This was a quirky romance book. I loved the slow born aspect of the book but for me it had a bit too much character commentary that took me out of the srory at times. I did enjoy it for the most part.

Text and Confused was a quick and easy read, albeit sometimes confuzzling to me because I found out it was a part of a series after delving in. Although the bantering between main character’s was entertaining, the character development was lacking, and created a pall over my enjoyment.

I received an ARC from the author and publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the companion book to this one- the story of Archie and Holly. This book focuses on Toni, who is Archie's assistant and Holly's best friend. She has been very unlucky in love and is looking to change who she is and what she wants entirely. Enter two men - Cooper who looks like her past men and Sumner, the exact opposite type who is rich and polished. Miscommunication ensues and Toni is communicating with the wrong man but falling for him. I liked this one a lot, I loved the characters and the writing style. I hope there is another one coming for Coopers sister Rae-Ann.

This was a simple, quick read with some laugh out loud moments and a sweet romance. I enjoyed the character’s bickering and most of their interactions, I just felt a bit lost at times, I guess I should’ve read some of the previous books in the series because I didn’t feel like I really got a deep sense of who any of the characters were.

All in all, an okay read.

Actual rating: 3.5 stars

This was a very light and fun read, I breezed through it and didn't even notice the time passing until I reached the last page.

I really like the story, especially the whole texting misunderstanding thing, I also appreciate the fact that the author didn't try to drag it out longer than necessary because frankly it would've ruined the whole thing.
The characters were great although a little generic , I especially loved the dynamic between Cooper and his sisters, because although flawed, it showed that they deeply cared for each other.
The romance was fine, nothing exceptional but nothing that grates my gears either.

Overall it was a fun read and I enjoyed going through it.

This was a quick and fun read, perfect for a beach read or if you're needing something light and looking for a HEA.

I didn't really get on board with the way that Toni treated Cooper though, I feel he deserved better because he was nothing but consistent as a character and always a gent.

But it was nice to see Hollie, Faith & Archie again and I was excited to get more glimpses of them as I kept reading. Faith cracked me up as much as she did in Mistle Text.

A fast, fun, predictable read. This is the 7th book in the series and, while you don't need to read the previous books, I wish I had. I'm sure I would have appreciated the antics involving previous characters, like Archie, Holly and Faith (and the whole Faith Foundation), a lot more. Toni seemed like a hot mess with her love life and I wish she had just given into Cooper from the start, based on their flirty texts! While I was rooting for Cooper from the start, I did love Sumner's references to Succession and Arcade Fire!

I admittedly didn't make it past the fifth chapter. Cooper and Toni flirt like eighth-graders that got into their mom's Kahlua--it's clumsy and ham-fisted and not sexy. You don't need to finish the book to know they'll end up together after she tries to make herself have a relationship with supposedly more suitable Sumner. It is insulting to the reader's intelligence.

This is the sixth installment of An Accidentally in Love Story series. I've had the pleasure of reviewing the first couple of books and was excited when the opportunity to review this came up. It's such a charming and enjoyable series and I always have fun reading the books. This one was no different. This quick and lighthearted romance will definitely leave you with a smile on your face. Toni is ready to change her tune with the type of guys she dates and decides Sumner, handsome and well mannered, is the perfect guy and she needs to stay far away from bad-boy Cooper. She wants to start out slow with Sumner and decides texting would be the best way to begin. As they continue to "text-date", Toni really likes where this is going and feels Sumner is perfect for her. Only there has been a horrible mix-up and she has actually been communicating with Cooper, Mr Wrong, instead of Sumner this whole time! This was a fun and quirky story that had me smiling and at times laughing out loud. The cuteness and witty banter kept me engaged from start to finish and the chemistry between Cooper and Toni really sizzled. A really great addition to the series!

I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Quick and easy read. Wasn't bad but also wasn't a book to add to my most liked books. Story felt a bit lacking to me. Not sure if anyone else feels the same? If you're looking for a quick read would definitely recommend.

I loved it and I want to reread it even just I finished it
.
Tony appears in Mistle Text, another book in the series that I loved and made me cry a little. I liked the characters so much that I am happy to continue reading about them
.
Tony's family is amazing and crazy fun. After having been in bad relationships that, in addition to breaking her heart, left her a bit bankrupt , Tony decides to change the way she dresses and acts in order to attract only possible candidates to the right man. The one
.
But luck has strange ways of acting and the same day that she meet the perfect candidate, she also meet his total opposite that is her complete weakness with just one look
.
A mistake causes Tony to end up writing messages and getting to know and fall a little for the wrong man , without understanding if the brain or the heart are right.
.
Melanie Summers and Whitney Dineens books have great chemistry and the range of characters that appear in it is something to look forward to, I really enjoyed this book a lot and I hope I have time to read the others in the series they show so much promise
.
.
Thanks to Melanie Summers and Whitney Dineen for give me this great book in exchange for my honest opinion

This is on par with Melanie summers books. It's sweet and cheesy and romantic and just makes u feel warm inside. There's no spice or anything but it would make a good summer beach read . Cheesy scenarios and cheesy endings but all in all something to make women swoon over

Thank you to NetGalley for the chance to review!

After reading this, I think I'm definitely going to check out the series! However, you can definitely read this as a stand alone! This was a light clean romance!

This is one of those enemies to lovers reads and I read it in one sitting! Fast read for sure!

This was the first in the series about Cooper Flint and Toni Cappelli. I was drawn into their story immediately!

Toni has recently given up on the bad boys and those she finds herself immediately attracted to! She is taking a new approach to dating...enter Cooper Flint, not necessarily looking for a relationship, but definitely attracted to Toni right away...
When Toni's best friend's husband accidentally gives Toni the phone number for Cooper, Toni thinks she's actually texting a guy named Sumner, who is working for the same foundation....it turns out, she's texting Cooper and their witty banter takes on a life of it's own.. that is until Toni realizes the mistake and not only tells Cooper, but swears him off for good!

But in a last ditch effort, Cooper schemes with Toni's boss to get her alone and when he does, all bets are off. He tries to respect her space and her privacy, but he can't help but feel this vibe between them. Eventually Toni gives in and makes nice, but will she finally let her guard down and let Cooper in?

I really enjoyed this story and I would love to read more about their story!

Thank you @NetGalley and 33 Partners Publishing and Indigo Group for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This one was not for me. The writing wasn't bad, it was the storyline. I read this as a stereotypes on steroids book.

There was conflict in the character building. At first take, the male MC appears to be mild mannered and down to earth. Skip a few pages down and he is very forward with the female MC. There was not build in the writing for their first encounter. Or better said, I felt the male MC was a contradiction.

There was, in my opinion, at best making light of and at worst mockery of sexual orientation referencing a turkey baster. It was out of place and left a bad taste in my mouth.

There was no interesting plot point. It was just blah for me.

If I had to summarize in one word about this book, I would go with "basic".

I received this book for an honest review:

I really wanted to like this book more especially after I downloaded it. Once I began the story though I found myself getting caught up with the negativity part of Toni. I suppose I understood it really at the beginning or wanted to her reasoning behind her idea of men and the way they looked and her thinking that Cooper was just a contractor, and Summer was more because he was in a suite. Yet Cooper thought she was still beautiful even after getting splashed with water and having a bad morning.
The whole number thing thinking she was talking to Summer instead of Cooper was nice and added to the story but again every time there was something good she would have negativity about Cooper behind it even after she found out what type of person Summer she still was not willing to give Copper a chance. She was even rude to the man who owned the place the two of them stayed at for business before she finally started to turn everything around. The moments of the rom-com did not make up for the character's negativity throughout the book.

This book was not brilliant but wasn't that bad either. The writing style was engaging but the plot itself fell short and the story was needlessly prolonged.

This book follows Toni Capella, a self confessed lover of bad boys. She decides that from here on out shes not dating bad boys and aiming for a good guy, Enter bad boy who is actually a good guy Cooper. They start texting each other with her thinking he is someone else. Drama ensues. That is pretty much the plot.

After reading this book I instantly looked to the reviews to see if my thoughts were similar to others and I was honestly shocked at how many people rated this book 5 stars. I see now this book is a part of a series and I am wondering if there people have read the whole series and get something I don't but I found the book to be average.

I read it super fast, it was a quick read I'll give it that but to me the writing felt a bit basic. Something was missing. I didn't read it fast because I couldn't put it down it was more so that it just felt super easy. I could see this being like a netflix romcom because its pretty cliche and don't get me wrong I love me some cliche vibes but this was just too much.

I don't really get why Toni was so dark on Cooper even after finding out the truth to his past with Sumner. She just seemed like a bit of a mean person to be making so many negative assumptions about Cooper without even knowing him and just basing it purely off his looks when he clearly was a good guy in every other way.

This book just lacked a lot for me sadly. Maybe this would be a good read for someone just getting into reading or starting in the romance genre although even in that aspect there wasn't actually a hell of a lot of

Unfortunately I did not finish more than a pages of this book. While the plot explained was intriguing, within the first few pages I knew Tori was going to be an aggravating lead character, and unrealistic.
