There a lot of good moments in the Good Entrepreneur, but it never completely connects with the fullness of the messaging. It is clear that the book is striving to make points about staying the course, finding value and meaning and taking risk that reflect who you are. But it never lands on those points fully. There is a complete lack of depth in the content, and with more research the author could probably find more cogent versions of the points he is making. It reads as a book that is written to impress and not to serve. There are aspects of the book that are disappointing such as claiming the acronym for FINE as something the author wrote as opposed to an age old 12 step saying. These moments reduce the potential message of the book and seem to be the authors desire to claim his cleverness. That reduces a chance to authentically connect and made the experience of the book less enjoyable.

What I love about this book is that it really dives into what you can learn and how to be an entrepreneur. And that it's not just an inherent trait someone has - like Oprah, Elon, etc. It puts entrepreneurship in attainable terms.

The priorities really spoke to me - courage over fear, purpose over power, asking for help.

The exercises at the end of each chapter were really helpful. I've read a lot of professional development / business books and this one is different and good. Big fan - thank you for the early copy of it!
