Throughly enjoyed the book and the two leads of the book. I appreciate that the relationship wasn't taken to fast. My one comment is that it seems like there was also potentially another past story line for the female lead, hinted at the beginning of the story that never went anywhere

HOT FOR ME is the fourth instalment in Tam DeRudder Jackson’s contemporary adult BALEFIRE erotic, rock romance series focusing on the members of the rock band Balefire. This is bass guitarist for Balefire Adam Tron, and pop singer Christy Valor’s story line. HOT FOR ME can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous storyline is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: The events of HOT FOR ME run parallel to, and over lap with the events of book three WILD FOR ME.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Christy and Adam) HOT FOR ME follows the building romance and relationship between bass guitarist Adam Tron, and pop singer Christy Valor. Adam Tron is a fan of Christy Valor, and insisted that their manager offer Christy a spot on their upcoming tour but our heroine had no idea it was Adam who pushed for her presence, a push that would ultimately pull our couple together. As the tour picks up steam, rumors begin to surface about a possible break up , a break up caused by the appearance of Christy Valor but all is not well in Christy’s past, a past that is about to reveal a secret she has hidden for close to ten years. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Christy and Adam, and the potential fall out as Christy struggles with the demons from her past, demons that refuse to let go, forcing Christy to walk away from the man that she loves.

Christy and Adam’s attraction to one another is immediate and intense, but like in the previous story lines, Balefire’s manager begins to cause trouble for the members of the band. Christy’s manager is constantly running interference with our story line heroine, interference that reveals a much deeper connection and meaning .As two opposing forces work to keep our couple apart, Christy and Adam realize that not everyone is happy with their relationship, going forward, including the fans, paparazzi, and gossip sites. The $ex scenes are numerous, erotic, passionate and seductive, without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, all of the members of Balefire play secondary and supporting characters, as well as the group’s manager Garrett Phillips, and Christy’s best friend and manger Gretchen Hoff; the band’s intern Annabelle Stewart, and Christy’s costumer Steve.

HOT FOR ME is a story of family and friendships, betrayal and jealousy, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is captivating and entertaining; the romance is spicy and hot; the characters are energetic, dynamic and engaging.

This book drops us into the love lives of the “greatest rock band on the planet”. This was a new-to-me author, and I’ll definitely be reading more by her since this was great. Hot for Me was my first read in the Balefire series, and while it definitely works as a stand alone, it took me a while to catch up on all of the other band member’s names and back stories. We are quickly introduced to Adam Tron, Balefire’s bassist, and the pop star they’ve invited to join their tour, Cristy Valor. Adam and Cristy have immediate chemistry, but it was all sex for quite some time. I didn’t think I was going to root for them since they were both so emotionally closed off, but when we hit the last third of the book - hot damn! Adam falls hard and he enters into serious swoony hero territory. I love a hero that falls hard and completely, and Adam is all in. “I’m in love with you. If you run again, I won’t make the same mistake of staying behind…I’ll follow you until you believe that you’re worth all the love I have in me to give.” *Sigh* Then later, “The happiness on her face gave me my heartbeat.”

Cristy has some serious, understandable, trust issues, and I thought she was going to fall into “not enough groveling” territory, but the way Cristy and Adam find their way back to one another is really beautiful and satisfying.

My only critique is that the ending ran on and on, most of the last 10% of the book could have been condensed in a shorter epilogue once the main conflict was resolved.

I received this free ebook from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

4/5:

Book# of the Balefire Band Series, we FINALLY got Tron’s Story! We’re given a sneak peek of their relationship in Book 3, but ugh Adam Tron & Christy Valor are the perfect couple! They both have to question whether a relationship with another infer is manageable, and Tron has to fight harder for some hidden secrets Christy is struggling over. Yet again, we get annoying antics from now both of their managers who seem to want to break them up.

Ugh this story was honestly the cutest. Jack may be the sweetheart of the band, but Adam is incredibly adorable and just 100% no-holds-barred into Christy. They have a very immediate sexual chemistry and the book had a weird twist regarding Christy’s secret, but overall I loved the series and hope Garrett’s story in the Fall of 2022 is just as great!

Thank you NetGalley and Warrior Romance Press for an eARC copy of Hot for Me by Tam DeRudder Jackson, in exchange for my honest review!

This is book 4 in the Balefire series about a rock band on top of the world. Play for Me, Sing for Me, and Wild for Me were the stories of three prior band mates - Jack, Blu and Dakota and their finding happiness.

Hot for Me belongs to Adam Tron, bassist for Balefire. Tron is the last man standing of the band in terms of his singledom and manager Garrett I continues to line up the ladies each night after Balefire concerts. When Tron says he wants Cristy Valor on tour with the band, he’s enamoured by the pop star, from her clothes to her vibrant personality. Cristy makes it clear she’s around for a good time rather than a long time. Letting people in means a closeness she can’t afford.

Hot for Me has the rocking good vibes I’ve come to expect from Tam DeRudder’s Balefire rock series. Concerts, tour stories, stars behind badly, the band members and their ladies, good times and sexy times between our main characters, and some tension that makes you come back for more. Tron has been one of the standout characters in this series, and he’s all in on this one, well and truly ready. Cristy is really skittish, and it’s pleasing to see the bravado set aside for Tron in this story.

Next up in the series is Garrett the douchebag manager’s story. Now this is going to be interesting, given what he’s put the girls in these four books through.

I’m sad to say that this series was a one book hit for me. I couldn’t even finish this book because I was bored, so I skipped from chapter 10 to 35

Finally Adam Tron gets to meet a girl, or rather a strong willed independent woman matching him in all areas. A superstar in her own rights, Cristy joins Balefire on their tour and things get hot.

Grumpy Garrett is back and we also meet Cristy's manager Gretchen who's keeping a tight leash on her, causing enormous frustrations for Adam Tron.

Again an enjoyable easy flowing read by DeRudder Jackson completing the story of the four band members of Balefire. I thought this would be the last in the series, or possibly followed by a 'retrospective and now' story about their first drummer, but apparently their manager Garrett is getting his own story in Book 5.

I mainly picked this up for the book cover but god DANG this was such a fun ride! It was great curling up in my bed while doing online school and just getting sucked into the characters’ world and their relationships

Another great installment to the Balefire series.

Tron is the bassist for Balefire, the biggest Rock band in the world.

Cristy is a huge pop start with some skeletons in her closet.

When these two hook up while Cristy is on tour with Balefire it's hot. But it quickly becomes obvious that it's more than just a hook up. But Cristy can't reveal the truth for fear of Tron running.

It took me a little bit to get intersted in Cristy and Tron. But once I did, i couldn't wait to see what happened.

Tron was the perfect blend of guy with a big heart. But disguises is with his Rock god persona.

Cristy was an interesting character too. I loved getting to know her and her secrets and woah were they big ones.

I loved that the author brought attention to women that doesn't get enough attention but in a very delicate way.

I love this series and plan to read the next one even if it's about stupid Garrett.

As always, please check triggers before reading.

Usually I don't read books in the middle of a series, even if they're standalone ones, because I like to know what happened with the other characters in the previous stories. I'm glad I did because I enjoyed it and I definitely want to read the other books before this one!

Cristy is a pop star who joins the hottest rock band on tour. Sparks fly with her and Adam Tron, the bassist for the band. I adored Cristy from the jump. I found her to be a dynamic character between the persona she portrayed on stage and who she was with friends/Adam.

I'm glad that Tam didn't play into the stereotype of portraying Cristy as a "diva" because it's a played out trope. And honestly labeling women as "diva" or "divas" is rooted in sexism/misogyny because no one says anything about men in the same position.

I just loved Adam. He was perfect in this book. I loved that he cared about her as an artist and was the driving force behind her being on tour with them. Nothing she could've told him would've made him love her any less. Everyone needs an Adam in their life 🥰

My one critique of the story is I wish her secret had been revealed sooner. I would've liked to see that discussed more in the story especially given how real of an issue it still is today. It felt secondary to the plot and I wish it had been intermixed more.

Thank you to @netgalley and Tam DeRudder Jackson for the ARC!

I have read all of the books in this series and I have adored them all. I lucked into finding Tam DeRudder Jackson on NetGalley and have just fallen in love with her books. I thought this would be the final book in the series, but nope, the sleazy manager is going to get his own. I cannot wait to see how Tam will be able to make me root for him when in all of the previous books I have loathed him! Ah, but that is for the future, as fo Hot For Me, it lived up to all of my internal hype and I really enjoyed it. You don't have to read the other books to enjoy this one, but I highly recommend it because they are just that good. Thanks NetGalley for an advanced copy - I love reading books before they are released!

Rock Star. Check.
Pop Star. Check.
Part of the world’s biggest Rock band. Check.
Pop Queen Royalty with checkered past. Check.

This time it's Adam's turn and his lady is most definetly in the Pop World and one of it's most bonafide stars.

Who would have thought these two would have gotten together? Not to mention, who was going to “rock” their world. Had a good story and you got to see the rest of the band to and their Ladies, and their no-good trouble-making manager. Had some new villains to dislike, though some may have questionable loyalties. And some good allies to. There was a rough story line or two for them and you got to see how they coped and dealt with the fallout as it came to pass.
So, when you get a chance check it out and check out the rest of the series to. You’ll be glad you did. Enjoy.

This was another great read in the Balefire series! Every book in this series does not disappoint. This story revolves around Tron and I loved the introduction of Crissy and seeing their story unfold. So much chemistry and a beautiful story of learning to trust. A page turner! I highly recommend the whole series.

Balefire rock band is still going strong. This time they have a female on tour with them.

Adam is the bassist of the band. He is the only one left standing and is still playing hard. That is until Christy, a successful pop star joins them on the tour. She turns his world upside down. She is a tease, but he is a patient man on a quest to find out what secret she hides under her confident and sexy facade. When they get together, they are explosive and all is going well until she runs away from the tour. Her past is revealed, but is not a deterrent to Adam. He always gets what he wants. He wants her, but will she trust herself enough to trust him?

The storyline is good, but it takes ages before Chrsty's secret is revealed. When it does everything kicks off and the story becomes more interesting. Both their managers have a part to play in what's actually happening. Garrett is not portrayed very well at all, but at least he is honest about the reasons for his behaviour. I still prefer Jack's and Blu's stories. This is quite a good read once the "get to know" each other is out of the way.

I received an eARC from Netgalley and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

3.5
-Not gonna lie, I thought this book was sort of reverse harem typa thing (I was wrong unfortunately because this is actually a series and I read this first???). It actually can be a standalone really.
-It gave what is supposed to give. It was pure seduction from the start. I love the bubbling attraction that Cristy and Adam have.
-Overvall, it was okay (but nothing too special). I was expecting some kind of angsty drama when the conflict happen and before that.
-It was an easy read and very interesting to read.
-Its instant attraction which isn't really for me sooo.
-Most mentioned words: Rain of lingerie
-Oh and its dual POV and short chapters which I very much liked and enjoy.

Hands down one of my favorite rock star romances. The worldbuilding is well crafted and described in such detail that you really feel like you're a part of the story. Tam did a beautiful job of describing each of the side characters while also addressing all of those ever favorite side characters that help round out a story. The serious one, the jokester, both were well written and showed genuine concern for the main characters in the story. The dialog in the book was well written, and felt natural.

The relationship between Cristy & Adam is entrancing and believable. They address many relationship concerns with the respect and admiration that a genuine real life relationship would have. The spice between the two of them was beautifully handled and done in a manner that you could feel their relationship ship and grow throughout the book, The books climax and subsequent handling of said climax left me feeling like it was well wrapped up and a complete story. There wasn't a moment where I felt like something wasn't going to be resolved or that the female main character was going to be handled in a disappointing manner. The love felt real, the relationship felt fulfilling, and the music they made together was beautiful.

Cristy comes through as a beautiful and well rounded character. She's plagued by things from her past but rarely lets it get her down. She handles the relationships around her with a type of grace that seems natural and fulfilling.

Adam is a somewhat growly beautifully complete male counter part to Cristy. He tries to break down barriers between them in a manner that shows emotional intelligence beyond his years and he handles every twist and turn with grace. There are moments where you think the might drown in his emotions but he battles through them.

The way the "faults" if you could even call them that, that arise with the female main character(Cristy) are handled in a very respectful and loving manner. All of the characters that are intertwined with the main characters show emotional depths and genuine concern for both of the main characters.

4 1/2 Stars for the rockstar and pop princess!

I just loved Adam and Cristy! Adam is this big strong silent man who only does one-night stands ... that is until Cristy, the princess of pop, joins Balefire's Tour. The attraction between Adam and Cristy is insane. Maybe they can have a little fun on tour without getting their hearts involved ... and then go their separate ways. Cristy has secrets that she knows will wreck her career if they come out and she will do anything to keep those secrets. I just loved the banter between all the characters ... especially the bandmates. And Garrett, their manager, made me so mad .., what a jerk!

This is book 4 in the series and book 3's timeframe is the same. I would have liked the 2 books to become a duet and have both love stories in both books. I think I would have better understood what was happening with Dakota and Annabella as compared to what was happening to Adam and Cristy in the same timeframe. I hope this makes sense. Anyway .., this is a great series and shouldn't be missed.

This was my first foray into the Balefire series, but I’ll happily go back to read the first 3 stories of this series! Hot For Me follows the story of Adam Tron and Christy Valor to their HEA.
Adam Tron is bassist for the world’s most popular rock band, Balefire. Christy Valor is arguably the world’s biggest pop star. Combing these two acts should be aces -guaranteeing sold out shows and epic rock and roll escapades. And it is evident: these two acts are a potent combination… but pale in comparison to the molten heat burning between Adam and Christy.
But internal & external forces will test this couple: paparazzi, fans, jealousy, professional rivalries, underhanded managers. They can’t seem to catch a break! Can Adam’s patience carry him through their trials? Will Christy find the courage to deal with her past as it haunts her present and threatens her future?
I *love* this story - the chemistry is off-the-charts between the two MCs. I love the sassy exterior, but truly vulnerable trope. And hats off to the author for addressing a real-world issue (child brides) in the story. I love how each of the characters handle this major issue together.
