Another instalment about the lovely Bridget and her bakery. My only complaint about this book is that it wasn’t long enough! I hope there’s more stories about her from Alex Brown as I really enjoyed this trip to the seaside.

Lovely to be back at the bakery. It tied every thing up neatly . A very enjoyable read. Some nice twists . You do wonder about red tape sometimes. You probably needed a good piece of cake or bread with you when you read it. A perfect ending

Thanks for the invite to read and review. I enjoyed book 1 and this is a lovely follow up novella.. Grear to catch up with the characters and to see Bridget moving forward with her life.

If like me your Christmas was made after reading A Cosy Christmas at Bridget’s Bicycle Bakery then you are in for a treat because author Alex Brown is back with a novella reuniting us with Bridget called A Summer Holiday at Bridget’s Bicycle Bakery.

The best way I can describe this novella is it is like catching up with an old friend over coffee having a catch up seeing what has been going on in Bridget’s life since we last saw her. She is going from strength to strength both in her business and also in moving onto the next chapter in her life allowing her grief and loss of Ted to naturally ease as she adapts to her new life and starts to allow new beginnings to blossom.

I have to also comment on the cover for this novella too it radiates happiness and summer vibes and even if I didn't already know this author I would be shallow enough to pick this book up based on the cover alone!

A feel good mini read that has still left me wanting more from Bridget so I hope to once again be reunited with her to see how her business is progressing.

I really enjoyed this short story/novella, which is a sequel to the first book in this series. It was nice to catch up with the same characters-a very pleasant read.

Such a fun and interesting read. Did I laugh? Yes. Did I also maybe tear up? Also yes. These things definitely make up a good portion of what I consider a great story. I have enjoyed this author and hope to read more of their works as soon as possible.

This is a really sweet short story continuing Bridget’s bakery story. It was great to see how she has settled and is ready to expand although her plans weren’t as straightforward as she expected as well as catch up with the other characters. My only complaint is that I would have loved a full novel about her! 9/10

Lovely book although a bit short. Bridget has been going round in her bike selling her baking when she decides to try and open the bakery that has been closed for years.
