❤️ this is a follow on book in the Scarlet Drew book series. Scarlet now works .alongside her aunt Lil in the family ‘Firm’. This book follows on immediately from the last book which I love! There are quite a few strong characters in this book. I don’t want to go into the storyline to much and give things away. Literally couldn’t put this book down. There is none of Emma’s books that haven’t made me feel like that. LOVE her books so much!! 🚨 I read all of the Freddie Taylor book series and only just discovered I hadn’t read the last one !! Her Betrayal by Emma Tallon is a captivating, can't put down book!

I was drawn in from the very beginning and this book did not let me down! This is the third book in an unnamed series and is easily read as a standalone mystery.

Her Betrayal gives us peak into the lives of a crime family (mafia) in London. This book is fast paced with so many great twists. The story is so good and kept me on the edge of my seat!

I loved the characters and thought they were written so well! I could actually hear how they sounded in my head! (Why don't we say "Oi" in the United States? That word has depth!)

There was so much goodness in this book and my jaw dropped when I reached the end! WOW!!!!! I could not get enough of this book! I can't wait to see what happens next! Hopefully there will be a new book soon because I want to dive back in to this world!

Another brilliant book by Emma Tallon. I’m not sure how she does it but each book is just as brilliant as the last. A real gritty underworld storyline with plenty of twists and turns to keep me reading, I didn’t want to put it down. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens to the Drew family. I recommend this book and author 1000%, I can’t recommend highly enough

you will never be Disappointed buy a book from this author always leaves you wanting more. Lily wants revenge for her daughter and the burning down of her factory Scarlet is upset buy it as all .as it kept her fathers memory alive. DC Jenings still trying to get her for Jaspers murder and wont stop .and Scarlet gets a big shock when she finally knows what her new boyfriend John s job is the family have there work cut out others want a piece of there turf i so recommend this series

Her Betrayal is the third installment in the Drew Family series by Emma Tallon. Charlotte Drew, the second in command to her Aunt Lily as head of the Drew crime family, is still learning, even though she has grown up around the London crime underworld. When Charlotte’s boyfriend, John, walks into the interrogation room after a rival burned down their factory with cousin Ruby, Lily’s daughter, inside, she is convinced he has been working undercover to bring the Drews down. Charlotte didn’t know John was a copper, and John had no idea that Charlotte was a member of a crime family. While Charlotte had nothing to do with the fire, she is not out of the woods since another policeman, Jennings, is obsessed with bringing her down for the murder of Jasper who murdered her father previously.

Tallon develops characters that are interesting, and weaves them into scenarios that will keep readers on the edge. The storyline is good, and Tallon is very skilled in building suspense and adding twists and turns to keep readers guessing. While there is some violence as can be expected from a crime family, it isn’t over the top; there is also a bit of profanity, less than would be expected from a crime family, but there all the same.

Although there is enough explanation that this could be read as a standalone novel, it is suggested that readers pick up the previous two novels in the series to get the entire history and familiarize themselves with the characters. Most of us are honest and ethical, we won’t be able to relate to them since they are so different from us. However, they are wonderful characters and readers will find themselves wanting these ruthless gangsters to win in the end. Although most of us don’t really know what happens in the underground crime families, Tallon’s writing rings true and makes for fascinating novels.

If you’re looking for a good series, you’ll want to start with the Tyler Family series also by Tallon and then the Drew Family series. Plenty of great reading.

Oh wow what a fantastic Gripping tale, I could not put down this book that is so full of action so much going on throughout that will give you the shivers as you read. I loved reading and look forward to the next instalment from this author.

What an Explosive book by Emma Tallon the Drew family are reeling after the fire, the factory has gone Lily's daughter Ruby trapped inside by that evil Grace.I have to say this book had me gripped but i had to pace myself so i could really enjoy reading what the drews had in store for Grace because we know there will be revenge as Lily won't let it go.Scarlet is shocked when she comes face to face with a policeman to answer questions about the fire.BRILLIANT book well done to Emma Tallon now to wait for the next book 5*

This was the third book in the series, and I couldn't wait to finish it. It was really such a good read, that I can't wait to see where the Drew family goes in the future. Please don't let us wait too long for number 4. Highly recommended.

I cannot wait to see what comes next for Scarlett and Ruby who I particularly loved in this installment.

Emma Tallon is in a league of her own. I have read all her books and each one is beyond brilliant. Her Betrayal is no different. It sucks you in from the first page. It kept me awake because I just couldn't put it down. I cannot wait for the next one. Definitely worth more than five stars.

I am thoroughly enjoying the Drew series and each instalment just gets better! Ruby is proving to be a very complex character and I look forward to seeing how that will pan out in the future. Also really interesting that a few partners are now being allowed into the family fold. Definitely one of the best family/gangland sagas around.

When I saw Her Betrayal had been released I almost stopped reading the book I was half way through and delved straight in; This series has rapidly become one of my favourites!

Another visit into the lives of the Drew's, a notorious family who will stop at nothing to stay on top of the rat race and have a hefty share of revenge to dish out.

This book, amongst the whole series, is filled with constant action and the boldest of characters. I feel like I've gotten to know them so well as individuals that I find myself completely invested in each and every storyline. If they panic, I panic; If they're angry, I'm angry and so forth.

There are definitely times I find myself squirming at the level of violence but having opted for a gangland thriller, what else can I expect?!

Eagerly and excitedly awaiting the next instalment (no pressure Emma Tallon! 🙊).

A brilliant crime story read , reminds me of Martina Cole at her best. I love the fact that it gave us very strong , independent woman .

Firstly thank you Netgalley for this ARC. Emma what can I say I got so excited when I seen this book and omg what a page turner had to read it last night no sleep as wanted to finish it. A real gripping book

Wow! Just wow!! Where to begin? Let’s start with Freddie- I might’ve squealed with excitement as his little appearance in this one. Emma is fully aware of my obsession with this bad boy and it’s one I’m fully invested in. I have been so glad to see him pop up in this one.

I do also love Cillian and Connor Drew and the rest of the family in charge. They never fail to take me on an adventure. This has been one I’ve been completely unwilling to put down. Emma ended her previous book with an almighty cliffhanger and I have been so excited to find out what came next.

This is a book which has kept me on the edge of my seat. I’ve felt my heart thudding worrying about what may happen to one of my favourite fictional families. I’ve been so invested in this book I have devoured this in just a few hours.

Our queen of gangland has delivered once again and this is a book which rivals any competition among the genre. It’s so well written, you feel as though you are a part of the plot. The characters are developed perfectly- you definitely get the strong sense of loyalty from them.

This is a book which has literally taken my breath away. Emma consistently raises the standard with each new book. Everytime I say this is my favourite she releases another absolutely superb read.

After reading this, I definitely need more!! Hopefully, the Drew brothers and Freddie will cross paths… (fingers crossed). These are fantastic characters who at this point, I am fully invested in- I am praying there is more to come.

Emma is an author who definitely needs to be on the TBR. A superb author, queen of the genre and completely fantastic lady. I cannot say anything negative about this book or the characters in it. A definite five star read and one that I will 100% be recommending time and time again.

I absolutely need to go and fangirl Emma to make sure more is coming!
