How to Love Your Neighbor starts off strong with charming characters and a fun enemies-to-lovers premise. The first half is lighthearted and engaging, full of witty banter and chemistry between the leads. However, the story starts to lose steam about halfway through. The last 40% feels dragged out, with unnecessary conflicts and repetitive scenes that stall the momentum.
While the book has its cute moments, the pacing issues made it hard to stay invested until the end. If you enjoy rom-coms but prefer a quicker pace, this one might test your patience.

A cute and witty enemies-to-lovers, dual perspective love story / romcom that hit all the feels.
I want to thank NetGalley, the author and the publisher for providing me with an audiobook version of this publication. In return, I have promised to provide an unbiased review.

How to Love Your Neighbor is the second novel by Sophie Sullivan in her Jansen Brothers series, though its able to be read on its own.
For whatever reason, I am a fan of a home reno rom-com. Maybe I can attribute it to the golden age of TLC and HGTV? This led me to have a predisposition to enjoy this enemies-to-lovers story of sunshiney Grace and surly Noah.
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me. All thoughts are my own.

Such a fun light hearted read! Really enjoyed it! I love a good enemies to lovers book. I loved the banter between the two characters. I did wish for them to spice things up more tho! The anticipation was all too real!

I held onto this one for far too long. What a fabulous story! Thank you for the opportunity to read this! I love this trope. I enjoyed every minute of this book

How to Love Your Neighbor was such a fun read. I will always be a sucker for the enemies to lovers sort of out-of-touch businessman falling for in this case the very down-to-earth girl next door. There was a lot I liked about this book from the writing style to the tropes used, but for me I sort of didn't fully feel the sparks between Grace and Noah. I don't know if it was a matter of the usage of fade to black, or if it was just, in general, me not really picking up on the sparks but towards the end, I sort of found myself hoping they would work it out but also just because I always root for HEA and not because I was specifically interested in their love story. I think the story is entertaining and cute, and it made me want to read Everly's story because the sections with her and Chris were super cute. I will say at times the book felt like it dragged a little, and it definitely held my interest a little more in some parts than others. But altogether I think it is a cute read that as a whole was entertaining and made me curious to read more by this author. I also will say that just in general I think the premise with the almost HGTV editorial feel was super fun. I am a sucker for the whole "fixer upper" sort of storyline in real life and apparently in literature now so I enjoyed that aspect a lot!
I will say the narration was not my favorite. While I thought it was okay- at times I felt like it took away from the story itself.

What a great romance story with the enighbor as the main character. It was heartwarming, engaging, and playful. I enjpyed the book and it was a quick read! I can't wait for more from the author!

I was very excited to read this book. The cover looked cute and I loved the synopsis. I also loved the tagline “Enemies to lovers meets HGTV.” The book definitely exceeded expectations! The story was cute and heartfelt. I really loved Noah and Grace’s chemistry and their playful banter involving renovating projects. It was entertaining and sweet to watch their romance unfold. The audiobook was a struggle though. The narrator did a great job portraying Grace’s personality but it was painfully boring to listen to. I think I would have enjoyed reading the book better. I felt like I was listening to a presentation versus an acting performance. I would still recommend this book if you are looking for a light and easy read!
I received a review copy from NetGallery and Macmillan Audio and I voluntarily provided an honest review. This does not affect the opinion of the book or the content of the review.

This book was absolutely adorable. I loved the characters and of course rom coms are my comfort read. Highly recommend reading this.

I couldn’t stand the narrators voice. I couldn’t get past chapter one due to this 😬 I would give the book a chance, because the description is great. I do love the cover! But when listening to an audiobook the narrator can really make or break it for me.

I thought this book was SOOOO cute!! The audio was very well done! Chloe is quickly becoming one of my favourite narrators. This book was fun and just made me feel happy, which I LOVE from a romance.

Thank you Netgalley for the review copy in exchange for my honest review.
I love romcoms and this was a fun read. Loved the narration and nice characters..

Yessss to a sunshine and grump trope it’s quickly becoming a fave for me! Home renovation made this feel like watching a mash up of HGTV and a good rom com and the couple was adorable

I always have a really hard time reviewing romances as many of them are very similar. They’re also predictable as they’re romances.
However, this was a really cute story. I loved the romance between the characters and this is one of my favorite tropes!
Great job to the author and narrator as they both did amazing!

This was a cute story. It’s deemed enemies to lovers but I didn’t see them as enemies at all. I like the backstory about the house being Graces grandparents. Noah seemed sweet and got a bad rap for his personality. This was a cute audio listen.

Talk about books with a cute cover! I'm a sucker for an illustrated cover, and this one was everything! I was excited to hear another Jansen brother romance story from Sophie Sullivan but unfortunately, I couldn't click with the narrator of this one. My favorite reading format is mixing audiobook and ebook for convenience, but I mostly stuck with the ebook for this one. I found myself drifting too much while listening to the audio.

Grace, an interior design student, inherited the house next door to real estate developer, Noah. Noah had plans to buy and bulldoze Grace’s house, so the two become instant enemies. When Noah hires Grace to help him design his house, the neighbors start rethinking their relationship.
This is an enemies-to-lovers, sunshine-and-grump novel set in the world of DIY. I loved Sophie Sullivan’s Ten Rules for Faking It, but I just liked this. It started off slowly, and it just didn’t live up to the expectations I had for it. I just didn’t really like Noah. That being said, I loved the mentions of Everly and Chris.
Thanks to St. Martin’s Press, Macmillan Audio, and NetGalley for my early copy. (I totally read this before it came out, but I’m so behind on my reviews!)

Grace & Noah are neighbors in this enemies to lovers rom-com. I only wish the characters were developed a bit further and earlier in the story. This lack of development made the story feel long. I liked the HGTV spin, but it wasn't enough for me to fall in love.

This was an easy read but can't say that there is anything in it new or exciting. I really didn't feel the connection between the characters. Overall it was just a little blah.

Cute story. I enjoyed the book before those one. Some of the characters come back for this one. The idea is cute but the characters are a tad immature. Over all a good beach summer read
