Life Flight is a thrilling, pulse pounding romantic suspense. It starts from the get-go and never lets up until the very end. There are some very creative twists and turns, so just when you think you have it all figured out, something new emerges. I enjoyed the medical and law enforcement overlap as the case unfolded. I loved the intelligence of Penny and the protectiveness of Holt. The friendship builds slowly into something genuine and true. The secondary characters were introduced and set up well, so there are some great potential stories to come next, hopefully.
An extra special treat was the audiobook version with Sara Sheckells as the narrator. I enjoyed listening to the drama and intensity conveyed. All the characters were well represented and vocalized with great emotion and tone.

Thank you, Netgalley and Lynette Eason, for a complimentary copy of this book! This review reflects my honest opinion!

What a great way to start my reading year! I knew Lynette Eason wouldn't disappoint! So far, I have loved all books I have read. This one was no different. The plot was quite unique too, especially considering that the author write Christian (clean) fiction. I'm always amazed how great she is at writing a murder mystery without any swearing and including God in her stories without the story actually being centered around God. I believe that Lynette Eason's books would appeal to non-Christians and Christians alike. What I also loved about this book is that it had quite a few morally grey characters. I love, love, love books about/with morally grey characters. Thank you for this great book to start a year that follows quite a rough one.

This audiobook begins the author’s latest series titled, Life Flight.
Penny Carlton is a respected EMS helicopter pilot who finds herself in danger when a storm forces her to land in the middle of a mountain with her crew and a critically injured teenager.
Determined to do all she can to save the patient, she leaves the helicopter searching for help. What she didn’t expect was to encounter a fugitive that almost kills her. Thankfully, her special friend, FBI agent Holt Satterfield shows up.
From that start, this story is filled with action, twist and turns, dangerous people, whodunit, and a race to survive. Will Penny and Holt finally get the future they want together, or will the evil surrounding them be the winner?
This was a well develop clean, Christian , suspenseful romance worth the reader’s time. This reader is looking forward to what other stories the author has in store for us.

I had the pleasure of reading this book today. It is a well written roller coaster telling the story of a life flight pilot and her run in with a serial killer. When I started reading this story, I thought it was going to be a pretty straight forward story. I am usually pretty good at figuring out cat and mouse sorts of books, but this one threw me for a loop more than once.

I really enjoyed the ride and was thrilled to read the arc of the book.

The main character (Penny) is a smart, strong woman who keeps her head through many crazy situations. I am not sure how she managed to keep her sanity through it all, but if I ever find myself in a stressful situation, I want her with me to help me through it.

I love reading stories with a good plot and a strong female character and this book has both. If the rest of the books I read this year are half as good, it will be a fun ride!

Life Flight by Lynette Eason was an action packed thriller that was full of unpredictability and suspense! The villain took Penny and Holt on a cat and mouse like chase which kept the suspense angle high. Danger seemed to appear around every corner and the villain seemed to be one step ahead of our characters. It made for some tense situations that were surprisingly chilling. The relationship between Holt and Penny wasn’t really much of a focal point of this book, so I wouldn’t say it was heavy on romance, but they spent a lot of time together and there was a growth in their relationship by the end of the book. The conclusion of this book was really intense, chilling, and full of suspense. It delivered that nail biting ending that I love as a Suspense Reader! I listened to an audio copy of this book and I liked the narrator for the most part.

Strong and diverse characters, interesting plot, a satisfying ending with a twist - Life Flight easily checks all the boxes and puts this one on my favorites shelf in 2021. Highly recommended! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Notes: Clean read - No sex, No foul language, No gore, and absolutely brilliant and can’t wait for the next installment in this series.
