Thank you to NetGalley & the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This book is about two people dealing with their own inner struggles and learning to overcome them with the help of each other. I enjoyed the character growth and friends to lovers aspect, but I found myself losing interest with the plot the more I got into it. This came from feeling a lack of chemistry in Eliza and Beck’s relationship.

For You and No One Else is a strangers to friends to lovers romance, and is the 3rd book in the Say Everything series

i thought this was a really sweet story with a slow burn build up that really captured the chemistry between Eliza and Beck. both complimented each other well in the battles they were facing which made them all the more perfect for each other

the thing i appreciated the most from these books were the mental health representation each story held. and we get to see it once again through their loneliness and internalized battles

"𝙄’𝙢 𝙖 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙩. 𝙈𝙮 𝙟𝙤𝙗 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨.”

we have a 7 year age gap between Eliza and Beck aswell, whereas Eliza is the older woman. this made Beck's actions of restraint admirable in the sense of him knowing Eliza deserves more but ultimately being the best fit for her in the end

i found the epilogue to be quite adorable in the way that it was written, and a cute and most deserved ending for the pair :)

trigger warnings for: discussions of mental health, alcohol addiction, the loss of loved ones, escaping a religious cult, and suicidal thoughts

I feel like I forget about how much I love this series until the new one lands on my Kindle and I fall in love all over again. Each story so far has offered the perfect balance of smart banter, sizzling chemistry, and this emotional connection that just settles so perfectly in my heart - and For You & No One Else was no exception.

I freaking loved Eliza and Beckham so much!

Good gravy but I love how Roni Loren infuses these characters with real life baggage and emotional trauma - done in a way that is respectful to their lived experiences, and focused on the way they are overcoming the challenges. But also? This tremendous love story that delivers all these delicious aches and swoons and pinchy little bruises on my heart- but leaves me feeling so happy in the end. It was impossible not to love these characters, even when I found myself delivering side-eye, my heart wrapped itself around them so completely and I loved every moment I got to spend with them.

Was I frustrated with them sometimes? Yes, absolutely. But in a way that I also understood they were acting out human nature. They were working through insecurities and making some questionable decisions - but life doesn't come with an instruction manual and the head and the heart don't always get on the same page. So I got it. And my heart hurt over it. But, for me, in the end, it was absolutely worth that bit of angst.

And can we talk about the sisterhood between Hollyn, Andi and Eliza? So much goodness there. I love the way these women show up for each other. The real talk and the way they support each other and polish each others crowns and square their shoulders to set them straight. They are funny and strong and smart and wonderful and it has been such a joy to have gotten to know them through these lovely stories.

This was another HUGE hit for me. I cannot recommend this book (all of these books!) highly enough!

I have and devoured them both pretty quick. This one I think I enjoyed differently and wanted to savour a bit more. The other two I listened to on audio and this one I read on my kindle. Sometimes that makes a difference for me ebook vs audio.

I really appreciate the mental health representation this author includes in her characters in this whole series. It’s real and refreshing.

There were some parts that were a bit harder to believe but kept you entertained. Also my favourite part of this book was the epilogue. Wow it was unique and I loved it. This series is quite entertaining if you’re looking for a romcom or three with some steam.

Read this if you:
•want to read a book in one sitting
•like age age romances (not a creepy or illegal one though!)
•like strong characters
•have a thing for tattoos (IYKYK)
•want depth to a romance novel
•like steamy scenes

This books is perfection! I know it’s book 3 but they can be standalone. I will be reading books 1 & 2 immediately. I read this in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. This book has everything I want in a romance novel!

Thank you NetGalley for eARC in exchange for an honest review. Pub date: July 5!

Wow this author has quickly become a top contemporary romance author for me. Akin to Colleen Hoover and KA Tucker, I really enjoyed this third instalment of this series. I recommend that you read the prior two books. These are considered stand-alones, but are within the same world and you get to see the main female characters throughout the other books.

This was a fun age-gap romance. I definitely related to Eliza. This author takes super relatable life and love experiences and makes you feel like you are right there. The perfect mix of angst, emotions and steam.

One of my most anticipated releases and sadly, I had mixed feelings about it.

Roni Loren has definitely climbed to one of the authors that I highly anticipate. The first two books from these standalone series were so great! The mental health representation, the romance was well-written and overall I liked Loren’s writing style.

For this particular one, I would say, it was okay but not so okay? Its the kind of book that makes you happy at one moment, then makes you go ick at some parts. These emotions went back and forth and I almost gave this 3 stars if not for the wholesome epilogue, which bumped if a tad to 3.65🌟.

Short Summary
Eliza is a therapist and a romance believer. She believes in the idea of a perfect marriage with kids and a stable life. Comes Beckham, her work neighbour-hacker-tech-engineer that is the opposite of all her beliefs due to this past. Two individuals that somehow clicked even in the weirdest circumstances - a story of a rediscovery of love and mostly, a discovery of one’s self.

Personal Thoughts
I would say this book fell into the “i-dont-know-what-to-feel-but-its-still-cute-but-still-meh”

Roni Loren has a style of writing in her book that I am not too keen in which the second end always seems so rushed and it happened in this book as well. However, that wasn’t the deal breaker for me as I’ve come to accept that’s her writing style, but what made me just Ehh about the book was mostly the overall plot and pacing?

Ngl, the storyline was cute on its own. Beck and Eliza are such two individuals that are so interesting and filled with their own humour. I love their moments nerding out with each other and their love for animals is just 🥰 It was cute at best but I think what made me feel Ehh a bit was the overall conflict that they had, in a sense.

As usual, Loren writes really good spicy scenes but somehow their relationship was one that made me just felt… hmmm.. Am I convinced? I didn’t like that Beck’s problems was just somehow mentioned but didn’t explored properly as it was the biggest problem and inferior complex that shaped him as a person. Eliza as a character is almost borderline annoying but it didn’t go pass the line in which she’s tolerable. I do understand her worries and qualms and it depicts the struggle that most women at the age felt in which I loved the representation for that, but there are parts that I’m not too sure that I liked her character. I felt that it was a bit of missed opportunity in a sense that the overall plot felt iffy and inconsistent.

Overall, would still read Loren’s other works as I love that she introduces various conditions and situations of people that struggles with not only mental health but also an abusive family. I loved that she sticks to her formula in writing but this one is more of a missed opportunity rather than it being a dissapointment. Still liked it and the epilogue was so wholesome!

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Sourcebook Casablanca for this e-ARC!

A smart, funny, sexy rom com with positive mental health representation, plenty of swoon and some nerdy Star Wars referenced thrown in? YES PLEASE. Eliza is a therapist dealing with her own grief when she befriends Beckham, a computer security expert, who works in the office next to hers and is also alone during the holidays. Through a twist of fate, the two end up adopting pets at the same time and becoming friends. The two share laughs, food, movies and conversation until they can't deny their attraction anymore. Sparks practically fly off the page from their chemistry + banter! Beckham can't and won't commit to a serious relationship because of his troubled past and Eliza wants more than just a fling. Is friends with benefits really worth it when feelings get involved?

This book explores difficult themes of PTSD, abuse, grief, and online bullying. It really is no surprise to me that the author has a background in mental health. I thought she did a lovely job of blending these tender + emotional + vulnerable topics with a swoonworthy romance.

The age gap and friends to lover tropes were so expertly done here and I loved that we saw glimpses of Andi and Hollyn from the previous books. The steam level was also off the charts and the epilogue was my favorite of any I have ever read. I am so sad to see this series come to an end and I can't wait for more books from this author!

Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casa and Netgalley for my copy.

Last fall I read and enjoyed What If You & Me (Say Anything #2) and thanks to @sourcebookscasa and @netgalley I was able to read  FOR YOU & NO ONE ELSE  (Say Anything #3) (Pub 07.05) These books are part of a standalone series.

This contemporary romance has some heft/depth. The author note includes a content warning: mental health, alcohol addiction, loss of loved ones, escaping a religious cult, and suicidal thoughts (secondary character). I appreciate Roni Loren's writing for the emotion it invokes and the authenticity it portrays.

This "coworking space-to-friends-to-lovers” story,  has complex characters, snappy dialogue and writing.  Both Beckham and Eliza are coming to terms with who they are and who they truly want to be.  I loved the way they came together with honesty, communication and consent. Plus- overcoming some raw trauma. It's salaciously steamy yet also full of heart. (steam scale)

SIDE NOTE: I came to the realization recently that I am burned out on the "She/He/They are a Social Media Influencer" character in contemporary romance novels. I need a break.  However, the themes of the public narrative (Eliza) vs. the desire for privacy (Beckham) totally work here. After an online date gone wrong, Eliza commits to taking a 6 month social media hiatus. The author made me ponder the logistics of an online detox without being heavy handed.  I absolutely loved the NoPho (disconnected/no phone) parties. I kind of want to plan one.

If there's one thing that really jumped out at me, it's how 'For You & No One Else' is so reflective of our contemporary, first-world issues, particularly in the realm of social media: the kind of swaggering front we put up for it as a means to shape some kind of narrative for the public to lap up versus the hidden traumas and privacy that we really all need but don't appreciate enough.

Long story short, Roni Loren places Eliza and Beckham within this very intersection as protagonists who are accidentally drawn into each other's circles, then find themselves as ideological opposites. Their personal histories put them at odds, even though the pull of attraction leads Eliza down an alley of digital withdrawal, which then leads to some not-so-surprising revelations...and frankly, an ick-moment (with shades of two-timing where both characters nevertheless insist that it's just a way of slipping between boundaries because they're not defined in the first place) that I wished I'd never read about.

As a result, I've been sitting alternating between feeling good and cringey about the book, which is probably typical of Loren's writing for me of late. Loren's way with words can slice emotions open from a heart of steel which do make her HEA endings quite satisfying, though I had some alarm bells ringing through my head because there's just so much fuss about coming to some hard conclusions via self-actualisation--in this case, going off grid--, defining boundaries and unravelling things beneath the performative self that it became a bit of a merry-go-round in the end.

It's inevitable I suppose, that there would be an element of deception there on several counts given the number of rules the characters try to work with, but that was the bit that just didn't go down well with me by the time I'd gone through half the book. In short, I'm very undecided about 'For You & No One Else'--there were times when I absolutely loved the incisive look at human nature and other times that I particularly hated how both Beck/Eliza behaved in a manner that dampened my enjoyment of the story.

Eliza and Beckham work next door to each other in the shared space at WorkAround. She is a therapist and the friend of Hollyn and Andi from the author's other books. He is an internet security expert and wanna be game designer. Despite that, he is fully analog in his personal life and doesn't use social media. When she has a bad experience with a date getting her drunk, filming it, and posting the resulting angry rant, he challenges her to go offline as well. They make a deal and she thinks he is the perfect person to help her with her project, since he is the opposite of what she wants anyways: he is 25, she is 32; he doesn't want marriage or children, that's what she is looking for; he is super attractive but in a messy blonde hair and tattoos not her usual type kind of way.
I really enjoyed this book and again appreciated Loren's exploration of hard topics within a romance. Beck has a past that he doesn't tell anyone about, having grown up and left a cult. Eli is dealing with grief from losing family and feeling alone. And then bonus, cute cat and dog content as well.

How is it possible that this series keeps getting better and better! For You & No One Else is the third installment in Roni Loren’s must read Say Everything series! Centering around Eliza Catalano and Beck Carter, who have both not been so lucky in the love department. Starting out as workplace associates, the two feel the chemistry, but try and keep it platonic. I completely loved what Roni Loren had in mind for these two!

This novel is must read romance! Roni Loren has a gift for taking beautifully flawed characters and making them perfect for each other—love that! If you’re looking for a fantastic beach read, this is the book for you! For You & No One Else is a solid and complete 5 star novel! This gem can be read as a standalone, but trust me you will be 1-clicking the previous novels because this series is so darn good! I am already looking forward to diving into the next installment!

** Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. **

If social media is to be believed, Eliza has the perfect life. A marriage therapist, a Youtube therapy sensation, Instagram perfect...Eliza has everything she could ever want. Well, everything expect the relationship that she so desperately craves. You would think, as someone who specalizes in romantic relationships, that she would have found her Mr. Right by now. But, sadly, Eliza is still single and lonely and always going for the wrong guy.

Beck is the total opposite of Eliza. A white hat hacker who doesn't believe in relationships and lives off the social media grid, he and Eliza couldn't possibly have anything in common. But one lonely Christmas morning finds them connecting in a way that they didn't think possible.

For You & No One Else is the beautiful conclusion to Roni Loren's Say Everything series. Here, we get to see Eliza take her turn in the spotlight and find the potential love of her life. Beautifully written characters, mental health representation, friends to lovers trope, and adopted pets...what's not to love?!?!?

My only complaint with this book, was that there were parts that felt rushed. I wanted to savor the development of Eliza and Beck's feelings, but I feel like Loren jumped forward too quickly at the end in order to wrap the story up. In all, though, I loved this book and would highly recommend it.

For You & No One Else is the third book in the Say Everything standalone series. Eliza is a successful therapist and wellness YouTuber who makes a show of how happy she is. What people don't know that she is experiencing a sometimes crippling sadness and loneliness. When she has a horrible experience on a date and the aftermath of that date affects her livelihood, her friend and office mate Beckham convinces her to go analog. He challenges her to give up online dating, social media, YouTube, and to get out there and experience the world live and in person for a few months. Beck and Eliza grow closer, bonding over this challenge and Eliza's new experiences. The two have undeniable chemistry and may not be able to stay just friends for long.

This series is a favorite of mine because the books are a great balance of fun, steam, and I love that each book has a focus on mental health. Although sunshine and roses are great for romance reads, I prefer the ones that pull on my heartstrings as the main characters are on their journey of healing. Eliza and Ben each have their own mental health challenges to get through and when their full circle HEA is revealed, it's a blissful experience knowing what they had to do to get there.

Eliza and Beckham's chemistry was off the charts! It was inevitable that they become more than friends. This book was a bit of a slow burn, with that first kiss happening around the 50% mark, but their tension building was well worth the wait. Not only do they bring it in the bedroom, but they also have a deep connection, becoming each other's favorite person. And I have to say that I loved their pets - I couldn't stop laughing while reading the scenes with Eliza's dog and Beck's cat!

Pick up this book for an amusing, entertaining, and heartfelt romance!

Steam level: 🔥🔥🔥
⚠️: alcoholism, mention of death of a parent & fatal car accident, suicidal thoughts, mental health & panic attacks

This book had such a solid start. I absolutely loved the first couple scenes of Eliza and Beck interacting. Eliza was hilarious and I felt that her mentality/line of thinking was really nicely written. There were some laugh out loud moments and beautiful lines interwoven in the story.

However, I had a lot of problems with this book...

POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW:
- There was a lot of telling and not showing for some pretty crucial moments. One in particular was right after Eliza and Beck make their friends-with-benefits deal. Right away we are told weeks have gone by with them getting together 2-4 times a week. I think it would have been really important to see one or a couple of those first nights. Not to get any smut (that could have been "fade to black") but to get how they interact together in these early stages of a new development of their relationship.

- Eliza's reasoning for still being with him after she tries to end their intimate relationship is not valid at all. The 'it's really bad for me, but it makes me happy so I'm going to keep doing it' is the kind of reasoning addicts use and it's really worrisome that Eliza (as a licensed therapist) isn't making healthy decisions.

-For a therapist, Eliza was a COMPLETE pushover when it came to her own feelings. There were people constantly telling her either what she was feeling what wrong, or deciding her feelings for her. It really felt like she was being gaslit and just accepted the whole "I fell in love with the idea of him" line of thinking and then IMMEDIATELY talks to her friends and agrees with *them* when they point out to her that she actually *does* know who Beck is and was really in love with him...Like why can't she just trust her OWN feelings and thoughts instead of needing other people to decide and tell them to her?

-Him yelling at her that she never tried to get to know him when I know dang well that she was playing the long game and she knew that if she pushed he would close himself off. And the absolute audacity of him to say this when he never once asked her a question about her own life/family...

Obsessed! This was such a cute and feel good romance. Roni Loren really knows how to write!

Eliza, a therapist, is tired of going on dates that end no where. She’s tired of playing the “perfect part”. Why can’t she just be herself?
Enter Beck, her office mate/ new best friend. As the two unite on one lonely Christmas night, a budding friendship forms. With a grumpy cat and lovable dog in tow, what could go wrong? Or what could go right?
Eliza and Beck find exactly what they both need: each other.

**Thank you to the publisher and author for inviting me to read this ARC. It was an absolute gem!

Therapist Eliza discovers she’s not the only person who has escaped to the co-working space on Christmas. She stops to chat with Beckham, the sexy cybersecurity guy in the next office, and slips into too-much-information territory, telling him about her parents’ tragic deaths and then inviting him to visit the local animal shelter with her to pick a pet. While their chemistry is off the charts, she wants a serious relationship with the potential to lead to marriage, and he’s only interested in a casual friends-with-benefits arrangement lest the scandalous secrets of his past be revealed.

Eliza and Beckham make an adorable match and have fantastic banter. I liked how his desire to stay analog and avoid social media challenges Eliza to evaluate the persona she’s been cultivating to grow her business and to ditch her reliance on dating apps. His group of friends in the NoPho aka no phone social club are engaging as are her best friends Hollyn and Andi, heroines from other series installments. The pets Eliza and Beckham pick from the shelter are a ton of fun. His deep dark past nicely provides motivation for his fear of commitment and shunning of social media. Her own social media dilemma and her need to try the detox so she can better help her clients goes a long way to show her character.

I am a big fan of a great epilogue and the format and content of the one in this book is nothing short of wonderful. The author thanks Cal Newport, author of Deep Work and Digital Minimalism, whose work inspired her to create a character in Eliza who is “in desperate need of a digital detox,” which provides a cool insight into the creation of this book. I dug the New Orleans setting and the nod to Mardi Gras.

For me, this is a four and a half star read, rounded to five.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Rating: 4

For You & No One Else was a beautifully written story about the pressures of social media, finding true love and that happily ever after.

I enjoyed this book overall as there were some heartwarming, amusing, honest and realistic moments. It was a bit more of a heavier storyline than I was expecting but still very enjoyable and well written.

This book is part of the Say Everything series, but is still a standalone and can be read without reading the prior books. I do however, highly suggest checking the content warnings before reading just in case.

It is dual POVs of the main characters and does have the opposites attract, friends with benefits and the age gap trope, with the heroine being older than the hero which I loved.

The story was a bit slow paced at times but still entertaining and well developed. The discussions about trying to find a happy medium online and navigating online dating were extremely relatable and just well written and explored.

The main characters, Eliza and Beckman were great. Their romantic development was beautifully written and developed. There were some amusing, heartfelt, entertaining and spicy moments between them that I absolutely loved as well.

I will say though, I would have liked just a bit more character development for them as their overall journeys felt a bit rushed. I also wanted more elaboration on certain plot points, especially Beckman’s trauma and background as that all just felt brushed upon.

The ending and epilogue were cute and just an absolutely wonderful conclusion to the story. Overall, an enjoyable read that I would highly recommend.
