I absolutely love this book but reading it in parts is pure torture. I love the characters Lucy has her issues with her wayward mom, Ellie finding out the truth. The writing is brilliant as ever, Bella Osborne gets better with every new book. Can not wait for part four.
There’s more drama afoot for Ella in part three of A Wedding at Sandy Cove: Gown But Not Out. The successful launch of her bridal business has been sabotaged and with her best friends wedding only a few days away, will everything go to plan? I loved this instalment in the series, it will make you laugh and cringe and I can highly recommend it. Thank you to NetGalley, Avon Books UK and the author for the chance to review.
Loved it!! The third part definitely didn't disappoint. Aunt Rita's confession was sort of unexpected, although she was topless for most of the hen party. She's definitely a wild one, only got a glimpse of her shenanigans at the wedding reception before the book ended. Stripping naked on the dance floor isn't usually something you see at weddings. I can see why Lucy is frustrated with her mom. Her mom only calls her when she needs something. I knew Wanda would try to Sabotage Ella. Wanda should try and work with Ella and they would both profit from it. Why would Ella's parents keep that a secret for so long? It's not like Ella is a child. Ella and Lucy finally had to wear the "dung dresses" as they are affectionately referred to as. What possessed Brittany to choose such atrocious dresses? Ella is definitely a talented seamstress to make the poopy dresses at least wearable and less ugly. So many poop jokes. Loved the banter between Lucy and the best man. I can see the sparks between them and maybe Lucy will change her mind about marriage. Isaac needs to be patted down every time he leaves the house. Rufus might end up a Pirate snack if he keeps getting loose in Ella's house. I love Lucy and Ella. I love the friendship that they have with each other. Everything that comes out of Lucy's mouth makes me laugh. There's still a bit of mystery surrounding the case Lucy is dealing with at work. Kit is still perfect for Ella. They both need to realize this. Does Todd/Toad not understand what Ella is telling him? Still love Pirate.
Definitely recommend the book. Loved the characters, writing style and story. I was smiling and laughing constantly while reading this. Can't wait to see what happens next, since it ended on such a cliffhanger!!!! Of course, the book ended at the best part!!!Look forward to reading more books by the author. Love the cover.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Avon Books UK through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Having loved the previous two parts of this series I couldn’t wait to get stuck into this one and read it in one sitting and it didn’t disappoint and like the previous instalments ended on a cliff hanger so now I am left eagerly anticipating the fourth and final part of a wedding at Sandy cove.
This part concentrated on the wedding of Brittany Ella’s best friend and on her getting to know the lovely kit more and how other events in her life are shaping up. Ella and kit continue to invest time and energy in getting their parents love lives back on track.
These short novellas are quick easy escapism reads which always leave you wanting more. These would make perfect summer holiday or beach reads.
I’ve just read part 3 of this series. The story continues apace with lots of twists and turns. Great reading and now I’m eagerly awaiting the final part.
