Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this eARC to review. Sadly the content within this book is not good for my mental health which I did not realise at the time so I am very sorry for that! I will give this 3 Stars as I couldn't review it properly. Apologies again!
As a moon child I really enjoyed this one. If you’re into astrology you should pick this one up.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the advanced reader copy. This is my honest review.
I have long been an avid moon child and find myself very influenced by her stages. Any knowledge on the topic and in understanding why this is and how to harness the differing energies could not fail to be of interest to me. This was solidly enjoyable, well-penned, of immense interest, and very instructional throughout.
good for diving deeper into them; some other books may give a bit of information on them whereas here you get a decent look at nodes. It is decently written.
A wonderful book especially for those with an immense astrology background. For me, this book was a little hard to digest but it was full of great information, just not up my alley of interest.
This book has interesting information regarding the nodes and their connections to the sun, the moon, and the different planets depending on the degrees. I enjoyed looking at the north and south nodes in a new perspective and I appreciate this book a lot for that. My only criticism of this book is that it has a lot of examples of different people, and when I say it is a lot, it really is A LOT. And it definitely tainted my reading experience with this book because of too much mentioning of people I either don't know about or whom I just really don't care about. I wished there were less people and more concise and direct explanation of theories or findings.
Great book about lunar nodes, what they are, how to use them and their meaning. Very meaningful when added to a birth chart. Should be in every witches library, I received this book from Net Galley and Llewellyn for a honest review.
Insightful interpretation brought by master astrologer Wendell Perry. Like his previous work “Behind the Horoscope,” the author speaks from a solid grasp of horoscope analysis and expertise drawn from years of client work. The few existing works on Moon’s Nodes have offered little information and essentially, lack guidance on their function and purpose in the personal horoscope. Perry’s interpretations are pragmatic and useful, as he says, “I focused my study on the behaviors and trends of various people who could be observed and described in real-life terms.” A most welcome approach, as the past has featured too much invention overall in horoscope interpretation. Chapters include planetary aspects to the Lunar Nodes, house and angular placements, and Transits–– a complete repertoire of Nodal wisdom!
Not particularly helpful if you don't have a birth chart. This is not for beginner lunar/astrology enthusiasts. Nevertheless, my library will purchase this because it is valuable wisdom for those who are ready to apply themselves to learning how the moon affects our charts and lives.
