Grateful to recieve this ARC. I loved this book, you can tell by the title that it would be a comedy, but it didn’t deceive! I was thinking it would be a romance, which it unfortunately is not, but i still really enjoyed it. Lucy was a great main character and i think she was written well.

book that I started with a tinge of sadness because here was the story of the last of the Callaghan sisters . A book I had looked forward to reading yet signalled the end of the raucous journey I had been on with all the girls. Stories that had given me love, laughter, sadness and the occasional crying down my legs as I struggled to contain the hilarity I felt. As the youngest Lucy had all the benefits of her sisters paving the way for her to be herself. They cherished her , nurtured her and allowed her to follow her own path in life. Lucy was the fun sister , the naughty aunt and the spirit that brought light when the darkness threatens to overwhelm her sisters. I really enjoyed Lucy journey to recovery and enlightenment , the stories her sisters told her of her antics. The fierce way they protected her as she recovered and the lengths they went to in order to facilitate her journey. The book was funny, sad, uplifting and as always with the authors books a joy to read. The epilogue was a fitting ending to the book and one I hope leaves the door open to catch up with the sisters in future as they grow older and disgraceful together. Am I Allergic to Men? is very funny, very raunchy and full of some of the best sister bonding I have ever seen written. Lucy is a free spirit and has a lot of sisters, she has an accident and thinks she is 17 instead of 30. I didnt love Lucy, she was too much for me but I loved how much she loved her sisters and isnt afraid to be who she is at every moment of every day. The book truly shines though when it has the sisters all together and bonding, singing, chatting, etc. I loved the sisters and how they bring out the best and worst of each other, and compliment each other completely.

Kristen Bailey does it again! A hilarious book (as always - Kristen's books always make me giggle!) A perfect pick-me-up with escapism, comedy, romance and brilliant characters. Bravo on another fabulous novel!

When I started this book, I was expecting a rom com. It's women's fiction.

I finished the book, but didn't enjoy it as much.

This one fell flat for me. The idea was so exciting but ultimately I did not enjoy the writing or storyline. I would be interested to see if the other books by this author were a bit more my speed

This is the first book of #KristenBailey’s I’ve read and it knocked my socks off! You don’t need to read the other books first. This one works as a standalone.
I haven’t read the first books in the series, but they’re on my TBR list, now!
I loved this funny novel and it’s a delight!

This time we read the final instalment from the Callaghan sisters (😭) which is Lucy’s story!

I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this one, we have all fallen in love with Lucys character over the previous 4 books but only seen snippets of her where as this book delved right in and showed us a real vulnerable side to her yet kept her still just as empowering, kick-ass, hilarious, loving and crazy!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again if you’ve not read this series you have to they are HILARIOUS!!
I would recommend reading them in order for the full effect 😂

Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get into this book.
I tried on several occasions and found myself drifting.
So…. As a rare occasion, I decided it wasn’t for me and didnt complete reading it.

When Lucy wakes up from a coma after being hit by a bus with no memory of the past and a legion of ex-boyfriends, she wonders if her pathological singleness translates to an allergy to men. Slightly dramatic but a fun story. This is definitely a unique take on the romantic comedy.
Evidently, this is the fifth book in a series. I had no trouble reading it as a stand alone. This was the first time I’d read anything by this author and I fully plan to revisit the rest of the series. Lucy was very entertaining and I found myself laughing out loud several times. I absolutely loved the family dynamic. It made me feel as though I was a part of it and I was sorry when the book ended. My favorite thing, however, was the fact that this book contained very little actual romance. It was a refreshing take on the “romantic” comedy and I found it absolutely amazing. I will definitely seek out the rest of Ms. Bailey’s books.
Note: I read both the e-book and the audiobook. I enjoyed both versions but the audiobook had a narrator that made the story come alive for me. Good job!

This was the first book I read by Kristen and I really enjoyed it. It was funny but also made me consider my life and where I am at and what I want from it. This was unexpected! It was the title of the book that gripped me first. I mean who hasn’t thought this at least once in their life? I didn't realise until I had finished the book that it was actually part of a series. It didn't matter though as I still thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't feel like I was missing anything without reading them.

What would you do if you woke up and couldn’t remember the last 10 years of your life? Well as we follow Lucy on her journey when this happens. Lucy’s stories of her life are hilarious and also quite oh my god but you can’t help but love her. I completely connected with her and wanted everything to work out for her. In places it was like reading about myself! I love how she was a very bold and out there character living life to the full just unapologetically herself which is refreshing to read.

Anyone with sisters will definitely relate to the relationships and childhood stories of the girls. It was a nostalgic yet feel-good read and I didn’t want to put it down. I did put it down because I didn’t want to finish it and also well life! Whether it’s Lucy, her family or one of her friends you will be able to identify both yourself and other people in your life in this story.

The story was written really well and evoked so many feelings it was a real rollercoaster. I thought I knew what would happen in the end but actually I didn’t so I felt it wasn’t quite as predictable as some other books I have read.

I highly recommend this book for anyone that loves a feel-good story and perhaps if you’re in a bit of a rut both reading and life. I feel like this will be life affirming and motivational for you to seize the day like Lucy and it’s easy to read. I will definitely read more by this author. Now I'm off to find the rest of the books in the series!

This speed through this, what a hilarious narrative. Such fun characters to keep you entertained throughout.

I wasn't sure what I would make of this book if I am honest, but I adored this book and read it super fast.

I was missing parts of the story as I have never read a book from this author before, but it did not spoil the experience. The writing was funny, quick witted and kept me engrossed.

Lucy’s story finally!

Lucy was always the fun loving, wild but loveable sister. The youngest of 5 sisters, Lucy takes on the world a little differently than her older sisters. Single, sexual and loving it.

Imagine waking up from a coma and not remembering the last 10 years of your life. Would your past self be happy with your current self? And how in the world did you get there?

Lucy has to try to connect the dots as she wakes up feeling like she’s 17 again, not the 29 year old woman she is. Who is she. And is she really as happy with their life she’s made, because looking ta it from her 17 year old eyes she’s not sure.

I was nice watching Lucy try to figure it out. Question herself and everything she’s being told. Also the epilogue was perfect. I’m so sad that these stores sound like they will be over. I’ll miss the Callaghan family.

This book was hysterical. I loved how crazy the main character was and the memory loss aspect was just chefs kiss.

One thing i love about Kristen Bailey's Books are her sense of humor and wit that fills her book after How much wine will my broken heart fix I've been a fan of her works and i can't wait to read more in the Callaghan sisters series.

I feel like I got duped! The cover, title and blurb made me think this was a romantic comedy. It wasn't. I didn't find Lucy funny and there was very little romance.

The title of the novel is was lured me in at first, I thought I would love this read. The romance didn't work for me that well between the two main characters. However I did quite enjoy the relationship Lucy had with her sisters and I enjoyed reading about that more so then the romance.

First off: The genre does say general fic and women's fic, however like many, I was expecting there to be a strong romance/rom-com leaning. There isn't! Plus, I didn't see anything to say this was part of a series...

However, once I got over the misconceptions, I did really enjoy this book!
It follows the hilarious journey of Lucy as she uncovers her own life history after waking up from a coma.

At times, she was a hard character to gel with, but her flaws helped with the comedy.

Overall, a fun story and I'm interested in reading more of this series.
