Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
I had to DNF this book at 77%. It was just not for me, which is disappointing cause I was really looking forward to it. I did find it interesting that it was told in our mmc's pov because you don't see that very often but that was the only thing that interested me. The fmc was obviously based on Taylor Swift which I liked but you never really get to know her and she didn't have any of her own attributes she was literally a carbon copy of Taylor Swift. There was also a cheating plot line in here. I don't like reading about cheating at all, so not for me.

I love that cover and that’s what made me request this book in the first instance.
The story was interesting and while the character was a bit too much at times for me, I loved the process of the overall story line and how the dramas and what happens behind the curtains was very entertaining.
I can’t say that I loved this one but it definitely made for a good time reading and maybe I’ll try to reread it again in the future with fresh eyes.
Interesting story overall that many will enjoy
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

This was a fun read! I loved reading about behind the scenes music tour drama, and the band all felt natural.
Vivi Swan herself felt like she was mainly based off Taylor Swift, and it may have been unintentional but I personally did not enjoy how similar Vivi was made. Almost like a clone.
Because Vivi was such a manor character and it felt as though she had no original traits or characteristics, it did let me down a bit.

I really, really, really wanted to love this. I'm a swiftie to my core, so I was very excited to read a romance novel with a main character that was in large part based on Taylor. This unfortunately fell flat for me. The pacing was incredibly slow throughout the book and then super rushed at the end. This was a single POV from the male main character's perspective which I did really enjoy. Remy's character was fully fleshed out, and I felt like I knew his motivations and personality. I think this book would have benefited from being a dual POV so we could get the same information about Vivi. I don't feel like we truly learned anything about her beyond a list of character traits. I really enjoyed the music aspect of this, and song writing and production thoughts were a lot of fun.
Overall, I liked this book, but I'm left disappointed because I wanted to love it.

this was beautifully written and I didnt expect to like it as much as I did. I gobbled this up. I loved it

This book took me by surprise because I had no idea what it was about before going in, nor had I ever read anything by this author. It ended up being extremely well written & a romance that I think included a lot of other great elements. I honestly can say I felt good while reading – if that makes sense, it had a wholesome vibe to it (as well as some darker parts though). It was filled with drama & surprises along the way that kept me so interested.
If there is one thing I love as much as reading, it is pop culture & this book combined both of them so well. This story dove into the world of celebrity, fame, & the music industry, which I find absolutely fascinating. Trying to deal with a romance as well as all the PR & gossip that goes along with it? LOVED!
It was refreshing for me to read a whole romance from the guys POV (although it was technically 3rd person narration!). That is something I do not see a ton of in this genre & I think was very well done in a unique way. We got a great brotherly connection that was explored as well as some insight into a tough childhood leading to struggles with addiction.
All in all, this book was a beautiful story that I felt really matched well with me & my interests. My only real complaint is that I found the ending was extremely rushed. Sometimes I can understand how a story will wrap up quickly but this one just seemed so accelerated for me to fully enjoy it.

Wow, I really liked this novel. I don’t know whether it fits neatly into the Romance Novel category. In my head I’m categorising it as like women’s fiction but with a male main character. I think the less of a focus on romance and instead developing Remy’s backstory and family relationships made this novel unique and I truly enjoyed it!
When I first started reading, I wasn’t sure about the novel being from Remy’s point of view, because I’ve only read a few romances from a male point of view. But Remy was such a good character, like he was just a really sweet guy with an interesting past, so I got past the intial shock. Vivi also was a great character, I was imagining her very Taylor Swift-like. The romance was very well done, I loved the build up to the relationship and the tension. I also really liked that the relationship drama was more external than internal. Remy and Vivi really did love each other and you could tell.
I would definitely recommend this novel! I immensely enjoyed it and I’m glad that I read it!

When Remy Young gets the offer to be the drummer on tour with Vivi Swan he knows this means big things. Remy has been trying to support his brother, a former drug addict, and the money Remy will make from this partnership will mean big things for them both.
Remy knows he's smart enough to stay away from all the drama, and if what they say about Vivi Swan is true, then drama and heartbreak seem to follow her wherever she goes. Vivi Swan is the equivalent to Taylor Swift, a former country singer tuned popstar who moved to Nashville at a young age to write and sing music with the support of thousands of adoring fans. Most of her songs are about breakups and bad relationships, hence, her perfectly-manicured public reputation.
But, when there's a mix-up with the tour buses, Remy and Vivi are forced to spend hours together. The longer Remy spends with Vivi the more he realizes she is nothing like the person the media makes her out to be. More shockingly, Vivi asks Remy to help her write a song.. But, the more that comes out about Vivi's private life the more it impacts her public façade. Will Remy and Vivi survive the ups-and-downs or will Remy become just another one of Vivi's breakup songs?
Overall, this was a quick read. It's a perfect beach read. If you love music, love-songs, sad-songs, and T-Swift you are bound to love this one. I really enjoyed that it was told through the eyes of the male character lead rather than through the female lead character's.

To borrow an idea from the book, this story is one I can only call “golden”. I fell hard and fast for this one! This book is from a single (male) POV which was a fun change! Vivi Swan is one of the biggest popstars in the world. When Remy Young gets signed to be her drummer for a short leg of her tour, everything changes for them both. If you love anything about music, celebrity, SLOW BURNS, sweet romance, and grand gestures, you’re going to love this book. I loved seeing the woman as the one who was the celebrity. I’m obsessed and now I’m going to be in a reading slump for a few days. This is one that will stick with you. Great for fans of the Happy Ever After Playlist. Thank you so much to NetGalley for this ARC! This easily became a favorite of mine that I already can’t wait to re-read.

This was a fast-paced romance with great characters. I enjoyed it very much. I have a feeling I would like more from this author.

I thought that this book was very cute and a quick read. In the beginning it was hard for me to get into, but as I continued to read I was not able to put it down. The overall relationship between Vivi and Remy flowed very well and I loved seeing it develop throughout the book. It was interesting how the story was told in Remy's POV, but I think I would have preferred a dual POV. Overall, it was a good read!

I enjoyed being wrong about this book! I went in not really know what it would be like but then thinking it would just be another fluffy rom com but it came off more than that. Not so much heavy but not for the lighthearted either. I enjoyed the characters and their journeys. I didn't care too much for the cheating but I always applaud authors when they bring realness to a story no matter how right or wrong it is.

Synopsis: Remy Young touring with Vivi Swan means more money than he and his brother could ever earn on their own. And he's smart enough to keep himself far away from drama. Then a bus mix-up forces Remy and Vivi to spend hours together, and he's surprised to discover that she's nothing like the rumors said she'd be. When she asks for his help writing her next song, he's immediately on board—for professional reasons, of course. When Vivi's private life and public facade finally clash, a celebrity gossip blog threatens everything they've created together.
My Thoughts: The story is narrated by Remi, told in his POV. The author’s character development was amazing, they had a depth to them that I was able to connect with, especially Remy. I gravitate towards Rom-Com’s and one of the reasons I picked this book up, however, while it had some cute romantic moments, I think it was more of a romantic drama. The author’s writing was clear, creative, and authentic. I love how Pearce explored the music scene, speficially with the touring aspect and how hard it is on musicians, and then the cost of fame is explored a little. The book explores relationships, not only romantic but also the relationship of the brothers, which was nice to see. This was more of a slow burn, but still a good book overall that I enjoyed.

I enjoyed this fast pace book. Enjoyed the characters and the sweet story. Hope to read more by this author!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I had to kind of breeze through this one. Unfortunately, when I have to skip pages to finish a book in that way, I classify it as a DNF. I hate DNFing ARCs, but when I do once in a blue moon, I like to thoroughly explain why.
This book was all over the place. Let's all be honest to ourselves. If we read the book, it was because we were drawn to the fact that the main character is based off Taylor Swift. I mean, down to even the little details. This was really fun, but I also wish there were more original aspects to her character. I felt like I didn't know Vivi at all, and I found myself wishing we got dual POV to see her motivations and thought processes.
Unfortunately, I felt that the writing was juvenile. I didn't prefer that this was from Remy's POV. I didn't find his character particularly well constructed or interesting. More than anything, I hated the presence of the age-old misogynistic stereotype of the female pop star who dates a lot of men, traps them in her web of toxicity, gets too clingy, and cries when they leave in a marble bathtub surrounded by pearls with a waterproof notepad to jot down breakup lyrics (iykyk).
There were so many layers that were thrown into the plot that were not justly elaborated upon. The religious family background, the substance abuse, reputations and fame. Instead we got grand gestures (x2) with no communication follow-up, and a cheating plot line?

At first I wasn’t too into this book. It was far slower of a pace than I am used to. As time went on I became more invested in the characters and liked seeing the complexities and politics of the music industry and tours. I didn’t care for the flashbacks as they were disruptive and slowed the story even more. It wasn’t until the last third of the book that I really got into the story fully. I really liked the ending and felt things came together pretty well. I would recommend others check this book out.
Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the ARC.

I thought that this book was a lot of fun overall.
Six Ways to Write a Love Letter didn't pull me in right away. It felt angsty and a little too youthful for me, but as the story went on - I grew to love the characters involved. You've got Remy, this grungy indie artist working in a studio as a junior producer/drummer - he wants something more. His brother, Val, is fighting his demons with his girlfriend Celeste. When Remy gets ask to jump in last minute as a drummer for a pop star -- his life changes dramatically.
I got T-Swift vibes from Vivi Swan. Country goes pop, cherry red lips - fans screaming her name as she sings breakup song after break up song. It was really cool to watch her character develop into something that wasn't just the pop star -- to watch her barriers come down.
This book is your typical happy ever after, fade to black romance. Its a perfect beach read for the summer.

Oh my goodness - I enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I was going to!
I always feel like that's maybe not necessarily a kind thing to say? But I mean it in the most delightful way that it can be taken. I had never read Jackson Pearce before. I was lured in by the blurb (because let's face it, I'm a sucker for a celebrity romance) but I knew I was still taking a chance.
It started a little slow for me. I wasn't very patient with it and I wasn't sure if I was going to connect with it. Then, suddenly - it all fell into place. Something clicked and once it clicked, I was all-in. It just worked for me. I was so intrigued by Vivi and so in love with Remy. I was so fascinated by the way they were drawn to each other and how achingly tender their relationship felt. It's such a fantasy, but it was written in a way that felt so authentic - it just pulled me in, held me in thrall, and left me with a giant smile and happy tears.
This story was beautifully written and I enjoyed it so much. It's a lovely romance, and a beautiful love story - yes, for Vivi and Remy, but also for Remy and Val (his brother). I didn't always connect with the flashbacks/brother's story but honestly their relationship evolution was almost more rewarding than the romance in the end.
If I have a complaint, it would be that I might have liked more of a resolution to the conflict for Vivi and Remy, and I think I needed to see a bit more of her walls come down and her fight for Remy with the same fire that she gave protecting her reputation. But even without those things I can appreciate the way it played out and honestly, it left me feeling completely heartwarmed and happy in the end.
I gobbled this story up voraciously and then was sad when I hit the end and it was time to leave them behind which I think means there's a bit of book magic in this book and I'm so so glad to have read it.

Thank you to NetGalley, Jackson Pearce, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for an electronic ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Six Ways to Write a Love Letter is a romantic comedy that follows two MCs on tour. I love music and find touring fascinating. It was cool to read more about that side of the industry.
I quite enjoyed this book. The pace was on point. The romance didn’t feel rushed and felt natural. Jackson’s writing made reading flow nicely and was easy to read. Overall, I would recommend others to check it out!

Thank you NetGalley for an ARC of this book.
I requested this book because of the amount of great reviews it has and I'm so glad I did. This book completely surpassed my expectations in so many ways and I wish I already had the physical copy of it to put on my shelf!
