If YA Fantasy is you jam, this book will be right up your alley. Quick read, enticing characters, maestro world building, every essential mandate in the recipe for creating a reader-friendly Fantasy book - all of them are incorporated in this book. I do feel that the ending was a tad bit rushed. Regardless, I can't wait to read more from the author.
While not a hot fan of YA works, I did like the unique magic system the author builds in this novel. While the ending felt rushed, overall, I was quite pleased with the outcomes and look forward for more!
This romance/dragon shifter has adorable teen characters who are trying to save their parents. I felt this book gave excellent background and explained each characters personality and growing powers. Those early details do make more sense once you understand what's going on and how it all ties together. I would like more of a backstory about the parents. The ending felt too quick, but that just makes me excited to speed through the next installment.
Snow and Red. Ice and Fire. Their mother warned them to keep their powers hidden but a chance encounter will change their lives forever.
Wow ! This book had me hooked from the start. I feel completely in live with Snow,Red, Dante and Zeph I was all in on watching their romances grow. The story was a great mix of action and romance that kept me wanting to read more,
What a cliffhanger ending though 😳 Glad I don't have too long to wait for the next book.

I've been trying to read more dragon books and this one has to be a new favorite. One thing I always love in books is good sibling relationships. I really liked the contrast between Red and Snows personalities. Another thing I loved was the dialogue, every character was super unique and lovable. I absolutely cannot wait for the second book!

This urban fantasy introduces a unique magic system including all beings of the sort; dragons, mages, and Fae; from realm-traveling shifters to element-wielding shifters. Told through multi-perspective narration readers get to decide who to trust and what secrets to believe.
Meet Snow and Red, the ultimate sister duo, and self-described "freaks". It is up to these teen girls to learn more about their hidden powers through secrecy and adventure. Enter Dante and Zephyr, the bad boy twins who are on the quest to bring their abducted parents home. When these siblings cross paths, or in this case, alleyways, is it fate bringing them together?
Snow and Red is comparable to Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunters phenomenon with engaging world-building and cryptic setting balanced with playful banter and strong characters.
As (metaphorical) bombs drop, it is impossible not to question where your loyalties lie; sister vs. sister, twin vs. twin, and good guy vs. bad guy. The thoughtfully-planted easter eggs left along the way leading up to the grand finale of it all, my favorite, a cliff-hanger. What trouble could these characters get themselves into in book two?
While I had the potential to love this book, it was a three-star read because I personally struggle with urban fantasies and typically prefer dystopian societies.
