I have to be honest. Anything to do with France or has French in its title, is automatically interesting to me.
And add in pastries and it's a go!
This father/son story about reconnecting while the world around each of them travels at different paces,
A newly widowed father tries to keep himself together and his son tries to build his own life a continent away. Even with the distance, the frustration is palatable as they try to work through their sadnesses. When an emergency brings them back together, they must decide how they wish to proceed-together or each going their seperate ways.
A vivid and heart squeezing read.
Thank you to the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
