Mistletoe, Mayhem & Mr. RIght is a fun, light Christmas read! A little bit of rom com mixed with magice!
Thank you netgalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
Molly McKenna loves Christmas. Her dream is to create “A Christmas Village” with twinkling lights, falling snow, horse drawn sleighs, mistletoe, and that magical feeling of love in the air.The only thing that could make this Christmas wish complete would be sharing it with the man she believes to be the love of her life, her sexy Aussie boss of three years, Sebastian Tate.
One caveat… he barely knows she exists.
Molly believes a kiss under the mistletoe will prove Sebastian is the one. She enlists her best friend, Hunter Bentley, to devise a plan guaranteed to deliver Sebastian under her mistletoe. As Molly heads home for a McKenna Christmas in Connecticut with Sebastian in tow, the plan just might work, until Hunter realises how wrong Sebastian is for her and heads to Connecticut with mistletoe in hand and a plan of his own.
Can a kiss under the mistletoe deliver everything on Molly’s Christmas list?
This books sounds like something right up my alley, however I was unable to push myself to finish this book and added it to my DNF pile. The cover of this book is gorgeous and definitely something that drew me in. However I didn't like the protagonist in the book, she knew nothing about the love interest and I couldn't get myself to care for her. There were some grammatical errors that bugged me too. I stopped reading this about a third of the way through, it may not have worked for me but it could work for you.
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Mistletoe, Mayhem & Mr. Right: A Merry Mix of Humor, Holiday Joy and Heartwarming Romance. Unfortunately I struggled to find the heartwarming romance. Molly, the protagonist, starts off interesting but as the story evolves, her love for Sebastian isn’t what you think and the real romance only picks up in the final few chapters.
I enjoyed some of the banter with Hunter and Kyle although I struggled to connect with any character. It seemed to drag on with Molly’s obsession with Seb until the very end until each character finds their peace all at once.
The writing and editing too were sub par - there are so many typos, it made me cringe. Hoping it wasn’t the final edit in the ARC. The character voices were poorly written too, switching from third person to dialogue. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the mayhem. I give it two stars, with one for the holiday as that crept through.
I really enjoyed the holiday atmosphere and there were defiantly some sweet moments but unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the book overall. I didn’t love how fast Molly fell for Sebastian because she knew nothing about him other than he was attractive. I also didn’t love the characters and found Molly immature. There was also some internalized misogyny that made this book hard to get through. So not for me, but maybe a different type of romance reader can find something to like!
Thank you so much for the chance to review this book it is was I was needing and I enjoyed it alot.. I very much look forward to reading more by this author and continue on with the series to see where it goes and what continues for the sisters..
What a cute holiday romance! I love the dynamic between the main characters, they felt super realistic and vibrant. It was really sweet to have a holiday romance that wasn't super materialistic, and I think a lot of people would really enjoy it!
Lovely Molly McKenna, fancies, Sebastian Tate, her extremely eligible boss. She adores him from afar. It's classic
unrequited love. Her colleague and male bezzy, Hunter, helps Molly pull off an extremely well-plotted scheme
to make Sebastian take notice. After all, three years have passed by.
Molly brings out the wonder of Christmas and love for those around her. This is a fast paced,, exciting story full
of glitter and hope. . Such a fun read.
I tried desperately to get into this book and couldn’t. It sounded like the perfect holiday-read. I am sad that it was not for me but I hope that it will be for another reader!
Thank you to Netgalley for this arc ebook in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
This book was difficult to get through. There are some unfortunate stereotypes around misogyny that I didn't appreciate too much (mum and dad to be specific).
The book also lacked something in the way of flow. It was honestly just tricky to get through and would not be my go to recommendation for a Christmas romance. Although I did love the 'Christmas' atmosphere I didn't love the romance and relationship itself.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the book. The blurb sounded interesting and the newest cover was cute, but that’s where it ended for me. I couldn’t connect with any of the characters. Molly was ridiculous with her love for Sebastian based solely on his looks. She knew nothing about him really and he never got her name right until he really needed something from her. The characters were very two dimensional and dull. And the fact that Hunter didn’t realize he loved Molly until she had her grand makeover to look “completely different” was messed up.

I had a difficult time getting into this one. It was a quick, easy read without an investment.
DNF @ 25%
I could not connect with the characters. Molly, who seems childish and the family dynamics are incredible toxic and self-absorbed. The mom is incredibly self-absorbed and rude to her children. I also don’t like how focused on physical appearance the characters are, repeatedly saying things about “getting hot” or what it takes to be sexy or have the wealthy life while enduring an unhappy marriage or relationship.
Others may be able to look past the childish dialogue and writing but I could not to get into the story.
I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book is well written and the characters are described well. This is a fast paced Christmas romance book. I absolutely adored the McKenna sisters and Hunter. This was a comedic sweet holiday romance. I absolutely highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. The writing style is phenomenal. This ebook is in stores for $3.99 (USD).
I don't get this book. Molly applies for a job and ends as a PA? DNF stopped reading after a few pages. DNF

I had to DNF at just over 30%. I couldn’t stand it! The characters were unbearable. Molly came across as extremely childish, naive and oblivious. Her mother was unbelievable! Very degrading towards her own daughter and very self absorbed, only caring about her families image. Sebastian comes across as a self absorbed boss who can’t even bother to learn her name. I wanted to try and finish this book but unfortunately couldn’t make it through.

I didn't really enjoy this book but others may find it to be a great one. It took me a while to get into this but I didn't get to know the characters as I usually do. I have never read anything from this author before so it may just be this one book that didn't go so well. It maybe just me. Sorry but I am only giving 3 stars
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this e ARC

It's probably just me, but this book probably wasn't of my favourite Christmas books. The main character just seemed a bit too blind to see what's in front of her and it went on for a bit too long. The transformation to Elizabeth was also slightly unbelievable.
Funny, light and heart warming, this is a nice Christmas read. A bit slow to get moving, the predictable nature of the storyline was actually part of the charm of this romantic, feel-good tale.
