A wonderful audio recording of a childhood classic. from A.A. Milne read by Joel Froomkin that included learning how Winnie came to have his name. Also included is the ever popular Pooh stories where he's stuck in Rabbit's hole and tries to trick the bees out of their honey by pretending to be a storm cloud. Entertaining at any age.

Lovely! The story is a classic and the narrator was phenomenal. He had different voices for the characters and it was spot on!

Thank you netgalley for letting me listen to the audiobook version of this classic. I didn't like the voice of Piglet, but the rest of the voices were good. I think a kid would enjoy this book. The stories are cute and fun. 4 out of 5 stars.

It can be difficult to review a beloved classic, and that is the case for this book, even though I haven't read it before myself. I've read parts, but never the whole thing. Of course, I've seen many of the different cartoons, especially the older ones that were more based on this book. So it was nice to read it all the way through and see the source material for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

The story itself was wonderful, and the narrator did an overall great job. Of course, it can be difficult to let go of the voices we're used to after so many viewings of the movies and television show, but I did my best not to compare it to that, as that really wouldn't be fair. For most of the characters, and for the narrator voice itself, I thought it was done well. My only issue was with his voice for Piglet, which was a little unpleasant.

Winnie-the-Pooh
by A. A. Milne
Narrated by Joel Froomkin

I received a copy of this audiobook from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media in exchange for an honest review.

Normally I try to review childrens books with my kiddos ages 5 and 8. However current scheduling was not conducive to get them on board with an audiobook of this length. I enjoyed it greatly though.

I had the original Disney Whinnie the Pooh on vhs that I watched repeatedly as a child and this exceptionally narrated audiobook really took me back to my childhood. It was simply delightful and utterly charming. The inflection and charisma of the narrator was just perfect. At about 2 hours and 30 minutes this would be just right for a long family car ride. 5/5

This was such a throwback! I absolutely LOVE Winnie the Pooh and I had to request this audiobook the second I saw it. This is such a classic and was very enjoyable to listen to. I love all the stories of what happens to Pooh and his friends. The narrator of this audiobook almost had the voices of each character down, but his voice for Eeyore was a bit weird with the partial British-like accent. Overall, it was so nice to experience my favorite childhood bear again and I would recommend this as a fun bedtime story for children!

4.5/5 Stars

Winnie The Pooh is timeless and this is an enjoyable audiobook of all the antics of Christopher Robin, Winnie The Pooh, Piglet, and the rest of their friends. The narrator did a good job with the voices. It includes Pooh getting stuck, the Heffalumps, and the party for Eyore. It was fun listening to an old favorite! #DreamscapeMedia #WinnieThePooh

I used to watch it years ago when I was a child but for some reason never picked up the book. I found it adorable. I have giggled so much for this book than I have for a long time. The narrator was wonderful as well and brought to life each characters!

How do you review a beloved classic?! I’ll just have to focus on the narration of this audiobook in this review. Winnie the Pooh has a classic voice from all the decades of his movies. As does Eeyore. So how can someone compare as they are voicing all the characters for an audiobook. That was difficult to get passed. This narrator’s Eeyore grew on me. But his Pooh was all wrong m. And his piglet was actually hard for me to listen to. But as for the regular narration, he was great. I just wanted the classic Pooh voice!

Got an audiobook copy from Netgalley for review. I thought it was wonderful. The narrator had great voices and really brought out the whimsy in these stories. Pooh is close to my heart and loved being in the world again.

Thank you to the Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the advanced electronic audio copy of this delightful book! Thank you for the walk down the memory lane! I really enjoyed spending time at the Hundred Acre Wood with Pooh and friends. My 2 year old granddaughter loves Pooh and friends too and I cannot wait to share this audiobook with her as she looks at the pictures in the print version.

THE Winnie-the-pooh
By A.A. Milne

Reminiscent and articulate interpretation of a reading of the original text. Similar to the old TV versions of the stories. With various voices and short stories that are beloved of Christopher Robin and the 100 acre wood.

This was great. I always loved Winnie the Pooh, but the narrator was awesome. I usually listen at 2x speed because narrators usually talk suuuuuuuuuuuppppppppeeeeerrrrrrrr slow, but at my normal 2x speed I was struggling to keep up. (Thats a good thing, slow narrators actually bore people and can even turn them off of audiobooks altogether) His voices were great too, I really feel like he captured every single one. I'd love to listen to more from this narrator to be perfectly honest!

This is a wonderful new narration of the classic, Winnie-the-Pooh. The narrator does a charming job of bringing all of the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood to life with distinct characterizations for each voice. This would be great listening for a family road trip.

What a beautiful stroll down memory lane!

Winnie the Pooh is a classic and a personal favorite of mine. I still have my stuffed Winne the Pooh that I had as a child and I have no idea how many times I watched the Winnie-the-Pooh videos with my son when he was little. Needless to say, when I saw this was offered as an audiobook, I had to scoop it up!

Hats off to the narrator who I thought did an amazing job with the voices and bringing life to Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh and all of A. A. Milne's beloved characters. My ears and heart were equally happy listening to this classic tale. A wonderful book/audio book for the young and the young-at-heart.

Pooh fans will not be disappointed in fact; I believe you will be as delighted as I was!

Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own

I was given an advance copy of this audiobook Winnie-the-Pooh. Yes the classic favorite book from your childhood and mine. I read this beloved book over and over to my children. Now it is given new life by this exceptional narrator who gives a voice to each of the familiar characters from the book, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Christopher Robin and all the rest. Each chapter is another adventure, Remember Eyesore’s Lost Balloon; and, of course, the exhibition to the North Pole? Pooh indeed finds it and then ponders about the east pole.. The audiobook would be a great book to listen to together on the long ride to grandma’s house. The audiobook would be a welcome gift to be able to listen at will. I definitely would recommend this to anyone and will be buying for n grandchildren. It’s like a fine wine it only gets better with a voice for each character. Sit back and Enjoy! Many thanks to #NetGalley and #DreamworksMedia for this opportunity to listen early.
