Oh this just gets better and better! The next instalment of this great new novel leaves me with even more questions and an even bigger sense of suspense. Just what have Jane and David been up to? What is going to happen to Lucy? Will Brittany get married? Will Kit and Ella admit their feelings? But more importantly will Rufus be found before Pirate catches him? 😂
I loved the slowly folding plot lines, drawing me in and I hate having to wait for the next instalment; I’m so impatient! I’m really invested with this group of friends and I can’t wait to see how everything plays out.
If you enjoyed part one you will love part two!
We still have Ella for the time being working for horrible Wanda.
The lovely Kit is helping Ella set up her new venture.
Oh and there is hilarious hen do!
This part is action packed and some real laugh out loud moments.
Roll on part 3
A Brilliant second instalment of the sandy cove book, I was really looking forward to part two after reading part one in one sitting. It hasn’t disappointed and has kept me guessing what’s going to happen. Yet again finished in one sitting, now eagerly awaiting part Three so I can find out what happens.
A Wedding at Sandy Cove: Part 2 by Bella Osborne
I received an advance review copy for free thanks to NetGalley and Avon Books UK and I am leaving this review voluntarily
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a bride in search of the perfect dress must be a total pain in the bum…
Wedding dress whisperer Ella is striking out on her own. After years of taking orders from the owner of the bridal shop where she worked, she will answer to no one.
Except the brides, that is.
Helping to make the dream of running her own business a reality is handsome builder Kit, the man she mistook for her blind date. But is it strictly professional between them or is there more behind Kit’s passion for this project than meets the eye?
This is the second part of A Wedding at Sandy Cove and I would recommend making sure that you have read part one before starting on this. A lovely read that I finished in less than an hour. It is difficult to write a review without giving away any spoilers from part one, but if you enjoyed part one then you will definitely enjoy this. A great read that will have you smiling with all of the shenanigans.
Rating 4/5
I’ve just finished part two of this series. It is very funny and enjoyed it immensely. As expected, it finished on a cliffhanger so I just can’t wait for part three to see what happens next.
As the story continues you learn more about the characters and become more invested in them.
It’s great to see Ella take a stand and do what she believes is right for herself, rather than submit to everyone else.
The author, as ever, gives you a real sense of being within the story, standing back and seeing what is happening in everyone’s lives. I love the way each character is different and enjoy the different dynamics as they come together in sometimes challenging situations!
I can’t wait to see what happens with the various storylines within this book.
Loved it!! The second part definitely didn't disappoint. Lorraine and her hen party details was insane. Does she really know her sister with the activities that she scheduled? Aunt Rita was hilarious and seemed to be topless a lot. Rufus was lucky not to be a Pirate snack. Hopefully that's the last we see of horrid Wanda. Although, I suspect she will make trouble for Ella's new business venture. I love Lucy and Ella. I love the friendship that they have. There's still a bit of mystery surrounding the case Lucy is dealing with at work. Why is that person stalking her and is the woman telling the truth about her husband? I have so many questions. Everything that comes out of Lucy's mouth makes me laugh. Kit is still perfect for Ella. They need to just confront their parents instead of concocting crazy stories to keep them apart. Of course, the book ended at the best part!!! I need to know what happened when David and Jane locked eyes!!!! I love this series. Still love Pirate. Who doesn't love a blind, three-legged cat missing part of a lip, even if he does scare small children???
Definitely recommend the book. Loved the characters, writing style and story. I was smiling and laughing constantly while reading this. Can't wait to see what happens next!!!! Look forward to reading more books by the author.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Avon Books UK through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
If you enjoyed the first part of A Wedding at Sandy Cove, then you’ll like the second part, Stitched Up, even more. We have hen party shenanigans, builder Kit helping Ella realise her dream of running her own business and a new character, Rufus to content with! A great read that will make you laugh, smile and enjoy every moment. Thanks to NetGalley, Avon Books UK and the author for the chance to review.
