Are We Lost Yet, take the read on an adventure through the forest and city streets. Enjoying a fun filled summer as all young ones should do. The art is fun and pictures tell their own stories.

If you adore comic strips and comics in general, you'll like this book more.

I particularly liked the art because it has a strong comic book aesthetic. The language and characters are quite interesting, and the art sequence is simple to follow.

If you appreciate similar stories in general, you will enjoy this one because it is very much a slice of life story.

I adore Spud and Wallace. Their friendship is enjoyable because despite their stark differences, they have a good time together and push one another to go beyond their comfort zones. As I read this book, I became aware that Henry writes these volumes over the course of a year. I am already anticipating the upcoming one.

I must admit going into this review that I am highly biased. I follow the author of Instagram and enjoy almost every one of the panels about Wallace and his tiny clan. I have adored the previous three works in varying degrees and am extremely (but pleasantly surprised) at the fact that none of the panels repeats from the ones on the Insta account.
The support system around Wallace continues to get stronger and funnier in equal measure. Wallace by himself is not necessarily a funny child. He is a very straightforward kid who has ideas, and he implements them first and thinks of consequences later. He does not really do well alone, wanting to have people around him most of the time.
The children are ageing very slightly as the books progress, but Wallace's brother Sterling is moving on from the toddler stages, and his is the most obvious growth. Thanks to Sterling becoming more independent, his parents are starting to get their own turn in the spotlight. They make a fascinating couple.
The town stays the same, but the children's adventures have their own newness. I felt like everything I was reading was fresh and hilarious in its own way. I visit this world for the camaraderie and was pleased to get what I expected. It is the kind of book that works well for adults and children to read together and enjoy equally!
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new graphic novel series/comic panel to follow/peruse. I might someday buy them all when there are enough to make up an omnibus.
I received an ARC thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, but the review is entirely based on my own reading experience(of this and the previous works).

<b>"Wallace is gonna jump Farmer Brown's award-winning manure pile with a pogo stick."</b>

Seriously? What part of that sentence is NOT absolutely enchanting?

If you find yourself intrigued by the possibilities, grab a sparkler, and head on over to Snug Harbor to catch the fun in the latest collection of one of my favorite comics - <b>Wallace the Brave</b>.

Wallace and his pals indulge in all the traditional kid activities like swimming, baseball, and, you know . . . searching for Sasquatch.

This one includes the delightful story arc in which the hapless Spud is mistaken for a raccoon by a legally blind animal control officer.

Comedy gold, I tells ya!

<i>Thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel for another magnificent dose of Wallace and the gang.</i>

Wallace the Brave series is rapidly becoming one of my favorite children's graphic novel series of all time. I grew up on Calvin and Hobbes, and the humor and hijinks found in Henry's series is very reminiscent of those classic comics. Wallace expands his friend circle in this novel to include the new girl, Rose, who is definitely smarter and more polite than Wallace and crew, but she's still up for tricks and adventures and is a wonderful new character to follow. This book takes us through another year of Wallace's life from the start of summer to Christmas, and if filled with lots of humor. Perfect for any kid looking for a homey adventure.

I really liked this book and all the characters. The collection is filled with short stories. It’s a great, fast and enjoyable read. I found myself chuckling at many of the antics in the stories.

The pictures that went with the book were simple, but well done. Also the characters themselves were super cute.

Overall, I would read more by this author and read more with these characters.

It's the fourth book of the Wallace the Brave series! Yay!

We're introduced to Rose, a budding polymath, and in some ways, out-Wallaces Wallace, although Rose's introduction brings her into the group as a complement of Wallace: Wallace may point out constellations, but Rose can talk about the stars in that constellation.

Spud continues as the universal set-up man and The Most Neurotic Child In Rhode Island, with a startling tendency to be the victim of his own warnings.

Amelia's back--with a bang. The "Amelia and the Pumpkin" storyline is worth the price of admission. We usually don't see Amelia planning the chaos, but this time we get to observe Amelia in action until the final gooey denouement, and we get a better idea of what makes her tick.

And of course, we have another origin story for Wallace's younger brother, Sterling. Watching Sterling in action, the origin stories make a sort of surrealistic sense...

Whether you're new to the series or you've been a happy reader since the beginning, it's an equally good time to jump on in--just remember your Wellies, it's muddy out there!

I am a huge fan of this artist and comic and this book doesn't disappoint. The cast of characters is lovely and the plotlines are fun and warm. There were new comics even this huge fan hasn't seen and they all made me smile. I encourage anyone who misses the joy of reading Sunday comics to take a look at this (and the rest of the series).

Rose is a great, seamless addition to the cast, and the rest of the comics follow that same zany calvin meets nate the great energy that makes this comic so enjoyable. The regional details, the family dynamics, and the rhythm of the school year and the seasons make this so fun to read.

I was not familiar with "Wallace the Brave", but very much enjoyed these short comics as vignettes of family life, friendship and adventure. Funny, sometimes very funny, but coupled with a deeper message that opens the door to important conversations with your kids.

It's a funny graphic novel.
The art, includes illustrations and color reminds me of 'peanut" series.

rounding this up to ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. a collection of comic strips focusing on the tales of wallace and friends as they discover life and going on adventures together.

it reminded me of reading the comics section in the newspapers where they feature short comic strips. the art style is pretty similar too and personally i feel that its best to read them lightheartedly.

this is my first intro to wallace the brave comics and i picked this up not knowing it was book 4 of the collection - wished i knew more in depth of the characters so that i would be able to understand why certain characters act certain way.

overall i was pretty much entertained and probably will explore more of the comic series.

thank you @netgalley for providing me the ebook review copy! 💫

This was a pretty okay read. It felt more like a compilation of the comic strips that come in the newspaper daily, supposed to be humorous, but failing to make you laugh. Illustrations were fine too, nothing special there either. Maybe I'm being to harsh on the book as a grown up and maybe I'd have liked it as a kid, but then again, I give high rating to most children's books.

Are We Lost Yet? by Will Henry is a collection of comics that reminded me of reading Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes. This book is Book 4 in the Wallace the Brave series. According to the description, "together with Rose, Spud, Amelia, and the rest of their friends, Wallace enjoys a lifestyle of mischief, exploration, (and yes, school) that will thrill middle-grade readers."

Overall, Are We Lost Yet? is a lighthearted and humorous collection of comics. It will appeal to many readers, especially those who enjoy non-sequential comics like the ones printed in newspapers. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the humor in most of the comics, so I didn't enjoy reading this book. I'm sure many people will enjoy the humor though. If you're intrigued by the description, you can check out this book when it comes out in May!

One of the best comic strip series to come out in a very long time. I’ll keep reading these books! Thank you to the publisher and Will Henry for this series!

Are We Lost Yet? is a fun read for elementary age kids. I read it with my 8 year old who loved the unexpectedness of the story, had lots of laughs throughout the book and overall just enjoyed our time reading it.

I would like to thank the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this eBook.

Wallace the Brave is one of my favourite comic strip and I would rank it at the top along with Calvin and Hobbes. I have read all the previous Wallace the Brave collections and Are We Lost Yet? was as funny as the other ones. I love each and every little quirky character, the art, the colour. I would recommend it to everyone!
