Such an adorable, funny, sweet, beautiful, and charming fairy-tale love story. With hilarious, and loving characters. This story captured my attention and held it until the end. I loved this story!

Diana Parker has just accepted a job as a nanny for five year old Milo the son of a very wealthy couple in Aspen Colorado. She desperately needs the money to help pay for her sister’s medical bills. The requirements for the nanny position are many and she has exaggerated her qualifications to get this position. So Diana is just going to have to figure out how to get through this job.

Griffin Windsor is England’s most eligible bachelor. He is in the area to help out his brother. And when these two meet you can feel the attraction. He is so down to earth, despite his upbringing. He is charming, sweet and playful. These two have such great chemistry and I loved their banter. But sooner or later she is going to have to come clean.

Everyone needs to read this to enjoy all the fabulous details.

Not my favorite from Sariah Wilson, but another cute read. I know that I can always rely on her for lighthearted romances that feel a little different than the norm. The concept of this one was a win, but the execution left a little to be desired.

Diana didn’t like to lie after being raised by her con-woman mother, but she couldn’t tell the truth that she was a nanny when she met one of England’s most eligible bachelors Griffin Windsor.

Earl of Strathorne Griffin Windsor was in Aspen hiding out from his grandmother while helping his brother out and hopefully not lose his trust, but he couldn’t get Diana Parker out of his mind after meeting her during a charity dinner.

Read this slow and savor it because Sariah Wilson has the funniest little humor bits that she slides in ALL OVER. She’s hilarious! Great story!

Diana Parker is the daughter of an infamous con-artist mother but has renounced the lifestyle she was brought up in. When her sister becomes seriously ill, she needs to make fast money. In desperation, she lies about her qualifications in order to secure a nanny position in Aspen. There, she meets the impossibly charming Griffin, Earl of Strathorne, who makes her question everything she's always thought about trust and commitment.

Once I got past the initially questionable ethics of lying to get a job involving a child, I really enjoyed this story. There was so much mutual pining and so many swoon-worthy moments. I loved Griffin's cheeky banter immediately and really empathised with Diana. Of course, Milo stole every single scene he was in. His first meeting with Sophie will go down as one of the funniest things I've read this year. Both children have obsessions. I won't spoil these for readers, but needless to say, they were hilarious.

A few of the supposed Britishisms and Americanisms were odd. I'm English but have good knowledge of American English and I knew all of the things they were each so befuddled about at times. But that's a small thing.

When I tell you I sobbed when Diana and Sheila had their talk? It was such a lovely moment, and I loved the found family storyline. Even with the inevitable conflict, the plot never felt forced. Ultimately this was a sweet modern-day fairytale.

Thank you Net Galley for an ARC of Cinder-Nanny by Sariah Wilson. This is a Cinderella retelling. Cinderella was my favorite story as a child, and this author did this retelling really well. Very entertaining with several storylines.

Cinder-Nanny is a modern day spin on the classic Cinderella fairy tale. Diana finds herself telling some fibs in order to nab a high-paying, short term nanny gig in Aspen in the hopes of securing her ailing sister the funds for a necessary transplant surgery. During her stint – Diana finds herself mingling with the rich and famous – and inadvertently becoming acquainted with a British Earl lying low in the same resort…

A hallmark holiday movie-esque plot unfolds, with Diana and the Earl continuing to cross paths and fall for one another. Add in some adorable kiddos, Diana’s grapple with her desire to be truthful and her desire to save her sister and you have yourself a sweet and lighthearted romcom.

I liked all of Sariah Wilson's previous books and was really looking forward to this one. However, this did not draw me in and left me wanting more. It was just too sweet, slow and insta love for my preferences. I expected a little bit more of a fairy tale. There was one character that cracked me up and was a bright spot - the child she nannied for. Picture the SNL Debbie Downer skit - that is this kid. Even though it missed the mark for me, I still look forward to more from her.

What a quick, fun read! Very Cinderella-ish with references to iconic scenes from the movie thrown in by our MC’s. The “help” ending up with the “royalty” is a classic trope that never gets old for me!

Milo and Sophia were so cute! As an early childhood educator, I was pleased with how the author portrayed Diana’s approach to Milo’s education. I had no idea what dysphasia was so I learned something new too!

I like a bit more “steam” in my books, but the romance was sweet and well done. I loved the ending and the laughs (and heartbreak!) along the way. A solid read for a mental escape where can let our fairytale imagines free!

I really wanted to love this but it just wasn't for me.

I did enjoy the backstory of the main character Diana and how she ended up in this predicament. Her love and loyalty to her sister drove everything she did.

The kids were adorable, with just enough drama and sass to make them real.

I think it was just too slow of a slow burn for a clean romance. And they magically fall in love after only a few weeks? It just wasn't super believable.

This story lacked the Sarah charm found in her other stories. This was bland with no depth. It was not engaging and the characters were very 2D.

The chemistry between the two was non-existent and I didn't get the need for all the secrecy from her end. It made no sense and was just causing drama for the sake of it.

As her sister's medical bills pile up, Diana needs a high-paying job pronto, so when the opportunity arises to accompany a couple to Aspen to be the nanny for their precocious little boy, she doesn't think twice. Who cares that she is highly UNDERqualified? She's not happy telling lies but she will do anything for her sister. The perks are amazing and she manages, much like Cinderella, to end up involved not with a Prince, but with an Earl (what the hell is an earl again?!)

England's most eligible bachelor is wary of gold-diggers but he's nevertheless falling for Diana. He's there with his niece incognito but confides in her. Sooner or later she'll have to be honest and come clean ... will this fairy tale have a happy ending or will Diana turn into a pumpkin so to speak?

In this cute Cinderella/My Fair Lady mash-up retelling, you get a sweet, swoony fairy tale. I appreciated that this Cinderella had a "shady past" but the earl is right out of a Disney movie. You add two adorable little kids and you get as Hallmark-y as can be. 

It's obviously very predictable - you can see the "plot twists" a mile away, but if you want a sweet book, look no further, this is for you. Very cute!

Side note: if you are looking for spice, this has Disney movie levels.

“Cinder-Nanny” Sariah Wilson’s newest release was so cute! I wasn’t quite sure when I first started reading, but Diana and her interactions with Griffin and Milo, the kid she was nannying, just became so wholesome and priceless and I couldn’t stop reading. Milo and his mom were absolutely hilarious and I enjoyed Wilson’s written descriptions of them.

I thought the acknowledgment of it being similar to a Cinderella story as soon as Diana and Griffin had their meet cute was on the nose and very funny.

I’m glad that no one was bad in this book except for Diana’s mother (only mentioned) and Griffin’s mother (only seen for a short scene). I think that the lack of bad characters and just having action driven by Diana and Griffin made this a truly memorable book for me.

A brilliant retelling of Cindrella. I really enjoyed this and loved the amount of raw, honest humour throughout. It was well written, the characters were well fleshed and it made me feel good!

Cinder-Nanny was a modern re-telling of cinderella with a twist if I may say so myself. The story follows Diana who has mounting medical bills and takes a job she is not qualified for in Aspen by overplaying her qualifications. I was laughing out loud reading this story and the characters were so relatable., the banter so believable and I couldn't stop laughing . Sariah gave us a romance with a different angle that is a fresh breath of air.

This was a cute twist on the classic Cinderella story, but overall it just wasn’t for me. Even though it is told in first person from Diana’s perspective, I still didn’t understand some of her decisions and motivations. She had a very complex background which was integrated decently into the story, but some things still didn’t make sense. And I guess I can attribute this to the fairytale vibes of the story, but most of the characters were either too good or totally evil, which led to some frustration because things were often resolved too neatly despite the buildup of tension. When I was about three quarters of the way into the story, I realized almost nothing had happened—it is nearly entirely character-driven which can get dull at times.

This is the second book I’ve read by Sariah Wilson, and although this one wasn’t my cup of tea, I really enjoyed the other one (The Seat Filler), and I plan on giving more of her books a try. 2.5/5 stars

I have many great things to say about Cinder-Nanny! It is a sweet and swoony romance by Sariah Wilson, so going in, you know that it will be clean (a few kisses), but you always hope that maybe this time, she will surprise you and things will move a bit quicker and maybe, just maybe… it might be a bit more?

Cinder-Nanny has the elements of Cinderella everyone knows and loves, with the shoe that slips off and the charming duke kneels down to help her put it on - and he is a duke, not a prince. Our leading female Diana isn’t an unwanted step daughter, but doesn’t have a great family life. Charming duke Griffin is helping his brother out with a big task when the two meet, and though they try to stay friends, there is an undeniable attraction.

This is a very adorable and quick read that will hook you in and you won’t want to put it dow. I highly recommend it, especially if you’re a fan of her other books!

As the two get closer, Diana knows she needs to tell him about her past, including about her criminal mother. Will it affect their future?

This was a cute book but probably not my favourite by the author. The chemistry between the two characters was a bit lacking and Griffin seemed to be too forgiving in my opinion. If the premise of a twist on Cinderella is appealing to you, you might enjoy this one!

Diana lies her way into a nanny position and befriends an earl. Griffin is an earl that is babysitting his brothers secret child so that their grandmother doesn’t find out. This was not my favorite book, mostly because their entire relationship was built on big lies. I know Diana confessed but it was frustrating to read.
