I loved the first two books in this series but this one didn’t work for me. A lot of it seemed unbelievable and didn’t draw me in at all. Disappointment

Thank you to the publisher for the review copy! I just couldn't get in the mood for this one, but I do love this author!

I almost DNF this. I just couldn't get into the story and connect with Beck and Eliza. Which is sad because I did enjoy the first two books of this series. It did pick up int he 2nd half but... it was just...ok.

I'm not a huge romance person but I fell in love with this character. She's tried so hard to be her best self, only to find she's trying way too hard for all the wrong reasons.

For You & No One Else by Roni Loren is a heartfelt, emotional, and captivating romance that strikes the perfect balance between light-hearted moments and deeper themes. Loren has a gift for writing characters that feel real and relatable, and this book is no exception.

The story follows Eliza, a therapist who seems to have it all together professionally but struggles with her personal life, particularly in the age of social media and online dating. When her life starts to unravel after a very public mishap, she finds unexpected comfort in Beck, the charming yet mysterious tech genius who prefers to stay off the grid. Their chemistry is undeniable, and watching their relationship evolve from friendship to something more was truly satisfying.

What I loved most about this book was how Loren tackled important issues like mental health, the pressure to curate the perfect online persona, and the complexity of relationships in a digital world. It wasn’t just a romance—it was a story about self-acceptance, vulnerability, and learning to embrace imperfections.

The romance itself was both steamy and tender. Loren knows how to craft intimate moments that feel genuine, and the connection between Eliza and Beck felt natural and well-developed. Beck, in particular, was a standout character—his backstory added layers to his personality, and his relationship with Eliza felt like a slow burn that paid off beautifully.

The only reason I’m not giving it a full five stars is that at times, some of the conflicts felt a bit predictable, and I would have loved to see a bit more depth in the secondary characters. However, those are minor quibbles in what was overall a deeply engaging and emotional read.

Thank you for the eARC!

Okay, so, if this was just a simple rom com, it'd be a 4 - 5 /5 stars for me. I love the banter, the spice and the cute moments (the animal shelter! the movie watching! the sober parties!) were good,

However, Loren then decided to take up her story a notch and do two things that felt rather unnecessary:
1) Our female, MC, Eliza, is a therapist. I am not against this except for the fact that... very little she does actually feels like what a professional therapist would do? And I know that people are different in their professional and personal aspects, but Eliza isn't really professional the few times we see her in that space either, including some HIPAA violations. Add into it the way she's trying to write a book about relationships which feels more like a diary/blog posts than anything else and it's just a bit cringeworthy. It feels like this occupation was only chosen for her because of the way this would fit her into Beck's story (see below).
2) Because one MC is a therapist, of course the other has to have a *unnecessarily tragic backstory*. And Loren, in my opinion, went a bit too aggressive on Beck's. ****SPOILER ALERT AHEAD**** In summary: he grew up in a megachurch cult, had his heart broken after someone filmed him and his girlfriend having sex and released it and blamed him, got excommunicated from his family, and then he became an alcoholic. Which is A LOT of development for what's supposed to be a light, spicy rom com, and just not what I really came to this book expecting.

Overall, the pacing was good and when I was able to glaze over the above two things, it was an enjoyable read and I really do like this series as far as rom coms go - admittedly, I am a pretty big critic of rom com books. I'd like to ideally give it a 3.5 but as that's not available on NetGalley, I'll settle for a 4 because I would recommend it to others.

Overall, I liked this book! I’ve loved each & every book in the Say Everything serie, so I’m definitely a big fan!
However, I’m starting to realize I’m not the biggest fan of books with arguments that could’ve been avoided if the characters were honest with each other & just communicated.
I give this book 3,5 stars!

I really enjoyed the last two books by Roni Lauren in this series but for some reason this one too me a couple false starts to really get into (hence the late review). However, I was finally in the right mood and few through it the past 2 days. Fans of her previous books will enjoy hearing about Eliza, the therapist friend who works at the same coworking building the other two books are set at, but this could also definitely stand alone. I really enjoyed Eliza and Beck’s friends to something more story- my one complaint is that the ending felt very rushed.
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an earc in exchange for my honest review.

Such an interesting book that takes a look at how people sometimes think of themselves in a different way than they are seeing. I really did enjoy the romance and a couple was one that I rooted for from start to finish.

I liked this, but definitely not as much as the previous two in the series. There was something just, unbelievable about this story? Eliza didn’t quite feel like a therapist and Beck had a storyline that didn’t quite ….fit? Or felt rushed? I don’t know.

But regardless, it was sweet, it was emotional, bits were relatable, and I definitely will always read what comes from Roni’s head. I also loved the cameos of our two previous heroines and spending time with them.

The audio was great, I flew through this quickly (minus that brief few weeks when Libby took it back from me) and this series (this book included) will always hold a special place in my heart.

What a great book! Roni Loren is an autobuy writer to me and this series is truly fantastic. This one has everything, it's funny, the MC are charming, there's some mental health issues that gives the book depth... And the love story is really cute. On top of it all, it's easy to read. I've love it.

This summary isn't really what I like to read, but the emotional turning point was definitely something I didn't see coming!

I have so ADORED this series by Roni Loren.

However, this one is probably my least favorite.

I had a difficult time connecting with the characters and the whole thing felt stilted and didn't flow as well as the other books in the series have.

*I volunteered to read this book for my honest feedback.

"For You and No One Else" by Roni Loren is the latest addition to the series, and while it may not be a favorite for some readers, it still delivers on the emotional depth and steamy romance that Roni Loren is known for.

One of the central themes in the book is the exploration of complicated characters going through challenging times, a hallmark of Loren's writing. Beckham, our hero, is grappling with religious trauma, a theme that some readers felt deserved more page time. It's true that this aspect of his character is resolved somewhat hastily, leaving a desire for more in-depth exploration. The arrival of someone from his past adds an interesting twist, though it's introduced towards the end of the story, leaving readers eager to see how it unfolds further, especially for Jess.

The age gap between the protagonists, Eliza and Beckham, is mentioned in the reviews, but some readers found it to be a minor issue as both characters are in their mid-20s and early 30s. Eliza's constant references to the age gap might have felt unnecessary to some, given their relative closeness in age and maturity. This is a minor point in the narrative but one that may stand out to readers.

Eliza, a therapist who initially appears as a "hot mess," is an intriguing character who undergoes significant development throughout the story. Some readers expressed concerns about her portrayal potentially discouraging those considering therapy, as they might expect a more composed therapist. However, Eliza's growth and personal journey are vital aspects of the story, showcasing that even therapists have their own battles to fight.

The "meet-cute" between Eliza and Beckham is described as cringey by some readers, but it sets the stage for an unexpected friendship that evolves into a friends-with-benefits situation and eventually into a heartfelt romance. While this trope may not be a favorite for all, it adds a layer of complexity to their relationship.

One critique mentioned by reviewers is the delayed reveal of crucial information about a character's past. This approach can be polarizing, and while it provides a significant plot twist, some readers may prefer to have had this revelation earlier in the narrative.

On a positive note, "For You and No One Else" is commended for its charm, humor, and the multi-layered depth of its characters. Roni Loren once again proves her talent for crafting stories with emotional depth and sizzling chemistry. Despite the minor issues some readers encountered, the story is engaging and offers a satisfying blend of humor and romance.

The reviews mention a combination of reading and listening to the book, with a nod to the talented narrator, Desiree Ketchum, who consistently delivers a top-notch performance throughout the series.

In conclusion, "For You and No One Else" by Roni Loren may not be the strongest installment in the series for some readers, but it still provides an emotionally charged and entertaining romance. The characters' growth and the author's ability to create depth in their interactions make this a book worth diving into, especially if you're a fan of Loren's signature blend of emotion and steamy scenes.

I really liked this book. It was sexy, sweet, touching. I loved that it was a younger man and an older woman. I loved the friendship they had and how they accepted each other for exactly how they are. I’m excited to read the others in the series.

Team 'Christmas Sucks'

Starring team members Eliza Catalano, therapist, and Beckham Carter, game designer, neighbours in a shared workspace who end up working in adjoining spaces on Christmas Day and, since they are alone, sharing more personal things than expected, such as that Eliza's parents died two years earlier in a car crash and that Beckham is estranged from his own parents. And now that they know intimate things about each other, Eliza's idea of adopting a puppy for her therapy and asking Beckham to join her just seems like a natural thing to do - I mean why not spend Christmas doing something completely different?

That's how this romance starts and it's a roller coaster ride of emotions, an older woman (early thirties) / younger man (mid-twenties) , opposites attract story that deals with grief (especially around the holidays) and mental health and family issues. It's a sexy, thought-provoking, thoroughly enjoyable read and a reminder of what a powerful writer Roni Loren is. Highly recommended.

I admit I hadn't ready the two previous books in this series (although I'm not sure my opinion would change), but I found the characters, especially the therapist very unbelievable. I did finish this one but it was a struggle and just not for me.

I adore this series. This is book 3 and may have been my favorite. The characters were all so great. I loved that the author brings characters from previous books into the new book. It adds an extra layer.

Also the spice level is high but tastefully done.

This is the third book in the series, and it was so good! If you haven’t read this series yet, you need to. This can be read as a stand-alone, but is better as part of the series. There is workplace romance, friends to lovers, funny animals, and so much more! I highly recommend checking it out!

This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!
