What a beautiful story right here! Lori Foster takes you on a journey that you will love! All the characters in this book will worm their way into your heart! 5 stars for this one!
This story centers around Yardley, she is in the wedding planning business in her town named Cemetery. She's got her best friend Mimi, who will have you laughing out loud quite a bit! Mimi has been Yardley's cheerleader since they were young. Yardley never knew her father, it's always been her mother Aurora and her Aunt Lilith, and to say she never felt worthy of them, as they seem to always tell her. When a man, Travis, and his sister Sheena, come to town asking Yardley to plan her wedding, she's instantly attracted to him. Follow their story, and get ready to feel the love that will blossom, while enjoying the fun that this town of Cemetery brings. And wait till you meet Elizabeth, she steels the show! Enjoy!

From the beginning, I knew this book was a 5-star winner. At times I chuckled out loud, at other times I had tears in my eyes, and at all times I thoroughly enjoyed the story. The characters, friendships (both new and old), the small town, Dodger, Kathleen, and so much more made for a great story. The secondary characters are wonderful.

Yardley is a wedding planner with dreams of her own HEA one day, but pretty sure it is never going to happen for herself. Still, she enjoys helping others fulfill their wedding dreams. She’s always doing for others and doesn’t realize just how much she is loved, not just by her friends, but the entire town. Except for maybe her mother and her aunt, who always seem to be criticizing her. Her friend, Mimi, is constantly singing Yardley’s praises. Maybe one day she’ll actually start believing them. Then she meets Travis, the brother of a new client. As they get to know each other better, Yardley wonders if maybe he could be her “one”.

A story of strong friendships, new and unexpected friendships, heightened understanding, new love, new beginnings, a rescued dog, and a HEA. There is some bad language and sex, but the story is awesome.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lori Foster is hands down one of my favorite authors & as usual has written another fabulous book!! Yardley Balenger is a wedding planner in Cemetery, Indiana. She meets Travis Long when he & his sister Sheena come to meet with her about Sheena’s wedding. There are such funny, quirky characters you will love including her best friend Mimi & Kathleen the mannequin who mysteriously shows up around town in different outfits. There’s also her ungrateful mother Aurora & Aunt Lilith that she finally stands up to at the end, everyone in Cemetery appreciates Yardley except them. Travis & Yardley are both so likable & a wonderful couple, you just wanted the story to keep going!! The best & cutest character of all was Dodger the dog Travis & Yardley found & rescued🐾. I love how the author always advocates & supports animal rescues & kindness to animals in all of her books. This book has all the feels, it’s funny, entertaining, heartwarming, heartbreaking, emotional, has loyalty, friendship. I received an arc from the author & Netgalley for an honest review.

Another winner! There wasn’t much not love about Yardley and Travis! All of the secondary characters are so interesting and important to the story. I really didn’t want it to end. At first, I wasn’t so sure where the story was going, especially with the town name being Cemetery. But, after reading about Betty’s story, it didn’t seem so weird. I loved Mavis and Kevin, Sheena and Todd, Betty, and even Aurora and Lilith. If you want a heartwarming, feel good story, this is the book for you!

The Honeymoon Cottege is the perfect book to kick off the summer of beach reads. The author weaves a tale of a small town girl who cares about and takes care of everyone in her life but just doesn’t realize how much she means to them! I received an ARC from the publisher and NetGalley and this is my honest review.
