of Pooh.

Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne was a delightful listen. It was so nostalgic of the first time I remember hearing the story as a child. The story was even better than I remember. The narration by Joel Froomkin was very well done. Each of the voices for the various characters was distinct and the pacing was good. I would highly suggest this audiobook version.

I absolutely love that the Classic story of Winnie the Pooh can be listened to on audiobook. Joel Froomkin is an excellent narrator and kept the kids and myself mesmerized. I thank Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to and review this audiobook.

A.A. Milne's children's tale, Winnie-the-Pooh, has been a classic since it was first published almost a century ago, and now after having finally read it, I can fully understand why. This is a delightfully quirky, creative, and clever story, capable of making full-grown adults laugh out loud. And while the narrator can be a bit over-the-top, there's no denying that his spirited performance adds to the fun. No matter what your age, there's something of value here for everyone.

Love Winnie-the-Pooh and this audiobook was the best way to celebrate the book's entry to the public domain this year! Short and enjoyable, a great and easy listen overall!

2/5 - It was okay.

It's interesting rating a classic book for NetGalley, but I had actually never read Winnie the Pooh before. I grew up with the Russian version - many children's books were re-written for the Russian market and Winnie the Pooh was no exception. Because I grew up in Russia before moving to the U.S., I missed many of the classics and was exposed to the Russian versions instead.

And this brings me to my rather odd review of the original classic... The reason I can't rate it higher is quite simply that I like the Russian version better. I know it's a re-write and it feels odd to like something better that's an imitation, but I found it funnier and more engaging. There was nothing wrong with this book, it was just that I had already heard the story in a way that appealed more to me.

That being said, I sorely needed this narrated book at a rather volatile time. I needed something wholesome and this book delivered. The narrator (Joel Froomkin) was fantastic and I really felt little again, with a kindly voice reading me a bedtime story and changing voices for the characters. The book IS good - comical in parts and heartfelt in others. I especially could see how a parent might benefit from it if they need an audiobook during a long drive with their little one.

I have such fond memories of reading these with my children when they were small. So many times, I had them memorized. This is a beautiful retelling of the classics, and I thoroughly enjoyed going back to Pooh Corners.

This brought back memories from growing up and I almost cried through out the book. Pooh was a big part of my childhood. I am going to tell my mom that she needs to get this book on audio ASAP.

This book is has great narration and audio. It's a perfect audio book to ease the end of the day with. I loved the small music bits. It was great hearing the less common Winnie the Pooh stories.

Oh, what a delight! Listening to Winnie-the-Pooh was such a treat for me. The stories are as sweet as cupcakes.

I don't believe I ever really read this book as a child. But I was beyond ecstatic to read it as an adult. Pooh and his honey pot, and the crazy adventures they get up to. What fun! So whimsical, comical, and beautiful.

Plus the narrator (Froomkin) did an amazing job narrating the new 2022 audiobook. Definitely recommend it as a soothing listen.

My son and I loved listening to this Winnie-the-Pooh audiobook together. I love reading with him, and introducing him to classic literature is something I enjoy. Winnie the Pooh is a classic, and we have a few board books based on the characters from the story. I liked putting this on for us in the car or before naptime., to get him introduced to the story as a novel but still know the story by hearing of recognizable characters he is already familiar with. For example, he loves Tigger (in the Disney movie and in our board books) so hearing Tiggers name in the audiobook was exciting for him! He is still a little young to really understand the novel, but I can tell he is excited and happy to be reading with me, which is all that matters.

The story itself is wonderful of course, but the narration was not the best I have ever heard.
I have always absolutely loved Winnie the Pooh stories, but I was totally unimpressed with the narration of this version. The narrator made Piglet’s voice very annoying. It didn’t leave with the warm and fuzzy feeling I expected with a beloved Pooh story. There are many versions available. Choose your favorite narrator and enjoy a wonderful childhood story! This was perfection in every way. I really had no idea that there was so much more than a few stories about Winnie The Pooh. My children's staff and patrons will love this one.

Winnie the Pooh is truly a timeless classic. It is beautifully written and told here in the audiobook. The characters are well developed and lovable, and I don't know anyone I wouldn't recommend this to. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. It is near and dear to my heart and I highly encourage everyone to pick this up.
