Huge fan of these books and while I admit I had a pretty good feeling I knew who the bad guy was, there was 1 point where I almost thought someone else was, but then I breathed a huge sigh of release to know it was not who I thought. What really got me was how much George and Cassie still felt for one another after so many years apart. George took the news that he had a daughter way better than I would have if I was a guy and was told after 7 years. In the end love does conquer all.
I found this to be slightly different to norths usual books, however I’m a big fan and this book was brilliant, maybe one of her best
Another wonderful read by Ms Knight. This is a sweet and entertaining second chance romance. Cassandra is a princess and George was her bodyguard. They were attracted to each other and had a small fling, but then Cassandra had to go back home and return to her royal duties. Eight years later her life is in danger and she calls George because she knows she can trust him. Despite their break-up, George's feelings for Cassandra never really went away. When he sees her again he gets the surprise of his life and it is even more important to him now that he protect the ones he cares for. This was a well-written and enjoyable read with great characters. A little danger and action added to the excitement of the story. A very enjoyable and entertaining story for sure!

SEAL's Family Deal is a surprisingly charming second-chance romance with a little bit of suspense to help you keep turning pages. It starts eight years ago with SEAL George filling in for a sick friend as part of Cassandra's security detail on the princess' visit to the States. Their whirlwind affair lasts just ten short days, ending when Cassandra returns to her tiny European monarchy.
Eight years later, Cassandra, now widowed with a seven-year-old daughter (you can do the math, but Gina's parentage is never a secret to readers), phones George out of the blue: An assassination attempt on their lives has Cassandra worried that the threat could be an inside job. The only person she trusts to keep her and her daughter safe is her daughter's biological father, George. Hearing he's a father is a shock to the newly retired George, but he hastens to their side to protect them.
Turns out that the spark from years ago hasn't died, and the two fall back into the same pattern, sneaking sexy time while lamenting that they can never truly be together (Cassie wants to protect Gina and also doesn't want to cede power to a king, which George would be anointed as, and George doesn't want any part the the public circus such a position would entail).
In the meantime, George has his hands full trying to figure out who wants Cassie dead. The suspense part of the plot is mildly exciting but not particularly mysterious; the guilty party and the reason why are easy to figure out. Coronation Day is fast approaching, and as George grows closer to learning who wants to assassinate Cassie, they know their time together will soon end.
As characters, George and Cassie are both easy to root for. While I don't like that Cassie kept Gina a secret from George (and I don't understand why George isn't angrier about it), the author does a good job in showing us how complicated the life of a ruling monarch is. Further, Cassie's productive progressiveness is appealing, which enabled me--and George--to forgive her more easily.
I received an ARC of this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. Thanks!

SEAL's Family Deal by Katie Knight is a standalone romance that includes a second chance romance, a Navy SEAL, royalty and assassination attempts! What more could I ask for!
I though this book was absolutely wonderful! I loved the story. I thought the characters were engaging and well written. The romance was steamy and then there was the mystery and suspense.
I loved this fast paced book and was on the edge of my seat reading it! I definitely recommend reading this one!

Leslie North does strong alpha men like a boss! This book is no different. The suspense and history evolve and proves that two worlds can merge and can overcome major obstacles.
ARC provided by NetGalley for my honest opinion.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I liked this book, found the premise to be a bit different. George and Cassie were likeable but I didn't relate to either of them. It's a fun, relatively short read. 4 stars
Light flipped fairy tale with our SEAL falling in love with a princess - and of course, obstacles abound. Quick read, nothing graphic, a bit of intrigue fills things out.
I hate the fact that Cassie was content never telling George that he is a father. When she needs his help he is the first person she thinks of to call though. George is so patient with Cassie and his daughter. It was easy to fall in love with him. To me George is the best parts of this book.
