'Fly, Little Bird, Fly', this story focuses on a baby bird, who's frightened of flying, overcoming their fears.
This story has excellent writing, beautiful illustrations.; it's lovely, but forgettable. Young children will adore this story. I'd also recommend using the book for ages between 8 and 11, to discuss and introduce topics such as fear, and overcoming one's fears.

Thank you to netgallery for allowing me to read such a beautiful story.
In love with the fluffiness of this storybook! Kudos to the author and the artist for all the efforts put in in bringing out such a good storybook! Pleasing to the eyes as well as a good read out aloud story, this book is a unique one which needs its special place at homes, schools and libraries. It's quite inspirational for kids as well!
Thank you, Clavis Publishing, for the advance reading copy.
Review to come in 2-3 weeks on blog, a bit later on Amazon/Goodreads.
I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
I just couldn't resist this adorable looking book when I spotted it over at Netgalley. I just love stories about finding out who you are. About animals.
In this cute book we meet a little bird who is deadly afraid of flying. His parents and his brothers/sisters do encourage him... but he just doesn't dare take the big big leap into the sky and flap his wings. I found it so sad for the little bird that he just never dared, that he would rather stay in the nest with new brother/sisters then be free. So I was kind of happy with the event that took place some time after. Curiosity got the better of him, and instead of the saying Curiosity Killed the Cat, it woke something up in our little bird. He found out that there were other ways and fun things to see.
While I did love seeing what he discovered in this gorgeous city (and definitely wanted to step into the book to experience these things as well) I was also eagerly waiting for the moment for him to figure out that flying isn't so bad. I mean, I wouldn't mind if he didn't and just kept on with his journey.. but it just felt weird seeing a bird not fly (I know penguins and ostriches, but this is a bird that is supposed to fly).
The ending just made me smile! So much! It was adorable and cute and made me go awwww a lot! I was so happy for the bird and his family. And I wish I could be there for all the new adventures our little bird will have.
The illustrations were just gorgeous and I love the style, the colours (it was so beautiful and bright). Some of these illustrations I would love to have a print in my house.
All in all, a wonderful adventurous story about a little bird, you will be rooting for this little guy.
A sweet read about a Little Bird who is afraid to spread his wings and fly! I think this is a great story about putting aside one's fears and finding the courage to embark on your own path and discover new things. Definitely a book that many of us can resonate with and the illustrations are beautiful.
Cute little story, but I felt bad for the bird. He was obviously very scared and he had to see the world before he had courage. I wish some of his family birds would have affirmed that it’s okay to be scared.
A chick isn't confident enough to fly, until an accident takes him away from the nest, leading to a minor adventure that manages to instil just enough confidence in him. It's not unpleasant, but has a kind of been-done-before-and-perhaps-better feel.
Cute illustrated hard cover book, that has a lesson on overcoming a fear.
This a sweet read, only 32 pages long. Each page has nicely done illustrations to go along with the narrative. The book is 9 x 12, perfect for little hands to hold.
Made for beginning readers, or you can read it to your little one!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Clavis, and was not required to give a positive review.
