I have always enjoyed the artwork of Jim Shore, basically because it included quilt patterns and happy colors. Over the years I have collected several figurines for various holidays, that Shore has designed.

I was very excited to find this book that included quilt patterns, both pieced and appliquéd.
They were done in Shore’s happy, colorful, palette. The illustrations are clear and interesting.
The instructions are written in a manner which makes each project do-able.

As a quilter, I look forward to experimenting with these designs, in the near future. Winter seems like a good time to start a new quilt project!
