This is a really cool book. It draws you in with the amazing artwork and presents a wealth of information. I really appreciated that the book starts with a history of Tarot and more information about how it's used. This was followed by the explanation of the cards symbolism which was particularly beautifully illustrated. The book finishes by explaining a few different ways to read Tarot cards. All around a great introduction and resource.

I’m pretty into astrology but I never got more into tarot and I think this is the best book to start with! It gives you a general idea and explains everything so nicely, it made me want to get even deeper into this world. Side note, but this version is absolutely beautiful!

This is great! Very useful guide for tarot readers who are just starting out, and it will be a good reference for them as they continue to learn this skill and hone their craft. It gives the history of tarot, and it explains the different tarot decks. (Who knew that there was a manga deck of tarot cards!) It also functions as a reference guide to explain the meaning behind each card. Will recommend.

I ordered my teens a deck of tarot cards recently. They’ve been wanting to learn and I wanted to find something better than the very thin pamphlet/booklet that came with the cards. Enter this book. The cover struck me and I was so pleased to receive an advance copy of this to peruse.

The illustrations are amaaazing
While targeted to a YA audience, this book could suit anyone interested in pursuing knowledge of the tarot. This includes the history of tarot, explanations of the cards, along with instructions on practicing 1-card daily readings as well as 3-card, etc.

The physical copy of this book seems like the hands down winner (with a ribbon bookmark, and foiled cover) and I’m planning on ordering a copy of this for our personal library.

I loved the design and illustrations. Also the small History of tarot with the timeline was a nice addition !
I just wish there was at least one page dedicated to each card and it's meaning. A small paragraph isnt enough I think

First of all, this book is beautifully illustrated! I'm a collector of Tarot Cards and Books and I have to say this is one of the more gorgeous illustrations I have seen. I really enjoyed the beginner's knowledge and history of Tarot that Suki Ferguson introduces the reader to. It was wonderfully presented and broken down enough that it was perfect for a beginner or one that has more experience within the Tarot world. I learned a bit and really enjoyed the historical aspects. I will say, this is definitely one to read as a physical book as the ebook, or especially, a Kindle reader for instance will not do the gorgeous illustrations justice. This is definitely a book I will have to purchase and have on my shelf!

Thank you to Netgallery for providing me with an electronic ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is an amazing book. It's the best guide for beginners to tarot I have seen so far. I am by no means an expert at tarot, but I have been trying to get more into it over the past year and have found that many of the guides to learning tarot are just walls of text with usually just the Rider-Waite illustrations in simple black and white.

The artwork and illustration is STUNNING. You can tell that both The author and illustrator put a lot of hard work, thought, effort and talent into making this book come together and it really pays off. The formatting is engaging and easy to read.

It goes into the history of tarot, which was very interesting and is often overlooked. It's LGBTQ+ inclusive, with gender neutral wording. (As in the book does not assume the gender, orientation, or race of the reader)

I will absolutely be purchasing a physical copy once this book is released, and I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in getting into tarot, or even those who just want a handy guide on hand.

I like that it's targeted at younger readers yet also appeals to anyone. It's modern, and simple, and exactly what I have been looking for.

This book was such a great and informative read! I'm not a YA but I definitely learned a few new things. The art work in this book was absolutely jaw dropping. I will be keeping this around for my own personal learning journey with Tarot.

This book was a really amazing book for beginner tarot readers who want to learn a little bit more. The book starts by talking about the history of tarot in all countries, then it goes into the meanings of suits and cards in general. This book was definitely made to be a physical copy, as the pops of gold in the book don't show up on kindles and other sorts of e-reader devices. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to start getting into tarot. Thank you, NetGalley for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

This is such a gorgeous book. Readers can see how much work and love went into making all the graphics and illustrations. The cover and color scheme are stunning.
It's for beginners as the blurb says, especially teenagers that are interested in exploring the tarot. It's well organized and easy to navigate. It could have been a bit longer and that's the only point of improvement I can think of.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This tarot treasury is absolutely stunning! I read it as a PDF, and I cannot wait to purchase it once it releases.

The Good things
1. The illustrations are gorgeous.
2. The information is simply represented perfectly and is informative and thorough.
3. I especially love the history (Tarot Through Time) aspects, and I think the authors explain the cards and symbolism fantastically.

The Bad Things
1. This seems like the type of book that is best purchased as a physical copy rather than an ebook. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still stunning on a tablet, but on a black and white kindle, the gold features and beautiful photos in the book may not pop well.

Pros: I volunteer with college students and am always looking to learn more about their interests. They love to do tarot readings for each other, but I never know how to join in the conversations. This book was a great introduction for newbies to tarot like me. I loved how visual this book is--the illustrations are fantastic. I was fascinated when reading about the symbols and meanings of the cards.

Cons: I would love to see a tarot deck that could be purchased as a companion to this book. (And it's possible there already is, and I'm just not aware of it!)

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing, Wide Eyed Editions for the opportunity to read this book!

this is a wonderful resource for beginners to tarot. the illustrations were beautiful and i found all the information to be sound and easy to follow. the inclusion of the history of tarot was nice as most beginner tarot books overlook this aspect. i do wish that the pages regarding the card meanings were in the same style as the rest of the art in the book and redrew the rider waite deck instead of using the stock images, this would have made the book feel more cohesive in my eyes. nonetheless i enjoyed the book.
