If you ended a relationship and you're trying to move on from it, seeing your ex in one of your most unprepared moments can make you feel like shit. That is what Shelby felt. But trust Nick to feel otherwise and try to win her back with his best effort, the second time round.

To me, I liked that this book felt like a book of second chances. A book that covered whatever that was missed earlier. It brings out the ugly sides of two individuals just so that it can become beautiful together. It showed two people trying to be better for one another.

However, I feel like it has way too brief at the end and there was too many interactions with the people around them. It felt too rushed for me.

But nevertheless, a fast and light read and I liked having a less intense romance to read.

Will it be a second chance romance for Shelby and Nick? She ran when he tried to get serious with her last time, so can he change his approach and get her to give him another chance?
