A fun and engaging book about animal adaptations! Kids will be drawn in by the playful nature of the text and all the interesting animal facts they can find in this book! Would definitely recommend for libraries.

This book was very neat! It was a little hard to read electronically. If I had to guess, this is going to be a pop up book. The information was really good, and I can definitely see how this book would be appealing to kids. I would like to purchase this for my classroom library and have it available for science class when we learn about animal adaptations.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Excellent j non-fiction title for kids about animal adaptations. Excellent for project or report.

Animal Adaptations: Extreme Conditions was an absolute treasure of a book. This is perfect for the curious kid or homeschooling families who love to include lots of visual books when learning. My three found this book was fun, engaging, and it sparked their curiosity.

A beautifully illustrated and fact-filled cut-out book for young readers, who learn how different animals survive the hottest heat or the coldest cold, underwater or in the sky. A great resource -- so lovely to look at -- for school, public and home libraries. Out now.
Thanks to the author, Publisher Spotlight, Albatros Media, and NetGalley for the ARC; opinions are mine.

Animal Adaptations: Extreme Conditions is a lovely book for early readers and preschoolers. The text introduces and engages readers to the ways animals adapt to extreme conditions and introduces early categorization and sorting. It's a lovely quick read with lots of visuals.

An engaging, informative read with colorful images to help readers learn new word meanings. I received access to a digital copy as part of an ARC promotion. It looks like there are cutout sections of the page for kids to guess what adaptation comes next and what animal it belongs to. This text interaction paired with the beautiful artwork will make for an entertaining read for youngsters. Whether for read aloud to younger kids or for lower elementary self-reading, this book has plenty of academic potential. Great book for a budding future zoologist!

I can’t wait to use this book with my class. It will be a great addition to my science lesson over animal adaptations. The book length, short passages, and colorful pictures are perfect for my student population.

This is an excellent non-fiction book for young readers! Interesting facts about a wide variety of animals are organized based on various adaptations to extreme conditions--cold, desert, altitude, etc. There is an interactive element where kids are invited to guess about animals and supplemental information is included in small bits of text. This is very manageable for newer readers and will definitely hold interest.
The illustrations are very appealing and effective. Kids will enjoy looking at all the various animals in lively, detailed depictions. This would be a great book for newly independent readers and would make a great addition to elementary school and classroom libraries!
