Eliza Catalano is a therapist that has an office at Workaround. From the outside one would think that Eliza's life is great and everything is going smoothly but the reality is anything but. Since having lost her parents in a car crash two years ago, Eliza's life seems to be at a standstill. All alone on Christmas day Eliza heads to her office. Thinking she would be alone, Eliza is surprised to see Beckham Carter, her young, next door neighbor also working. After the two strike up a conversation, the two realize they have more in common than either of them thought. After discussing her dreadful dating life, Beck convinces Eliza to "go off-line" for six months. He explains that you are not really living your life when you are always "on-line" and Beck says he will even help her to meet some guys. Eliza decides to give it a go and finds that she is enjoying this new way of life. It could also be that she's enjoying spending time with Beck. Of course the more time with Beck, the more she realizes that she is growing feelings for him. Too bad he has no desire for a relationship.....friends with benefits...sure, but no relationship. Things progress quickly between these two and lines certainly get blurred. When bombshells from the past come to light it causes everything Eliza thought to come crashing down. After a lot of soul searching these two will finally find their happy ever after.

I loved this friends with benefits love story. I just adored Beck. He was so fun, smart and laid back but deep down he really cared. It was fun to watch him slowly break down Eliza's structured life. Together they made a perfect balance of life. I also loved how Eliza was able to help Beck with some ghosts from his past too. Together it was a great addition to this fun series.

Just finished this and I loved it. My favorite book in this series❣️I laughed, smiled and totally got this girl. These two had a sparkle of attraction that grew into something really special. I loved the chemistry and banter. Beck is my next book boyfriend for sure. It’s definitely a great vacation read for a summer getaway. It had everything I love in a smexy romance. The authors really finding her stride and I can’t wait to see what she does next. I read a lot of it but finished it as a audiobook. Desiree Ketchum narrated this like the first two and she’s becoming one of my favorites. FYI, this is a stand-alone. I highly recommend listening to this.

Eliza and Beck find themselves neighbors in a rental office building competing against each other in a good old fashioned office bet.

Full of raw emotions, delicious slow burn romance, and truly intriguing characters, For You & No One Else is a contemporary romance and the perfect end to the Say Everything series.

I just finished reading this and loved it. This is the third book in a romance trilogy. Each book is about a different friend, and this is Eliza's story. All books have mental health representation that is really well done. Which makes sense considering the author has an MSW and 'spent years as a mental health counselor' (from her bio). I'm a social worker as well so appreciate when mental health issues are accurately portrayed.

Eliza, the main character is also a therapist. She has watched her friend's Hollyn and Andi find their partners but she is striking out on the online dating front. After a bad date goes viral, she seeks her work neighbor's assistance. Beckham is a few years younger than she is, and he is interesting. I want to avoid spoilers, so I'll stop there. I loved their story.

This story has strong female friendships, a friends to lovers romance, rescue animals, a digital detox, and more. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I'd recommend starting at the beginning since the series is so good!!

The author shares the following trigger warnings (which contain spoilers): frank discussions of mental health, alcohol addiction, the loss of loved ones, escaping a religious cult, and suicidal thoughts. I believe all are handled well.

Thanks to the publisher for a copy. All opinions are my own.

I love how Roni Loren doesn't shy away from heavy topics in her romances and handles them deftly and with care.
Older heroine - younger hero. Friends with benefits while she is looking for Mr Right.
I was entirely sold on the romance. The issues and the struggles the MCs face felt real and relatable. Overall, I would still read Loren's other works as I love that she introduces various conditions and situations of people struggling with mental health and an abusive family. I loved that she sticks to her formula in writing, but this one is more of a missed opportunity rather than it being a disappointment. I still liked it, and the epilogue was so wholesome!

*Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca, Roni Loren, and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review*

I just loved this book. It might be one of my favorites this year. Funny Banter, nopho parties with spin the bottle and 7 minutes in heaven, hackers, and therapists. It was hilarious, heartbreaking, and let's not forget sexy. I had started to read the first book in this series and it was a DNF for me. It just wasn't grabbing me at all. After reading this book (#3 in the series), I may go back and try again.

Eliza is a family therapist and her office is at a co-working space in New Orleans, while Beck is a Cybersecurity specialist who lives his entire life offline. They work next door to each other, generally ignoring each other for the most part. Eliza has always been told the dream is marriage, kids, and a house while Beck doesn't want either. When they agree to a friends with benefits arrangement, they both fall.

Roni Loren has brought us two characters with messy pasts, who can't get past the one thing keeping them apart. This book has it all.

As with all of Roni Loren’s books, the chemistry between our characters sizzles! Oh yes there is heat!🔥🔥

I’ve been a huge fan of Roni Loren’s work ever since I read The Ones Who Got Away as my first book of 2018. The emotional depth, the mental health, the banter, it’s basically everything I want in a romance. And that’s exactly what you can expect from this workplace friends-to-friends-with-benefits-to-lovers romance!

Eliza may come off on social media as a therapist who’s completely got her life together, but in real life, she’s frustrated with the dating scene, though she keeps hoping each new first date is her chance to meet The One. Things start going sideways when an impromptu Christmas morning visit to WorkAround, the coworking space she rents an office at, leads to her oversharing with her not-very-friendly office neighbor, and a trip to the animal shelter! So when one of those first dates goes viral, she reaches back out to Beck, a cybersecurity specialist, for help. While his job involves a lot of technology, he prefers to live his life offline, and talking with him leads Eliza to swear to take a social media detox for six months. But without dating apps, Instagram, and TikTok, what’s a girl to do? Beck offers to show her around the social-media-less world of NoPho parties and movie-and-ice-cream marathons, but when the chemistry between them sparks, he’s careful to let her know that he’s not capable of being husband material. But when their friendship turns into a friends-with-benefits situation, will both their hearts get broken?

“I wouldn’t want to sleep with a woman who thinks aliens run our government unless she can lay out a compelling scientific argument to convince me. That could be an interesting conversation.”

Eliza wants what her parents had: not a fairytale romance, but a loving partnership that lasted until they died in a car accident. But everyone she meets on dating apps are only looking for hook-ups, and most of them seem to not be worth even the time for that. And after the viral disaster of one date, taking Beck’s suggestion of trying to meet people offline – and maybe even turn it into a self-help book – seems like a relief. Beck’s younger than Eliza by almost a decade and she’s initially a bit ageist in relation to him. Don’t all “youngsters” not know what they really want in life? Aren’t they all glued to their phones 24×7? But as Eliza spends more time with him, she realizes exactly how wrong she is.

“I think there’s only one way this friendship is going to work,” she said softly. “We need to get this part out of our system. You’re making it hard to concentrate on Star Wars, and that just won’t do.”

While Eliza’s actions seem like a straightforward (if occasionally misguided) result of her motivations, Beck is more complicated. Even from his POV, it takes a while before what makes him tick is revealed, and it’s a doozy. But regardless of that, he’s adamant that he doesn’t buy into Eliza’s white picket fence dreams, and he’s not the kind of person who’s willing to string her along no matter how much chemistry is between them. Their friendship develops through work chats and Star Wars movie nights until denying the heat between them becomes practically impossible. The romance develops gradually and with just the right amount of angst. I am a sucker for banter, and this book truly delivers. Seriously, any book that involves Star Wars-related flirting is nerd heaven in my book! Their chemistry is off the charts, and the consent is gorgeous as well. Most of all, though, what I love about these characters is how human they feel. They have realistic motivations, and while they have good intentions, of course they mess it up occasionally. When that happens, for the most part Eliza and Beck talk it out, or if it’s too heated in the moment, they have the maturity to walk away and truly consider the other person’s side. Also, because of the way they met (Christmas animal shelter trip and viral video), neither feels like they have to hide their messy bits. They’ve already seen the worst (and the best) of each other, so they can simply be themselves.

“I don’t need the glossy version, Eli. The therapist who has all the answers. This thing we have, this…heat. I think it’s because we’ve been messy with each other from the start.”

I love how Roni Loren’s previous work has dealt with mental health, so of course the one involving a therapist does as well! Each character has their own challenges and past trauma, and the author deftly handles showing how these affect them while still being respectful. They feel like real people who are doing their best to overcome their pasts, but who still make frustrating decisions due to their insecurities. Both of their pasts have shaped who they are and what they think they want in life, but their relationship shakes things up and makes them question themselves. I especially loved how even though Eliza is an excellent therapist to her clients, she’s shown as being a normal messy person in her personal life, especially how it ties in to the themes of the book. There’s a lot about manufactured authenticity, how we present ourselves versus how we really are. What we show on social media is a curated version of ourselves, the same as the way we act on a first date. It’s a performance, not reality, and sometimes even the things we think we want are just us putting on a performance for ourselves, not necessarily what’d make us truly happy.

“Honey,” Andi said with a little laugh, “a happy ending is the one that makes you happy. The hard part is figuring out what that is.”

Another favorite thing about the series is the female friendships. Hollyn, Andi and Eliza are so wonderful together! They’re there for each other through thick and thin, celebrating or threatening castrations, and it was wonderful to see them all interacting on-page again. The epilogue especially made me cry happy tears. Like all of Roni Loren’s characters, I’ve grown very attached to these three friends and getting a chance to see their happy futures – happy for them, in all their disparate ways – felt wonderful. Sure, it’s a bit sappy, but what can I say?

Overall, a fitting end to this series! While I’ll miss Hollyn, Andi and Eliza, I can’t wait to see what Roni Loren comes up with next!

I received an advance review copy of this book from NetGalley. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

For You & No One Else was a fantastic wrap up to the Say Everything trilogy. Each book was so fast paced and kept me engaged the entire time. I felt like I truly knew the characters and they were people I would be friends with in my own life. Our main character, Eliza, is so relatable. I see parts of myself in her and I feel like others could as well. Roni Loren seriously knows how to write an amazing romance that sucks you in and makes you fall in love yourself.

For You & No One Else was one book that I'd been waiting to read since last year as I'd loved the previous two books in the series!❣️✨ My favorite thing about these books is probably the honest communication that the characters have with their love interests!⁣

For You & No One Else features Eliza, a therapist with a strong social media following and Beck, her work neighbor and cybersecurity specialist who doesn't like having an online presence. A lonely Christmas day brings these two together which ends up with Beck adopting a feisty cat even though it was Eliza who wanted to adopt a pup😂 And then a disastrous date that goes viral(hated that btw😤) ends up almost destroying Eliza's career. Beck ends up helping her out again and suggests a digital detox so that she can meet men organically.⁣

They start off as friends but they can't deny the chemistry between them which makes it evolve into an friends with benefits scenario. But Beck's past has him convinced that he doesn't want marriage and other things, while Eliza idealizes her parents' marriage and wants something similar. Or does she? It's up to them to figure it out!⁣

Both Eliza and Beck have quite a few issues to work through but I loved how they slowly opened up to each other. Eliza was a bit unbelievable as a therapist at first😂 but I do understand that even therapists have issues(and they probably need therapy themselves). It was nice to see the contrast between Eliza in a professional setting and a private one.⁣
Gotta add that this one is an age gap romance but I never really felt it, as Beck was very mature and didn't match Eliza's preconceived notions. I totally loved those NoPho parties(I wanna go to one too!).⁣

I adored the banter between these two😆 And I also need to appreciate the friendship between Eliza, Andi and Hollyn! I loved seeing them together! We also get a really cute epilogue featuring all the couples in a unique format(no more books though?☹️).⁣

Please read these books if you haven't already! They're some of my favorites from last year!❣️
Do check the CWs though as they deal with some heavy topics!

I am a huge Roni Loren fangirl, HUGE, so when Sourcebooks asked if I’d like an advance copy of For You & No One Else, I couldn’t say yes fast enough!

This book just spoke to me on so many levels, I flew through it!

Beckham is my new cinnamon role book boyfriend, I adore him. His little speeches and the way he challenged Eliza just melted my heart. Don’t even mention the relationship with his cat, I cannot.

Eliza had made appearances in the previous two books and I had a feeling I’d like her but oh boy did I relate to her on such a deep level. I didn’t expect a romance novel to make me pause and consider my own approach to dating but that is exactly what happened. I could so empathise and understand Eliza’s series of awful dates and how she felt about online dating, how easily it is to get sucked back in and be giving a ‘performance’ without even realising it.

At one point Beckham says: You’re looking for something real in a system set up for show. You’re looking for a seven-course meal at a fast-food restaurant’.
Well, if that didn’t hit me smack in the face! So now me and the dating apps are taking a little break and embracing that ‘analog’ life, just like Eliza.

Was also a huge fan of the discussion around relationships, marriage and kids. I feel like ‘happily ever after’ in romance is often seen as our MCs getting engaged, or married, or having a child. There’s never just we’re happy and together. There’s rarely the female MC being happy alone and not needing to be in a relationship. The discussions around what we think we want, what society has programmed us to what and what we truly wish our life to look like was so good and important.

There’s a lot of interesting topics that come up at various points in the book and they’re just woven in so effortlessly.

This is the final book in a 3 part series and I can confirm that the epilogue wraps everything up so well! I think it might be one of my favourite approaches to wrapping up a multi-part series - I finished the last page with a big ol’ smile on my face.

There’s a character introduced in this book, Jess, that I’d really like to see have her own book/spin off series as I think she could make for a really interesting story (hint hint Roni Loren…)

I can’t stress how much I’ve loved everyone of these book, so if you haven’t already then add them to your TBR and read them, and Loren’s The Ones Who Got Away series stat!

For You & No One Else by Roni Loren is the 3rd book in the Say Everything series. This is the last book of the series and I'm sad it is over! I really liked this book. While each book in the series is about a different couple, I enjoyed Eliza and Beck the most. I thought Eliza and Beck were really great characters and I loved the friendship they formed. Looking forward to reading more from this author in the future!

I read this book not knowing that it was the third in a series, and I felt perfectly fine reading it. I wasn't lost or spotting any gaps that might have been filled by reading the first two. It felt like it's own story that could be read with or without reading the series.

If you love age gap romances (which, of COURSE I do) mixed with workplace romance (don't mind if I do) and friends to lovers (not my favorite but when executed right, it's so good) then this book is for you (and no one else....like the book title....okay I'll stop the stupid puns.) Also, there is an attempt at a FWB sort of situation, and obviously they fail in the good way, so it has all the fun tropes. There's some steam, so if that's your preference, you're in luck with this book! There are content warnings, so be sure to look those over before beginning this book, but I personally felt they added to the complexity of the characters, making them more relatable.

Eliza is a therapist who has her own problems that she needs help with...this is an issue that we need more light shined upon. Who's taking care of the people who take care of us? I really appreciate Loren's incorporation of this, as well as the general theme of mental health throughout the book. I like when my romance books have a lesson behind it.

Beck works in computer security and comes from a Duggar Family type situation. This felt like an unexpected backstory, but an important one nonetheless. We need to discuss the negative effect these broadcasted cult-religious families have on the innocent children. Beck is Loren's discussion on that topic: he rebels hard and covets his privacy above all else, since his was breached from an early age, and continued to be for years.

I feel kind of split about this book...on one hand, I love the dialogue between the characters, and appreciate how their backstories color their story. Everyone has baggage, even the people who help others with baggage. But, I do feel like both characters had moments of uncharacteristic behavior, particularly with Eliza. Even with her own personal problems, I don't really believe some of the actions that she takes since she is in fact a therapist. She doesn't seem as patient or understanding as one should be, and maybe that's the point, but it did rub me the wrong way.

Overall, I liked this book, but there where definitely some moments that felt out of line with the rest of the story. It is a HEA with a happy epilogue, so at least there's that!

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the complimentary ARC. All opinions provided are my own.

Roni Loren’s Say Everything series is one that’s going on my fave contemporary romance series list—you can put that blurb right on the cover 😆.

The latest installment, For You & No One Else, out now, warmed every cockle of my heart. I really loved this friends with benefits romance where they really are *friends* & lovers & eventually make an adorable and unfairly hot partnership.

Therapist & mental health influencer Eliza hasn’t won over office-mate Beckham & that’s fine.

But they strike up a friendship while unexpectedly shopping for a dog together *cue the soft, happy tears* & as a hacker & friend he’s there for her when a horrible date tries to publicly shame & bully her by posting a video of her without her consent rightfully going off on him (check out the CWs for more on this!).

Gradually they move into something steamier, but there are big complications standing in the way including Beckham’s past & their different relationship wants.

This age gap, forced proximity, workplace-ish romance is written so beautifully & captures how romance underlaid with a strong friendship can be so strong & heartwarming. The speeches that each makes about friendship, & later about love, really got to me in the best of ways.

& the Epilogue. I didn’t need to see it go there, & it didn’t have to for the characters, but I absolutely loved seeing them sooo happy. Furthermore, seeing the other characters from past books—all of them one big, happy, extended family—was particularly welcome given the crappy news we’re dealing with in the Real World.

This book & this whole series is fantastic. If I want sensitive romance with steam & compelling relationships with attraction & tenderness & respect & gentle challenges I’m rec’ing this one! Check it out if you haven’t already—you won’t regret it!

5 ⭐️. Out now!

CWs & ID in comments.

CWs: Beckham lived in a cult and a sex tape was released of him and his partner without his consent. His partner didn’t actually want to have sex with him, although he didn’t pressure her into the act. He’s a recovering alcoholic. The death of Eliza’s parents within the past couple of years. Eliza’s date lies & manipulates her into drinking more on the date with the intention/hope/plan of it encouraging her to have sex with him. She realizes what happens & yells at him drunkenly & he films her & puts the video online without her consent.

Roni Loren does such a great job at writing romance novels. One of the things I love most about her books are that the characters communicate, and this one is no different. I have read the other two books in this series, so it was nice to see appearances from previous main characters. The fact that Beck once belonged to a cult was an interesting sub plot in this story. I loved how vulnerable Eliza and Beck were with each other, and it seemed realistic without being forced. I love a good friends to lovers trope, although I wanted to scream at Beck a few times, especially when he was encouraging Eliza to go on dates with Will. It would be interesting if Will got his own book! Thank you to the publisher for giving me the chance to read an early digital copy of this one!

If you’ve followed me for long, you know my deep and undying love for Roni Loren’s Say Anything series. It is INCREDIBLE! This is the third book in the series and every book is as good as the last. While you don’t HAVE to read them in order, I would recommend it - and you will thank me later! 😍

💙Great friends to friends with benefits to lovers
💙Workplace romance
💙The best side characters
💙Funny rescue dog + cat!
💙Loren always finds a way to include mental health, consent and respect without being preachy and I love it so much!

If I’m being picky, I would have liked more back story for both. There was just something slightly off from her prior books in the series.

Thank you, Sourcebooks Casa and Dreamscape Media, for gifting me copies of For You & No One Else to read and review.

For You & No One Else is the third book in the Say Everything series by Roni Loren. Each book is perfect, and I fall hard for the characters. I have the most challenging time saying goodbye once the book is over. Eliza is special to me because I relate to her so much. She is 32 and trying to follow what “society” tells her about needing to find a husband. Instead, she befriends her coworker of sorts Beck and the sparks sizzle. Eliza struggles throughout the book to redefine herself and puts societal pressures in their place. I was inspired by her and will try and refind my own expectations for myself. Thank you to my new BFF, Elisa. I’m glad you figured it all out. I highly recommend reading this whole series ASAP. Especially the audiobooks, the narration is fantastic.

3.5/5 stars!

At the start of the book, the heroine is commiserating about her late parents and how she didn't want to celebrate Christmas. The heroine doesn't want to focus on her lonely existence during the holiday, so she goes to her workplace and encounters the hero, who is busy at his computer. The two makes a bet about being off social media for six months, the two began to get closer. And as their relationship changes, how will they cope with their new feelings and facing their pasts that doesn't stay hidden?

This is the last book in the SAY EVERYTHING series. I appreciate the focus about mental health issues that the main characters are dealing with, even though some outcomes deserved more details for better outcomes in my eyes. I liked the strong friendship circle that encompassed the whole series and how in this book these particular friends were there for the heroine. The story tackled some heavy topics that they earned more details within the story in my eyes. And I liked that the story has an epilogue. Overall, it's a nice ending to this Roni Loren series.

**Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the review copy. All opinions and thoughts in the review are my own.**

I’ve loved this series, set in a co-working space populated by a quirky band of characters, and For You & No One Else absolutely cleared the bar set by the first two novels. Eliza and Beck had such great chemistry, and I loved following them as they sifted through their own personal wreckage to find a life they built together. Roni Loren is so good at mixing humor, heart, and heat, creating characters and couples you truly miss when the novel ends.

I really liked this book. I thought Eliza and Beck were really great characters and I loved the friendship they formed.

I did a hybrid read of this (audiobook and ebook) and I also loved the audiobook narrator.

I thought the whole religious cult was really interesting because that kind of thing fascinates me. I also loved the idea of a NoPho party and sometimes I wish I had the will power to go to an event and be completely without my phone for the entire time.

I’m sad this series is over now though because I’ve really loved all 3 couples.

Thank you to @sourcebookscasa and @dreamscape_media for the eARC and audiobook copies of this book.
