I had heard about this book and the advance buzz it was generating. I am glad that I got the opportunity to get my hands on it. I believe this is the debut novel from the author. What a ride!

The story moves at breakneck speed at most points. Characters go in and out as the story moves between a family saga from the past to a dystopian present. The latter didn't work for me as much and I would have preferred a lot more of the former. The bits from the past are entertaining and engaging and the ones from the present feel disjointed and break the overall tone of the book.

Enjoyed the book overall and looking forward to future works from the author
