This is the prequel of the Speak No Evil Trilogy. This is Emma and Bridge’s story. This is the perfect book to get a feel for all the characters and a nice spicy read as well. We got to see how they had their journey to get where they are currently. Loved every minute.

Bridge of Love is a novella prequel to the Speak No Evil Trilogy series and about Bridge and Emma’s story. It was okay, but I wished it was added to the first book. But it gets you hooked on the series.

Bridge must protect his best friend's sister, whom he has been attracted to forever, from someone or something out to get her.

I received an ARC from Sankofa Girl & NetGalley for my honest review.

Nana Malone never does wrong and this is no exception. Love the story and the relationship between bridge and Emma. Love the friendships that's explored as well. Great setup for the series though I would have loved it to be longer

When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day. Falling more in love with this author every time I pick up one of their books.

This was a short prequel to Bridge and Emma’s story. It did leave me quite excited to read the longer version of their story. This story had just the right amount of emotion and steam. This was my first book by this author and I am excited to check out more from them.

I definitely didn’t realize that Bridge of Love is a prelude to a series, so I would definitely tell you to keep that in mind for selection as well as this review.

Everything felt very busy even for a prelude. There were a lot of plot points that were introduced that could very well lead to an amazing story, but I’m also hesitant that it may over shadow the romance of the series. I’m not sure how many will be in this series, but I think that will greatly impact the integrity of each plot point. It’s a prelude, so it’s designed to reel you into the series. I just don’t know if I’m sold.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bridge can't stand that how attracted he is to his best mate Toby's little sister Emma. She's wild and crazy and he doesn't know if he has the energy or patience to be dealing with her. But when Toby asks Bridge for a favor he knows he can no longer resist her. This is a fun and exciting prequel to the series.

Thank you Netgalley and Sankofa Girl/Valentine PR & Literary Management for the opportunity to read this book.

Bridge and Emma’s chemistry positively sizzles! It was impossible to deny the attraction they felt towards one another. What an amazing start to the series.

Bridge of Love is the novella that precedes book one in the Speak No Evil trilogy.

It's short and sweet, like really short. Took me about 20 minutes to read from beginning to end and now I want to read the rest of the rest of the series!

Thanks to Sankofa Girl and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I do like prequels. I like to read the backstory in "real time" rather than "flashbacks" in the series. I enjoyed reading Bridge and Emma's history and it makes me want to read the rest of the series.

A short book in my opinion... But it does leave you on a cliffhanger ending.. And keeps you wanting more.... Now on to read the next book in this series London bridge...

I grabbed this to get a little insight into this series to see if it were something I'd be interested in it.

Bridge of Love gives us the perfect amount in this brother's best friend/best friend's sibling trope. With the way it ended, I can't wait to see what's in store. I absolutely love romances like this!

This is a trilogy and saw that only book one hasn't been released yet. I'll be shelving this for now, but added it to my TBR!

3.5/5

Super short novella and best friends sister romance. Its got the right amount of spice and the perfect prequel to Nana Malones next series.

Bridge of Love is a prequel novella and a brother's best friend romance with a bit of enemies to lovers vibe thrown in. This was a nice little tease involving some great characters, Bridge and Emma, who act like they hate each other, but underneath all that outward annoyance is something simmering beneath the surface. I am excited to dive into the series and see where their story leads and how long Bridge and Emma can deny their attraction!

OH MY GOODNESS!
I saw the cover and after I read the blurb I HAD TO GET this prequel! ASAP!
I've never read any book by Nana Malone and OH BOY how could this happen?
Why haven't I found her books earlier?

Well... this prequel WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
I really can't wait for LONDON BRIDGE!
The tension between Emma and Bridge! Awwww I need moooore!
And I need to find out more about the other guys too!
Bridge, Toby & Co. seem like a really irresistible group!
I'm INTRIGUED & HOOKED & HAPPY!
PERFECT PREQUEL!
Now excuse me while I'm going through Nana Malone's books and probably add them all to my TBR.

Thanks to Nana Malone for this ARC via NetGalley.

*This is my honest review in my own words.*

I liked the set up of intrigue and mystery in the book. What I didn't love was the alternating first person with long stretches of internal thoughts, and internal dialogue. I made for a lot of telling without much showing.

BRIDGE OF LOVE is the prequel novella in Nana Malone’s contemporary, adult SPEAK NO EVIL romantic suspense series, part of the multi- interconnected series with the author’s Hear No Evil, and See No Evil series focusing on three friends Ben Covington, Easton Hale, and Bridge Edgerton, known as the London Lords, and all members of The Elite-the uber rich and powerful of Eton Academy in London England. BRDIGE OF LOVE introduces the back story of Bridge Edgerton, and Emma Varma.

SOME BACKGROUND: Approximately ten years earlier, during their initiation into the group known as The Elite, Ben Covington, Easton Hale, and Bridge Edgerton lost their best friend and fellow Elite pledge Toby Varma as things quickly spiralled out of control. Seeking revenge against the people and families they held responsible for Toby’s death, Ben, East and Bridge walk a fine line between right and wrong in an effort to take down everyone involved. These are their stories.

Told from three first person perspectives (Emma, Bridge and Toby) BRIDGE OF LOVE reveals some of the back story and developing feelings between Bridge Edgerton, and his best friend’s younger sister Emma Varma. Emma Varma attends an all girls’ school, while her brother and his friends attend prestigious Eton College but Emma is a bit of a wild child, and her brother Toby worries about his sister’s partying ways. Begging his best friend Bridge Edgerton to keep an eye on his younger sister at a local concert, Toby had no idea he was about to inadvertently play matchmaker for two people who will be destroyed by Toby’s death.

BRIDGE OF LOVE is an introductory short story of family and relationships, friendships and desperation focusing on Emma and Bridge, and the lead up to what happened to Toby and why. The premise is intriguing; the characters are familiar. BRIDGE OF LOVE is a tease, leaving the reader wanting to know more.

I've always been curious about the dynamic between Bridge and Emma and this little prequel is a great insight into their chemistry. Looking forward to their books.

Bridge of Love is the prequel to Bridge and Emma’s story in the Speak No Evil world. This is my first book in the series so it’s my introduction to them all. I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on anything at this time by not having read any of the others, which always makes me happy.

This was a quick read and really got me interested in knowing what happens next for the characters. The only thing that confused me was their ages. I couldn’t figure out how old Bridge and Emma were. That’s the only thing that bugged me a little because I couldn’t figure out if Emma’s actions were appropriate for her age or not. BUT it wasn’t enough of a problem to knock off a star.

Bridge of Love is a teaser novella to set the stage for Nana Malone’s upcoming Speak No Evil trilogy, which continues Bridge and Emma’s relationship in the first book, London Bridge. From the description it sounds like it takes place a little further in the future, rather than picking it right after the cliffhanger ending. I hope the next book gives more context to some of the other stories that were introduced with the Elite and Toby’s confession.
