I was so excited to get an ARC of SHEIKH'S PREGNANT FAKE FIANCEE on NetGalley because I love Leslie North's sheikh romances. American woman who meet the princes of their dreams and fall madly in love.

Zev and Meredith started out a little different - a fun, no strings attached relationship before Meredith even knew he was a future sheikh. With a love prophecy hanging over his head, Zev asks Meredith to pose as his fiancee so the press will focus more on what he wants to do for the country as sheikh and less on his love life.

Things get a little complicated when Meredith finds out she's pregnant. I loved everything between Zev and Mere because I got to see from both sides that they were falling in love. Each one assumed the other wanted out of the bargain, like they agreed, and it broke my heart to watch that. But oh, this book is so sweet! I loved it and it wasn't until about halfway through that I remembered reading Willow and Hadi's story (another gem!).

This book is perfect for royalty romance fans and those who enjoy a good fake engagement!

Sheikh Zev Sava has no intention of following his cousins down the aisle to matrimonial bliss. Zev is about to take over as ruler of his province, and he’s determined to defy the archaic prophecy that states he’s required to marry. After all, he’s certain his progressive subjects don’t expect him to fulfill such a ridiculous belief… Do they?Zev never leaves anything to chance, so he convinces Meredith, his best-friend-with-benefits back in the States, to agree to a fake engagement. She’ll get a free vacation to the Middle East, and he’ll get some respite. What could go wrong? But Zev quickly learns that when it comes to romance, nothing is ever that easy…
Merideth is a bit skeptical about Zev’s idea, but she just can’t pass up the chance to escape her hometown. Besides, she’s happy to help Zev out as long as he understands she’s not looking for a long-term relationship. But soon after they announce their engagement, Meredith finds herself feeling a bit queasy…
Surely, she can’t be pregnant. And if she is, can this fake romance become real, before they both end up with broken hearts?

Sheikh Zev and Meredith meet whilst studying at Havard and become best friends and friends with benefits. Zev returns to his home country but is under pressure to get married to fulfill an ancient prophecy. He returns to see Meredith as he can’t forget her and she agrees to become his fake fiancé to give him some time to break the prophecy. She becomes pregnant but is panicking as she grew up in foster care.
This is the final book on the trilogy but can be read as a stand a line novel. .

I received this book free for a review by NetGalley. I did enjoy this book. It is about friends turned lovers turned complicated relationship. It explores what feelings and expectations you put on yourself and what other people expect. It can be read as a stand-alone story that kept you interested. I like the buildup friendship of the relationship of the H and H. The book flowed easily to read. It is a quick read perfect for traveling. It is part of a trilogy but I did not read the 1st 2 books - but will because the appearance of the H and H in the previous books piqued my interest to read the whole trilogy. I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more works from this author.

Meredith and Sheikh's Zev meet while attending college and are in a best friends with benefits relationship. The relationship ends when Zev has to return to his country but he can't stop thinking about Meredith so he returns to see her. He convinces Meredith to come home with him as his fake fiancée and she will get free summer vacation while he try's to disprove the prophecy. On arrival Meredith is meet with terrible news coverage as a gold digger. While Zev works on disproving the prophecy Meredith discovers she is pregnant. Meredith struggles with a lot of self doubt due to growing up within the foster care system. Zev starts to lose focus on what is important to him. Highly recommend. I enjoy every book I read by Leslie North.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 3rd in a series, but reads great as a stand alone. This is Zev (Sheikh) and Meredith's story. They met at Harvard, and had a relationship. The title gives the storyline away. I liked them both but didn't really connect. Meredith is pretty insecure for someone who has a PhD from Harvard. For me, these are totally unbelievable but just fun to read. 3 stars Predictable but love the different part of the world.

Fake turns to reality.

Zev is a prince doing research at Cambridge University and Meredith is working towards her degree in Social Work. They meet at a Christmas party and become friends with benefits. When Zev returns home to replace his father on the throne, he has to fulfil a phophecy. The prophecy states that he should get married, and his main aim is to squash the prophecy. He returns to Cambridge and makes a proposal to Meredith that she becomes his fake fiancée to keep the press off his back and buy him time to not fulfil the prophecy. The fake engagement becomes too real, only neither of them wants to getin the way of each other 's future plans. So they honour their agreement, but at what cost?

This short and sweet romance portrays two loving and lovable characters. Zev and Meredith are compassionate and wish for the well being of others. Their main goal is to help underprivileged children. There is a hiccup towards the end, but ends well.

I received an eARC from Netgalley and the views expressed are my personal opinion.

Meredith is Zev's prophecy beard. I laughed the first time I read that. It worked, a little too good. Zev's family and people fell in love with her and Meredith fell in love with Zev. I was really happy with the way this book ended. Happy endings for all.
