An unusual and very original thriller which raises important questions about how we treat the planet we call home and the other people who live on it. We all know about the devastating effects of climate change but how many of us do anything to try to slow this down.? The author has written a very thought provoking novel with larger than life characters.
Fascinating setting and so great to see matters of the environment brought to bear in contemporary literature. This book will make you think about your own position in these areas. This is too short for the subject matter it covers and I think the author could easily have added another 100 pages digging further into some of the ethical issues or in character development.

My Review
When I first read the synopsis of Blind Eye, I was hesitant to give it a go. However, I am glad that I did! This book is definitely fitting for a thriller, albeit, an eco-thriller, which isn't my normal style. The story and main character hook you right from the start.
The Good Things
1. The story is engaging and the overall plot is well written.
2. The environmental aspects of the book certainly aim to shed light on the importance of protecting the environment.
The Bad Things
1. "Fast-Paced" is an understatement. Although over 250 pages, this seemed like a quick read. I wish it were a bit longer.
2. I personally don't LOVE the cover, but that is absolutely no reason not to read this book!
My Final Rating: ☆☆☆☆
