When Remy Young gets the chance to tour with America's Sweetheart, Vivi Swan, he jumps at the opportunity. And after a bus mixup causes them to spend a few hours together, everything he has heard about comes into question. She is a pop princess who writes breakup songs about everyone she dates but he still wants to get to know her better. This story is sweet and deals with a couple dark topics. Remy deals with his own family trauma throughout the story, as part of the story explains his escape from his very religious family and his brother's struggle with drug abuse. It is also light and fluffy in between. While I enjoyed the book, I struggled with a few things. Vivi Swan basically is Taylor Swift. Also backstories I felt didn't get wrapped up for example we never got an update about what happened to Mercy, and the time Remy spends bonding with the band is highlighted, but the story of how Vivi and Remy's relationship grows is quickly glossed over and rushed through. The writing was good. Even though I did struggle with the pacing at times. It is always fun to see the superstar fall for a regular guy, and the setting of a world tour made it even more interesting.

3.5 stars! This story... so Taylor Swift coded. She was who was in my mind as Vivi Swan. Remy is...such a green flag. I was rooting for him, for them the whole time. It is a great book to escape to and you know what was music was playing while I was reading this.

I value the opportunity I was given to read this in advance, but it has been three years and I still haven't read this. With so many books ahead of me, I cannot return to this title.

I quite enjoyed this one! It started a bit slow for me, but I eventually grew to really like Vivi and Remy. I did want a bit more when it came to the conflict resolution at the end, but overall it was enjoyable.

*Six Ways to Write a Love Letter* by Jackson Pearce is a frustrating and underwhelming read. While the concept of exploring love through different letters could have been intriguing, the execution falls flat. The writing feels disjointed, with each letter lacking emotional depth or genuine connection. The characters are shallow and lack development, making it hard to care about their relationships. The pacing is uneven, and the attempts at humor often miss the mark. Ultimately, the book feels like it tries too hard to be quirky without offering any meaningful insight or emotional resonance. A disappointing and forgettable read overall.

This novel follows Remy, an aspiring musician, as his life intercepts with the live of Vivi, the current "It Girl/Pop Star" of the moment and develops feelings for her. Overall, this was a quick and enjoyable read---perfect for a summer book by the pool!

This was a really cute love story set in the world of a pop star. I really liked Remy as a character in particular. You know it’s well written when you feel the butterflies too when the characters finally kiss!

If you like to escape into the world of celebrity drama and unexpected romance, this book is for you. This book has humor and heart, the novel explores themes of fame, authenticity, and the power of connection. You will find yourself rooting for Remy and Vivi as they navigate the complexities of their budding relationship amidst the chaos of the spotlight.

It was a cute read, honestly not my favorite read of the year but a good palate cleaner in between thrillers. I wanted something light and cute and this books delivers just that.

This was a great mix of romance and humor and it reminded me a lot of Taylor Swift and how she always gets flack for writing songs about her exes.

Definitely appreciated a romance from a guy's point of view. However, this wasn't what I had hoped for. It wasn't awful, but definitely not my cup of tea.

"Six Ways to Write a Love Letter" is like an epic love letter to Taylor Swift, wrapped up in a romance novel package. It's all about Vivi Swan, this mega-popstar who's known for her tall, blonde, red-lipstick-wearing self. The story mostly unfolds during her insane concert tour, and here's the twist – Remy, our dude, ends up as the drummer, filling in for some last-minute injury.

But what's really awesome? The writing is as smooth as butter, my friend. If you're into music or you're a Taylor Swift fan, this book is right up your alley. And here's the kicker – it's not your run-of-the-mill romance novel. Most of those flip back and forth between the girl and the guy, but "Six Ways to Write a Love Letter" switches things up by giving us the whole scoop from Remy's point of view.

This unique take brings some extra flavor to the mix. It assumes you already get the deal with female pop stars and the drama they go through. No need for a full-blown lecture on it – you just know what's up. Plus, Vivi's a bit of a mystery, kind of like those cool, enigmatic male characters you often see. It keeps you guessing, and that's part of the fun.

And let's not forget that book cover – it's drop-dead gorgeous. You'll spot it from a mile away, my friend!

An easy enough read but overall it wasn't for me - didn't love the characters or the storyline all that much.
